We went with a group and took our 4 and 7 year old on the Junior Ropes course. They LOVED it. It was high enough that they got to do really cool obstacles and zip lines but low enough that us adults could help from the ground if needed. There were also like 6 different course they could do...and do again and again. It was so simple too because you hook them on at the beginning and they stay connected the entire time until they are done with that course. My niece wanted to do a Ropes Course so I was happy to find TreeRunner. Online registration was easy. FAQs were on point. Multiple courses available depending on age and abilities. Quick instructional meeting and practice spot before they let you go on the bigger courses. My niece was 12 (we went in June) and is smaller for her age but she had no issues maneuvering through 4 of the courses, she could have done more but we were getting tired and hungry. Even my plump middle aged perimenopausal behind was able to do 2 of the courses. BTW: I'm afraid of heights so doing 2 was a big win for me. The location was pretty, with chairs and tables to chill out and watch other climbers from the ground. They definitely had enough staff so help was never too far away if needed. read more

The staff did a good job with the demo at the beginning. Our party was 6 people ranging age 8 to 59 and there was something for everyone -- we were all challenged and had a great time. The kids were able to do their clips independently. We had to cut our visit short because of rain but they were very accommodating offering a rain voucher to complete the visit. Brought my daughter for her 10th birthday and she and her older brother had a blast. There are plenty of courses at all levels, and I think they did every single one they were allowed to. Staff was helpful and professional, and ready to help from the ground if someone got "stuck". Not too long of wait times for the more popular/easier courses. Mosquitoes were bad though. Not the park's problem, and it's in the woods. There's supposed to be bugs. Just need to bring the bug spray next time. read more

The course was great. We waited 40 minutes to check in at the yurt. There was a line to the door, with one young guy working. He radioed for help & was told no one was available. Our reservation was for 2pm yet we didn't get to climb until after 3pm. They extended our time by 20 minutes however we had an appt elsewhere so we couldn't stay longer. It was very expensive for a 2 hour session. There was a shortage of staff in every area. Not a good experience. We should have been issued a partial refund or a voucher for future climb time. read more

What a fun experience! Went with our 2 young kids (6 and 8) and did the junior course area. They harness the kids and do a quick tutorial and the kids can basically hook themselves up to every course (roughly 6 in totally) sooo much fun. Obstacles and zip lines they can do over and over! All about 2-5ft off the ground. Definitely recommend and want to come back to do the higher/larger courses myself! read more

We played on the miniature golf course in the middle of the complex: The pro: The course was in the woods and in a beautiful setting. The cons: 1. The course is very uneven - it's mini golf so you expect some obstacles along the way, but this course had construction obstacles - the concrete below the artificial grass was not nearly as level as expected. 2. The carpet bunched up in spots on several holes, making play more difficult. 3. We played on an early October evening, and leaves started falling. All 18 holes had a fair amount of leaves and acorns on them. It did not look like the staff had tended to the holes all day. The beautiful setting does not outweigh the drawbacks, and we do not plan to return. read more

This was my second time there. These tickets were part of a family Christmas present and we all had a great time. They have many courses. We were there for 3 hours and could not do them all. They range from beginner to expert level. The staff gives you a safety brief and then you are allowed to go at your own pace. The annoying part is when you get stuck behind someone who won't move if they are scared and it backs up the line. We got stuck for a very long time on an easier path and it created a 10+ person backlog. Overall we had a great time and everyone said they wanted to go back another time. read more

DON'T LET THE RAIN KEEP YOU AWAY I bought my nieces and nephew gift cards for Christmas, and I was finally able to organize a few so we could go. Planned the outing for a sunny Friday mid-morning and, of course, woke up to rain! Got the girls together (10yo-15yo) and after a brief discussion we decided to give it a try. You may end up soaked, but the kids said they barely even noticed the rain once they were under the canopy! They had a blast and once I dropped them off at their homes; they were begging their parents to go back soon! Staff was very helpful and kind. And you will see your kids grow and problem solve right before your eyes! Just do it... it's worth every penny (and there's no way they can do this and be on their phone the entire time! Awesome experience! They have courses for all levels, and it's all self guided. Their safety equipment makes it impossible to mess up. You always have at least one safety cable connected, and it won't let you disconnect it without connecting another one. They also have excellent customer service. When booking online, however, I had an option to add on the new putt putt golf.... good thing I didn't because the course was NOT ready and workers were working on it while we were up in the trees. Loud dozers dumping dirt and rock throughout the course. Made it hard to enjoy the nature and hear my kids over the noise. Don't really care that they are working on the course while the park was open to visitors, but glad I didn't pay extra for something that wasn't ready to use. Place was all right, but all of the zip lines stopped at about 3/4 of the way for both me and my son. This wasn't a major issue for myself, but my son was unable to do the hand over hand rope pulling to get to the end and had to be rescued every time. Weather stopped us after a couple of the elements, but we're excited to go back - was super fun and easy to start! Side note: the porta john on the way in didn't have toilet paper. Since everyone had to park offsite and get shuttled in, it took a lot longer to get there. Each group that entered the park told the gals doing the harness fittings, who were not busy most of the time, that toilet paper was needed. They ignored each person who told them. They never called anyone to take care of it - nor did they seem to care. The manager took care of it hours later when yet another person told the manager. It shouldn't take 2 hours and a manager to load TP! read more

