Do not let this very staged before picture fool you, the house had little curb appeal. I wish we had taken a more realistic before picture; it wasn't pretty. Patches of brown grass, dying vegetation, and dirt patches would have been on display. We replaced the dead grass and vegetation with tropical plants that thrive in shade. Plus we removed the old brick boundary around the oak tree with small bushes. Finally we created a beautiful walkway from our sidewalk to driveway. We were very vocal with Henry that we wanted lots of tropical colors present. I will confess that I was slightly demanding throughout the process and Henry responded with the utmost professionalism. As a result, we now have a front yard that far exceeds our expectations. Henry also worked tirelessly to meet our timeframe and budgetary requirements. No need to look for a second quote. My girlfriend had to bring this to their attention. They issued a credit. We do not have an irrigation system so service is only supposed to be done before a rainfall. All was going well until Junior (Real name) became our technician. My girlfriend went out and asked if rain was in the forecast and he started arguing and being condescending to her. She spoke to the Sales Manager and the owner who assured her this was unlike Junior. Everyone has a bad day. Today I was home to witness how rude and condescending Junior was. I called Steve at FLCS and he stopped by the same day to walk the property and hear the requirements from the HOA. Steve came up with a thorough proposal that included reusing many bushes, trees, and a cement block retaining wall to keep costs down. Part way through the project it was clear the sprinkler system would have to be replaced. FLCS handled the required county utility check and added the sprinkler system work at a fair price. My sister and I had a few requests near the end of the project and Steve and his crew did everything without any questions.
