Please stay away!!! I took a Citizen eco-drive in to have it serviced and fixed. They told me they would have to ship it to Citizen to be fixed. I was quoted $80 for the work and agreed. Two weeks later I went in to pick up the watch and was told that the delivery truck had been robbed and my watch was stolen. I was shocked but expected them to have insurance and give me something for my loss. They were not even slightly sympathetic and even wanted me to pay for having Citizen fix the watch. After arguing with the younger and older man in the store they gave me a discount on a much inferior Citizen watch. My watch was from Japan. A $500 Japan only model that I'm sure they found a buyer for. They refused to produce a police report from the incident. I let it go but whenever I think about it I wish I had made a police report of my own. read more

This is a great place to go if you find yourself in need of a replacement watch battery. Around $9 and done in 15 minutes. Good stuff. No high-end watches on display, so it's not much for browsing. Also I don't think I would go here for complex repairs on expensive timepieces. But for average repairs and batteries, it can't be beat. read more

Watch Tech: I'm coming back!!! I tried taking the backing of my watch off myself to see what battery I needed to go buy, and after trying for an hour I drove over to Watch Tech getting there at 4:00pm (exactly that time because one of the coo coo clocks was going off when I walked in). I knew I had to be out of that place by 4:10pm in order to get to my next destination on time. I walked in, and was helped right away. She took my watch, said it was $7.99 to change the battery and was done in 7 minutes. I didn't even tell her I needed it to be done quickly! She came back to me and said she would normally charge a dollar more since the backing was on so tight, but decided not to charge me that extra dollar. She asked if I needed anything else, and that was it. Super friendly, great atmosphere, COOL watches everywhere. They even sell "like new" Fossil watches for a discounted price! I told her that one day I'd be back to buy myself a nice Fossil watch for work. Glad I came in today. I would HIGHLY recommend this place if you're looking for a WONDERFUL watch shop. read more

I came to get my watch fixed. Apparently I had to get my watch's movement overhauled. When I got it back, the date's face turned from black to white and was difficult to read. I took it back and the lady told me that it's better that way (as opposed to how I've had it for over 15 years)! Since attention to detail doesn't seem to be high on their priority, I'm not coming back. I'm taking my future business elsewhere. I sold a vintage Rolex to a buyer and I sent him to Watch Tech to have the band sized down. The owner of Watch Tech stated the watch was a fake without even opening the case up which caused my buyer to freak out. I had to refund him the money due to the ignorance of this stores owner. Keep in mind this place sells $20 digital watches and knows nothing about Rolexes and I am a collector who has been buying and selling for over 14 years. I now have a certificate of authenticity from the jeweler I purchased it from as well as a certificate from Rolex of America stating the watch is 100% authentic. Avoid this place if you value your watch. read more

I went into the shop needing a pin for my Omega Seamaster watch band. I was told it would cost $25 but the majority of that was in the labor. I said I did not need the labor, I've added and removed links many times before....takes 5 minutes. Told him I'd pay him $15 for the pin and be on my way. He refused to sell me one. Seems ridiculous to me that a simple pin replacement that takes 5 minutes should cost $25. I took the watch someplace else and got the parts I needed for less than $5 and did the install myself. I took in my watch to get the battery replaced. I was told that it needed additional repairs. I agreed to the repairs and said I would pick it up the next day at lunch. Right at lunch time I received a call saying that they were not able to fix my watch. It was surprising to not be notified of this until last minute, not the best customer service gesture. When I went to pick up my watch, the hands were no longer connected to the post of the watch and are now free floating in the watch. I would expect my watch to be in atleast the same condition that I dropped it off in, not worse. They explained to me why but showed little concern about the difference in my watch's appearance. This was upsetting. They told me that I don't understand how watches are fixed. Although this is true, again not good business to belittle the customer. Maybe it was a translation thing but it came off rude. They told me they take no liability and walked away saying they did not have to listen to me. I am far from impressed and will never return to this place of business. Hard to believe companies stay in business with customer service practices like that. There were two people at the time working, an older woman and a younger man...both were rude. I would rate this business with negative stars but didn't find that as an option. I've rarely had to have a watch repaired but I'm sure there's plenty of other repair places that value their customers and their customer's referrals. read more

Stopped in to replace a battery on my Luminox watch and read the good reviews, so had high expectations. She immediately took my watch, told me 10 minutes (and a reasonable price, about $10) and while I was waiting I bought a new Luminox watch that I've had my eye on elsewhere, but at a higher price. She included the full kit and threw in a nice Luminox hat too!!! The repair was done perfectly, and quickly as promised. No complaints here. I would recommend this place to anybody for watch repair. He told me the price up front, and then he had the battery replaced in the blink of an eye. He set the time for me too, and he put up with my indecisiveness while I was looking for a new leather band. He took several out of the case for me to look at, and eventually called his wife over to help me :) My watch is working again and has a swanky black leather band with contrast stitching. This place is amazing. I've had a few watches repaired by them and every time the service is quick, easy and high quality. Depending on what you want done with your watch, the prices can vary but always extremely affordable. I recently took my Nixon watch in to get a link removed because it kept sliding down my wrist and I wanted it tighter. Took them about 2 minutes and they even gave it to me free of charge.
