I now know that I took being able to drink tap water for granted, and I miss it. Growing up on the opposite side of the metroplex, I had no idea that the east and NE side of Dallas had issues with their water. What is this box on the side of my new house? Wait, my water has too much sodium, ferrous iron, nitrates, lead, fluoride and organic contaminants!?! Where do I begin to explain how difficult wading through all the information regarding having high quality and clean water was? Why did no one tell me if I moved across town I would need this expensive system? And then to be required to pay a significant amount of hard earned cash towards something I know little about is .. well, extremely difficult for this skeptic to do. Not only that, when researching water purification I constantly ran across forums warning of the business practices in this industry. Who do you trust? Frankly, it was too much during that move-out/move-in week and I had a meltdown. Total and completely. Then I dried my eyes, put my big girl panties on, and turned to Yelp. I will spare you the drama of all those calls, but lemme just say one of them wanted $498 to come and to "service" my equipment and could not tell me what that included because she was simply a scheduler. Huh? No. Then I called Water Event. Every. Single. Interaction. was flawless. I felt heard, respected, cared for, encouraged, and empowered. What a class act company all the way through. The entire team at Water Event has a customer first attitude that this customer appreciates so much! If I have issues with my reverse osmosis system, or need a new filter I will come to them. If I want to upgrade my RainSoft system, these will be the guys I trust to steer me in the right direction and make that happen for the best price. If I ever need to have my RainSoft system serviced this will be the company that I call. If I just have a question about purified water I know what number to dial! Water Event are the water experts. I feel confident about the system I have, how to use it, how to care for it and when to call for help. That kinda makes me my home's water expert, right? The most important thing is I know that the water coming into my home is safe for my family's health and for my wallet. That in itself is priceless. I want to send a special shout out to Terry who went above and beyond, is so extremely knowledgeable and has a passion to share that knowledge, he has such great spirit and a enthusiastic approach. I don't even know where to begin with this review of my experience with Water Event, but here goes: We purchased a new to use home last August which has a full house water softening system from Water Event. At first the communication and service was as one would expect. Call them for an appointment, they come out discuss services needed, and then get things fixed. Fast forward to winter time: water coming out of some of our faucets turned brown. Both myself and my wife had been in contact with Terry. To summarize; Terry determined that we needed to have the salt bed in our tank reset and redone. Simply the next step would be to get a quote. This is where our problem began. Several delayed texts responses and delays from Terry resulted in no quote for the services needed. I spoke with Terry by text and he stated he sent the quote twice. When I asked if I could provide my e-mail so he could send it to me, he stated he had it and that was the last contact I could get from him. Fast forward again to last week. I decided to give this one last go. Called and after speaking with three different people to get to the right person to help me, I was finally directed to Shevonne and was given her contact info to send photos of our system so they wouldn't have to come out to the house. After doing so, she confirmed a need to quote us for a "filter change and possible re-bedding and salt." Fair enough was promised a quote by the next day Friday as it was later in the evening. I had to follow up again the next Tuesday as I had not heard back at all. Received and apology and told she would get on the quote again by tomorrow. Waited two days more and followed up with a final attempt with NO response but I do see on my phone that the text was delivered. I don't know what it takes to have a simple quote or even better appropriate customer care and communication. If our product was not a Water Event Product I would have looked elsewhere long ago. I have never, ever, ever had to jump through so many hoops and practically have to do everything short of driving up there to get a quote (which I would not). I feel that its fair to share our very poor customer experience so that others may stay clear from setting themselves up for a lot of frustration. read more

