tried repeatedly unsuccessfully to sign up for pick up on line. once it said i was putting in an invalid email address, once it would not take my credit. they warned there were additional charges if you call them. had to call many times to get pick up scheduled. phone person was very rude and unhelpful. it was $300 to pick up two bags in addition to the $30 cost for each bag one wonders how much others charge. never again read more

Waste Management trash collection: I rented a dumpster for an office building I own. So many hidden fees it will make your head spin. Don't rely on the rate they quote you in their contract. They get you to sign a three year contract. This is just the bait price. Then each month you pay fuel surcharges that are not insignificant - try 25% to the contract price (it's all in the small print of your contract - they must have great lawyers). You will never pay the price you were quoted. When it comes time for the contract to end after three years, you cannot cancel it unless you gave certified written notice no less than three months before the contract end date and not more than six months. The contract automatically renews on you if you are not diligent. My waste management bill was quoted at $ 121.36 per month. I routinely paid over $165. It goes on and on and it's all in the fine print of the contract. I now rent a dumpster from an independent hauler for $ 35.00 month. Shop around, you will likely save thousands of dollars over the three year contract. read more

Lots of headaches and problems trying to use them. The first time we used bagster a year ago we had no problems. This time it was completely different. My wife kept calling for a pickup. At first we were told it would be a few days. Then as that time went by we were told they would be there on the weekend, as we had gone to "the top of the pickup list". Then the weekend came and went and our trash was still on the sidewalk. On Monday they acted completely shocked, shocked I say that it was not picked up. Tomorrow , it will be done tomorrow, we are so sorry. Tuesday came and went. When by wife called again they were pissed at my wife! But it will be done tomorrow they said. When my wife called the next day they could not give a date when it would be picked up and acted as if they wish she would go away. So we called someone else and it was gone the same day. I was told by these junk people that if bagster does not come in two days they do not come at all because your on someone's route that doesn't want to go to your neighborhood. The worst customer service I have ever experienced. Dropped the dumpster off a day late. Was told I would be allowed to keep for a week. They picked up the dumpster two days early. Was told that if they had dropped the dumpster off when they were supposed to, I would have been allowed to keep for a week. So because the dumpster was dropped off a day late I got two less days. Which made no sense. I spoke to multiple supervisors and was promised a call back. Never received one. Everyone gives a different answer and honestly seem to make up what the policies are. Bought this bag about a month ago. Seemed like a great idea for moving and getting rid of junk. Filled the bag up and left it on the side of my driveway. Schedule the pickup and got a 3 day window. Bag was not on the schedule until the day after (4th day) which was not a big deal however, the bag was not picked up. Called customer service and got the bag back on the schedule. long story short, this is now the 4th time I've had to call and they STILL haven't picked up my bag. Apparently the reasoning is that there is snow/ice around the bag and it's unsafe for the workers. I LIVE IN MINNESOTA. There is snow.. there is ice, it's winter. We cleared around the bag and there is no ice or snow except on one side because the sides of our driveway obviously have snow banks and we don't want to completely block off the driveway. Remember, the bag is filled and heavy and you still need access to your driveway especially when the company gives you a 3 day pickup window. It's moved out enough that you can actually walk all the way around the bag safely. I have never been so frustrated with a service in my entire life. RENT A DUMPSTER. Save yourself this insane headache, pay the extra money and just get a dumpster. read more

I received an email from Bagster last Friday informing me that my bag had been collected and my credit card had been charged. I returned home from work and the bag was still there. I have called everyday since then for a WEEK and everyday I am told the bag will be collected the following day. Every day I return home from work and it's STILL there. I have followed all the rules about where the bag is to be filled and placed and there are no obstructions to prevent access. I live in a city with a population over 1 million so its not like I'm in some remote community! The bag is on my driveway blocking my garage and we have no street parking out front our house...So this is a MAJOR INCONVENIENCE. I WILL NEVER USE THIS SERVICE AGAIN AND NEVER RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE. Collection issues aside, the bag itself is not very useful. My demolition contractor threw his materials into the bag as he went (as expected) and the bag did not maintain its shape. I had to remove 80% of the material and spent more than 1 hour carefully "repacking" it by placing heavier materials on the bottom and stacking things carefully and evenly so the bag wouldn't collapse. When you are doing demolition, this is the last thing you want to bother with!.... DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME, GET A REAL BIN! read more

