I'm not sure how they get their products, maybe what's leftover from/didn't sell at stores likes Lowe's? There was nothing that really caught our eye. Except for the fact that only one employee we saw was wearing a mask. The two in the front, maybe owners(?) weren't wear shields or masks or anything. I bought a evaporative fan and took it home. Tried it out in a small room to see if it would get any cooler. After 3 hours of running on high, the temperature in the room did not lower even one degree. The fan was blowing good , but no signs of cooling. I took it back to get a refund since the cooler portion of it was broken. Mike the manager argued that the fan portion was working (although They never put water in it to check it) and I would only be eligible for a store credit. I returned a fan the next day after I purchased it because the pole was not secured to the base. I too, like others had a problem with "Your Home Discount Warehouse" policy for refunds. One sign says "NO RETURNS OR REFUNDS WITHOUT THE YELLOW RECEIPT; I had my receipt and I expected a refund. Then the cashier points to another sign and proceeded to tell me the first sign was step one and the second sign was step two. I was beginning to wonder if she was giving me dance lessons. I told her that makes no sense at all, and after a few words regarding this discrepancy, I said, OK, fine, give me the credit. At that point, she told me I had an attitude. I simply said, "EXCUSE ME, I'M A CUSTOMER". She backed off a bit, gave me the credit and I went to the tool store and purchased a couple of things from there just to use the $15. Now yes sometimes things are broken... just keep your receipt like any other business!! How do they know where you bought it from without proof! these tools are shipped around so some things might be broken or not working after purchasing but what I recommend is to have them look in the box if they didn't already do that for you which they usually do. If the item that you buy is broken they will give you a refund, if you just don't like it they will give you store credit which I love store credit!! That just means I get to spend my money on tools without the wife yelling at me! Well in all fairness this is a family owned business, they care about everything! Make sure it works before you leave. I had a bad experience and wanted to share I bought a bandsaw because it was a good price along with a nice dual bevel 7 1/4"saw which i needed i didn't need the bandsaw until today and when I removed it from the box to use it didn't work I promptly returned to the store and showed them it wasn't working to my dismay first he tried to tell me that it had been working and was checked at the time of purchase until he found out that the purchase was made 50 days ago then he was all about oh of course sir I would have exchanged it if it had been within 30 days "I have 3 more right here.
