They are one of the few spots in the city that carry the locally made brand NicQuid which is another reason why they are worth making the trip for. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and seem to enjoy what they do and will take time to show you different products and it doesn't ever feel like they are trying to up-sell you. The quality of their product was much higher than the e-cig she'd tried a few years ago, and provided a quality feeling on her throat. After a few puffs, she decided this might be a good solution, so we had to go check them out. The place is set up for people to come in, try various flavors, talk to the staff, and relax a bit on the couches after they finish to enjoy their purchases. I was really impressed at how the staff walks new customers through the different vaporizers, tanks, and batteries they offer, sampling flavors at their "bar" to figure out what you liked and feels best when used. Once you decide what you want, they even show you how to set up, prime, and reload the wick and tank to get the best life out of your vape. The personal attention each customer gets is really impressive. If you've considered buying or trying, I'd absolutely reccomend them. Even better, the prices are really, really reasonable. I fully expected to spend $75-100, and she walked out with a starter kit that contained a high capacity battery, charger, wick, tank, and a couple bottles of liquid that she'd picked out for $50. The 10ml bottles generally run $6-10, new tanks / wicks are $6-7, and larger 30ml bottles go for $15-30. I'm not a smoker, so I can't say that this will work for everyone, but she's been vaping for two weeks now, and hasn't smoked a cigarette since she started. Pretty dramatic change from a pack a day habit, and even if we need to go back for more liquid in a few weeks, we're still saving a ton of money. Located on the busy corner of High St. and 5th Ave., this smoke shop is currently off the beaten path due to construction, but provides nothing short of helpful, attentive service. Street parking doesn't exist in this area of the Short North right now, but here in a few months it should be available again. Until then, there's a small parking lot across the street, right next to BrewDog. I made the quick trek across the street, dodging construction workers and makeshift ramps to be greeted immediately. At a quick glance, I noticed they had what I needed but I browsed around for a minute too. They really offer everything you need if you're a smoker of any kind. From large glass bongs to vape pens and everything in between (yes, there's a lot in between), they've got it. Their prices are on par with what I've seen at other similar establishments too.