Brought the bagster, which cost me $29. Filled it up and put it in the alley. Put on my instructions that its a limited access alley. That was on Thursday and it sat until Monday, at which time I was charged $70 and told that it couldn't be picked up because the truck couldn't make it in my alley. 3 waste management trucks come in everyweek to pick up garbage, landscaping and recycling, yet this one couldn't get in? No where in their instruction does it say that it has to be a straight alley. Now I'm out over $100 and the junk is still there. Just called 1(800) GOT JUNK and they are coming out tomorrow and sounds like their pricing is a lot better plus they do all the hauling. Thanks for nothing WASTE MANGEMENT. read more

This is regarding the Bagster Dumpster Bag service. The bottom line: READ EVERY BIT OF THE FINE PRINT BEFORE BUYING A BAGSTER. I used a Bagster at my mother's property in Hyde Park in 2011; it was picked up no problem. Therefore, we expected the same result in 2017 but it was SO not the case. We put the Bagster in the exact same spot but (according to a neighbor) the truck stopped at the bottom of the driveway, the driver looked out the window, and drove away. When I called, I was told there wasn't enough clearance under the power lines. I was charged $50 for this but negotiated it down to $25. Awesome. My wonderful tenant unloaded the Bagster, moved it onto his trailer, and refilled it. I contacted Bagster to request a pickup for a SPECIFIC day as time was a huge factor. They gave us a 3-day window. I asked them to please, please, please try to set it up for Wednesday as there will be someone there and they can move the trailer to wherever the truck can pick up the Bagster. I called back the next day for an update. They had nothing. I called back the morning of the specific pick up day and was told the request had been escalated but it was not on the route; it would be Thursday. I was transferred to Todd at the main office who also told me it would be Thursday but then when he realized it was on a trailer, said that Bagster would not touch it unless it was on level ground. After all the many phone calls made by my tenant and myself and all that wasted time and effort, they weren't going to take it anyway. I would not recommend using a Bagster unless you live in a very wide open, easily-accessible location where there is nothing at all near it and you have no time constraints as to when it will be picked up. Oh, and make sure you have a back up plan just in case they decide they won't take it because there's a unicorn in the way or Bigfoot is in the Bagster. read more

They move into an area, jack up prices, put string arm collections in place, are relentless in collecting even when wrong, charge rent for dumpsters to contractors, service is average, customer service is bad. If you can find someone else I would recommend you do so, they took over a hauler that we had a 10 year relationship with and drove us away after a month of using them. They will do the job as good as anyone else for more money and hassle than anyone else, proceed with your eyes open, read the fine print. read more

I'd leave negative stars if that were an option. This company is the worst. I have a 2 cubic yard dumpster that gets emptied twice per month. In the winter months, I always get excuses from them as to why the driver couldn't get in the driveway to empty the dumpster so it will go another 2 weeks before being picked up and yet I still get charged the full amount. They raise their rates practically on a monthly basis and when I finally called to cancel they told me that the contract I signed 4 years ago automatically renewed itself last year and that I would be charged 6 months of service for breaking this current contract. They are unbelievable! Their prices are 4 to 5 times higher than all the other quotes I received for identical service. I will never use Waste Management again! read more

Poor customer service and employees are inconsiderate. For residential service they miss trash pickups and will use any reason to justify it. One event was I saw the dump truck drive by my trash bin without stopping and when a I called to complain they told me that it was over the weight limit. I ask how they could tell it was over the weight limit without stopping for the bin. They didn't have an answer nor would they come to pick up my trash. I would avoid doing business with waste management if possible. read more

If you are thinking that a cute little green Bagster bag for your home remodel is the way to go, don't do it. Once you've filled your bag, and then are online scheduling your pick up is when they spring the limitations for boom truck on you. So move your trash once, hire a proper dumpster, don't try and be cheap with a Bagster. Spend the 400 bucks and get a proper dumpster, and preferably not through WM. read more