An overall wonderful experience, tiring if you're doing it all correctly, but you still get the most within 3-4 hours. Bree and Kathleen were wonderful greeters and trainers throughout the beginning of the process. They had great energy and they do a job that requires quite some patience, but quite well. The entire safety concept about the tressle and the locks is great. Even if you're negligent, it would be difficult to get hurt. The only thing that's frustrating, but also not much you can do is the safety procedure taking anywhere between 25-35 minutes - but that counts against your total 3 hour time... so you're already losing 30 minutes without starting. That is my main grievance and the fact that the "drinking fountain" looks like a water hose sprouting from the ground and the bathroom is a port-a-potty, but outside of that, this is a phenomenal place and excited to go back again & again. read more

The staff is very accommodating and helpful. From the quick and easy check in process with our large group (15 people) to the help in the trees. When our girls got stuck and needed help, there was a staff member close by to get them moving again. The park manager was constantly helping people get their coolers and heavy items transported in and out of the park. He even transported me to my car. Are you looking for an activity where you will get an instant adrenaline rush? Here's the place to go! For under $70 you'll get your ticket and a purchased pair or gloves for your adventure. Being outdoors in nature is always a great experience. After picking up your climbing gear. You start off at the briefing station where they will give you a run down of the safety protocols, how to properly put on your gear and how to use the various pieces attached to your harness. You use these clips to attach yourself to the cable wires running throughout the obstacle course. Once you hear the click & lock of your clips you're on your way to start your adventure. There are different levels of difficulty and height; they go by different colored courses. Being it was my first time I started on a yellow course, followed by a blue & purple one. Each course gets a little bit more difficult, where you have to use a combination of strength, balance & agility. In the beginning, I was definitely in my head and wanting to turn back lol. Obviously there's no turning back and it gives you the right amount of kick in your butt, especially when there is another climber eagerly waiting after you to finish that part of the course! This activity is definitely great to push yourself beyond your boundaries, making you put away your phone and focus on the task at hand. It was a lot of fun and honestly I would want to go back to try it again. It's like nothing I've ever experience before. It would be even more fun by bringing a larger group of people next time around! I gave it 4 stars only because the bathroom were porta potty. Update the bathroom and I will give this place 5 stars. And the instructor was terrible. I clearly had the harness on wrong, but he refuse to help me. Omg. But when my daughter had her The location was perfect too. Had a great time, staff was friendly, pre training and practice time covered the basics. The equipment was fine and gloves are a must. Kids had a blast for the 3 hours and were able to make 2 paths each hour. We went in the morning so hardly any people on the course. You get three hours for around $40, no finger gloves are another $6 ( you want the gloves). All of the main courses start from the center of the park. You have to be under 265lb to climb and in some shape to do the more advanced courses. The harness system is safe and easy to use... the kids picked up on the hook, un hook, hook again very quickly. Plenty of places to sit to watch the action. You don't have to climb for them to go up. If they are under 18 you will need to climb for them to do the really hard courses. If it gets busy like it did past noon the kids did have to wait often as only one person is allowed at a time on each challenge and only 3 on each platform in the trees. On the longer courses you can easily burn 45 minutes if there are too many people. Dress appropriately, good closed toe shoes with traction, long sleeve shirt and pants, sweats, joggers. I mean your climbing trees then working around steel cables and maneuvering obstacles on some of the courses all while wearing a climbing harness. Bring snacks and stuff to drink. Dress for the weather, your climbing in trees. There is no shelter where the people are climbing. You can not drop kids off and leave them. The staff did great about asking my group where I was before they let them go up again. I'm perfectly fine with that, they are not there to babysit your kids. My daughter got stuck only once when her zip line pulley got jammed. She yelled "Staff" as instructed during the training, a young lady close by who was teaching paused her class, came right over and helped my daughter get unstuck. She was polite, explained they normally have a log to step up on to help lift the pulley off the cable. Poof back to playing. At another point in the park a woman ahead of my kids reached her limit and just wanted down from a higher course. In a short time they made there way to her up in the tree, set up gear and lowered her to the ground. No ridicule, no keep going your almost done, just went up and brought her down! Kudos for constant professionalism. The price point was fine, I was good with $44 for the 3 hours as it was not crowded. If it was crowded and the kids only completed one course an hour and had to wait a ton on the platforms I would not be so inclined. We made reservations and showed up 30 min early to get all the check-in stuff completed. They were able to get fitted and start the required class early and had pretty much the entire 3 hours to climb. Will definitely be going back read more