My doctor, William Tea, MD, who was the best environmental physician in the country, and who tested and investigated several companies' water, recommended them to me. This wonderful man passed away but his clinic still uses water Event. I have been using it for years and I still love it. Given the state of Dallas city water, I definitely think it is worth the money to have clean, healthy, nontoxic water. They have always been great to work with as well. DO NOT WORK WITH THIS COMPANY. I JUST FILED A COMPLAINT WITH THE BBB. I also filed an official complaint with Mountain Valley. I had water delivered twice and for the life of me, I have no idea how their office functions or what type of company they are running. I didn't do research on them before I enrolled which obviously wasn't smart in hindsight. It just never occurred to me that I had to do research before signing up for WATER DELIVERY which is a basic service. I just called Mountain Valley and asked how I could have water delivered and they gave me a phone number to this company. I usually buy Mountain Valley products in bulk from Whole Foods but it's obviously easier to have it delivered to your door than picking it up yourself. When I spoke to multiple Water Event representatives before I enrolled, they told me they had a BUY 2 GET 2 promotion for new customers but in order to take part, you had to have service with them for a whole year and the BUY 2 GET 2 deal is for your first year only. They sent me their flyer for the promotion BUY 2 GET 2 FREE (attached). You can look at it yourself. After my second delivery, they sent me an invoice for almost $100 for 4 bottles of water. I called the company and the representative said they apologize and are "sorry" nobody informed me of the fact that the pricing or "promotion" is for the first time only and the "actual" price is not what I will be charged. The "actual fee" is more than double. Every single representative I spoke to 'just failed' to mention their "promotion" is for the first order. You just "forgot" to mention your "actual" price of service?! I mean are you kidding me? You ALSO "forget" to mention that their "promotion" on applies to your first order ON A MARKETING FLYER?! It makes me sick. Will be switching back to Whole Foods. I hope Mountain Valley terminates their agreement with them and I will be urging them to do so. read more

This is the WORST COMPANY I have EVER DEALT WITH!!!!! They cancel deliveries at will.....miss deliveries....even when they make deliveries on your street. The route managers NOR the Reginal managers has NEVER followed up as promised. I've been trying since the beginning of August to have their water dispenser and empty bottles picked up. But, they even REFUSE to show up to do that.....I love the water but, I will NEVER buy their water or use them again.... I've tried to work with them but, it's takes to MUCH energy to do business with SPARKLETT/ DS WATER....was a customer for 6 months and received decent service 1 MONTH!!!! read more

Always have had great service from them. Michael the delivery person is super friendly and able to be contacted if I forget to leave out my bottles, or out of town. This is the only place in Houston I found the Glass bottles of Mountain Valley Spring water that is deliverable. I'll never go back to drinking anything else if possible--it is that good. read more

We've had several different delivery people, and they have all been polite, courteous, and really personable. This is 1 of the Worst Companies I have ever dealt with. The people who answer the phone are Rude and Unprofessional...act as though they hate their job. They are difficult to work with compared to other Water Delivery services. I finally had enough, called to cancel my account and told them to pick up the Quantity 5 water bottles and Credit my Account of almost $100. The Driver picked up the bottles on 1/23/2019. As of 2/12/2019 and Water Event has still not Credited my Account and when I called said it would take 4-6 weeks before I will receive my Credit....why? I purchased a RO system from Water Event almost 3 years ago. In the past few days, I noticed there was a constant draining of water from the RO system into the drain pipe. I called and left two separate voice mails with Water Event on two different days asking for a call back. As of this writing, I have not received any call back. Water Event may be selling great products but their services, especially returning calls in a timely manner, isn't much to be desired of. I have no complaints about the product, but there is very little relationship between the date on the email they send telling you when you will receive your bottled water and the date that the delivery is made. I have explained to them over and over that I must be present when the delivery is made, and that I wait for them ----- all day------ to get the water, and these calls make no difference. The email says they will be at my house on a certain day, and no one shows up, I call and fuss, and they say it will be the next day, and I wait for the show up on the next day, and, again, no show. When my aunt moved from Arkansas to Texas recently the one thing she thought she would have to leave behind was her Mountain Valley Spring Water. I went to the internet and quickly found a place called Water Event that serviced her area. Since she was placed in an assisted living facility I was uncertain how the delivery would go but I was contacted almost immediately to confirm my delivery for the following Monday morning and explained our needs. The driver called me on his way there Monday morning so I knew just when they'd be arriving which made it so much easier.
