With the hard water in Dallas ruining my appliances, faucets, and horrible on our skin and hair, we were kinda forced to get a water treatment system. So far everything works properly. Installation was great. I love the app, which helps me keep track of the system. We also got the reverse osmosis system which gives us instant purified drinking water. The damage their water softener system has done to my home at this point is causing it to be a major health concern with water damage. They "fixed" some of the issues from water damage (replaced carpet and baseboards) and then completely stopped communicating with me after. I've sent messages to the manager letting her know my system is leaking once again. I feel scammed. Paid $1600 in 2022 for under counter RO system and waterline to ice maker. Cost for annual service visit to replace filters is $209. Meanwhile, no transparency of quality of water, just told to go off of taste. The system takes up 2/3 of the cabinet space. Each visit, the tech makes some bone headed mistake. I wish I would've just bought a system like Waterdrop 800 that is slim and gives real time TDS readings or even a countertop system like Bluevua. read more

We setup our appointment through the phone from Costco. I can not recall who was our sales rep was, but I would say overall he was good, but he does repeat a lot of stuff in his speech which made his pitch seem like forever and it was for about an hour and my wife and I were like saying in our head when can we get to the price. Then for the hard water test, there was ink that spilled on our granite counter and we did not seal it yet and we tried to get it off, but no use and tried too, so watch out for that. He does need to update his slides as it is from 2007. Anyways we finally got to the price and it was $6900 for the water softener and the filtration system, but they were running a $200 dollar discount for that weekend. It was more than the Rainsoft system we bought in Rancho Cordova, CA as we only got the water system itself for $4000.00 plus we got a free 5 year supply of cleaning supplies. The plus side is that there is only 1 tank to worry about, while Rainsoft had 2 tanks, one of the salt and the other to mix stuff. Why we paid $1500 for the filter, I guess at that time he said because it cleans out all of the chlorine and the Rainsoft guy did not even pitch us the water filter system. If I had a time machine, I probably would not have wanted it. We all make that mistake one time as there is a big gallon tank that takes up half of the sink and unfortunately with this house we need as much storage space as it is limited. I also used my Costco credit card for this and paid it off right away, so you get more discounts at the every end. The good news is they work really fast. They ended up scheduling the appointment just in time as we told the sale's rep if we can move the date as unfortunately I had to work and my wife was flying back at a later date. They did call us just in time. They installed the system within a couple of hours and my Costco card came in which was $575 dollars after 7 days after the install. The water filtration system works as it helped me not have to rely on bottled water when I went there to clean the house. We have not taken a shower there yet, but we will though. Talk about an amazing experience with a very professional and knowledgable team. From the initial information (Thru the Costco program), the Ecowater team was there to assist and make the process a breeze. We had a representative come to our house to review all aspects. During the scheduling, another representative came to do a site visit to ensure the plan would work with our house. Then came installation day. The installation team brought a small army with them, finished in less than an hour, and left zero trace they were even there. The installers are seriously the best at what they do. We have already noticed a HUGE different in our water, and can't believe we actually drank and used North Texas water out of the tap. EcoWater is the way to go if you want better water, top of the line quality, and the best team around to support you. read more

After spending (over the years) $30,000+ with this company, I called to ask for something they do all the time- teeing off a line running to my R/O tank to a refrigerator less than 10 feet away. I was told the Project Manager couldn't do it but with no explanation why they could not --they installed my entire system--no issues when they were getting to install a $10K system, ironically!! This used to be a great company under a different owner. Will never buy anything from these people again!! read more

We could not be more pleased with this company. We had them install a system in 2022. From sales to installation they were very professional! We just got our first yearly service and they were most helpful and did a great job. I see where way in the past they got some negative reviews on here. All I can say here is based on the experience we've had I would recommend them to friends and family. And what a difference the system makes! read more

I am really disappointed with the terrible customer service. First of all, the salesperson did not communicate to me clearly how much the price was. He kept explaining all the rebates I could get and the "real price" after all the rebates, credit card points, and savings, but never once told me how much I would be charged upfront. After promising no installation cost, he called me several days later asking for additional payment for hiring an electrician. When I refused payment, he said he would cover the cost. It turns out no electrician came and one was not needed when the installation was made. When installing the equipment, the crew hit the pipe next to my water meter (the plumber I hired later showed me the dent and the leak), causing a water leak that I found out after they left. A service manager promised he would fix the leak, then came to my house to say it was not their fault and I should find a plumber to fix it. Finally, I was promised a post-installation water quality check by the sales guy and the service manager several weeks ago. Nobody came and nobody called. When I called them, the answer I got was "oh, we have someone who will call you". Still waiting... read more

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! THEY ARE VERY RUDE AND ARROGANT! It took this water company several days to contact me. In the meantime, their RUDE representative Maya or Maija was very rude, condesending and cocky. She has no customer services skills and a "I don't care attitude". If this is how the company is represented before I even get information, my advice is to stay away. I am a Costco Member and I have already contacted the Costco Office to inform them of how this person is representing them. If I were you, I would contact another water company. Very professional. Did what they said they would and clean up after themselves. Outstaning customer service, called at 5:15 PM expecting to leave a voice mail and I actually got a live person who took my request. Within fifteen minutes I received a return call from Craig to set up an appointment for the following day. Not only was Craig on time, he was actually early by ten minutes and had already analyized samples. My water conditions were explained in detail as was the type of equipment and installation necessary to achieve my desired objective. Way too expensive. Service is so slow. Don't acknowledge salt problems. High cost to repair even with maintenance contract. They don't show up on any of the nation consumer top rating. Look else where. read more