If I could give zero out of five stars, I would. My husband and I followed Bagster's instructions to the letter, and the bags were easily accessible in our jumbo-jet-sized driveway. We live on a side street, but FedEx and UPS drive on it every day, and I've seen giant dump trucks navigate it with ease. My contractor currently working at the house called to say Bagster's people came to my house, parked outside the fence for 20 minutes, and did not approach the bags. My contractor offered to drag the bags closer to the fence. The Bagster people said "no" and drove away. Two hours later I got an email from Bagster -- "Sorry, we couldn't navigate your street, it was too narrow." MY CONTRACTOR SAW YOU PARKED ON MY STREET. I called customer service, who was friendly but no help. "I'll email the office about this." She had absolutely nothing of value to tell me. False advertising, nonexistent service. As for the bags themselves, hey, quick and easy dumpsters. Don't use them because I'm positive that they're sold without the intention of ever following through on their advertising promises. We called 1-800-Got-Junk? instead, and they showed up 20 minutes later with their humongous truck, which definitely drove on my street and into my driveway. Go to their company instead. read more

The Bagster service used to be outstanding! They were dependable, courteous, professional, and true to their word. However, they have recently (at least since August 2017) started outsourcing their bagster service to a 3rd party and the service has really deteriorated. Bags are not picked up in the 3-day window that they commit to, pickups are not confirmed in a reliable manner, and the last time, 1-800-Got-Junk came to pick up the bag, removed everything from the bag piece-by-piece, and then left the bag in the middle of my lawn. Now, when you call customer service to get assistance, they have no visibility into where things are in the process, so the rep has to automatically escalate things and the customer ends up having to wait on a callback vs. getting a speedy resolution. Hopefully, this is a short-term issue that can be fixed, but if not, I expect to see many more similar reviews to the ones posted since August 1, 2017. read more

This is my first time using bagster. NEVER AGAIN! what a horrible horrible service. Scheduled my pick up on Sunday, got an email saying they would be there up to 3 days after I scheduled. Came home Wednesday night to the bagster still here, called and was told there was a delay WHICH I WAS NEVER NOTIFIED ABOUT. Was told it would be picked up Thursday WHICH NEVER HAPPENED. Called Thursday to speak with a supervisor who stated it would be picked up FIRST THING Friday morning. Came home on Friday to the bagster STILL in my yard. Spoke with another supervisor who then stated it would be picked up on Saturday and that there was nothing should could do or tell me further. What kind of company doesn't tell someone it will take 5 days for something to occur and then come the 5th day say "Oops well we contract your area out". I will never ever again in my life purchase one of these ridiculous bags for $30 to pay $180 for then to pick it up, meanwhile the bag is STILL sitting on my lawn. DON'T EVER USE BAGSTER read more

Bagster, would I use it again? No in one word, It was the most inconvenient product / service I have dealt with in a very long time. After scheduling and paying for the pick up I was notified by email the bag was going to be picked up very quickly. But then the truck never showed up, I called customer service they said the truck came by but the straps didn't touch so they wouldn't take it. Now here is the truth, I have 24hr security video that shows my house, yard, street and everything in between. not to mention I had actually tied the straps together to assure there wouldn't be any glitches for this pick up because I needed this bag removed asap due to upcoming snow ect. SO anyone who claims different can purchase the dvds for the week of this scheduled pick up. I called customer service again, I was told the driver had come by for pick up a second time. It never happened, again I have 24hr security video that shows different. Finally after one too many calls to customer service and too many return calls it was finally picked up. This was way too much of a hassle for the little that this bag actually holds. For about an extra $75.00 I could have had a real dumpster dropped off that holds much much more that also has guaranteed drop off and pick up days. I am in the process of renovating three different houses and thought this would be a great alternative but I was very wrong. I will never use Bagster or WM again. I will also make sure I tell as many as possible how bad this experience was. I will be using Facebook, Twitter, Yelp, Google and good old fashioned word of mouth. read more
