I called for them, among other HVAC businesses, to visit and send me an bid to install a new air-conditioning system for my home. After viewing my home and their set-up requirements the sent me their bid and installation date. Their price was the most favorable by $XXX so because of son's recommendation and their price, I selected them instead of my long time HVAC contractors. I was not disappointed!!! They were on time, efficient, quiet, clean cut, knowledgeable and worked briskly. They developed on the job work-arounds and never skipped a beat. The office staff, estimator and installation team were so darned nice and polite that they were all a joy to work with. We called Roses who took care of everything we needed. They relocated the water heater to our mechanical room and re-routed all plumbing and electrical. Plumbed in a water softener and whole house filter we already purchased and ran a new gas line to our oven. They were very efficient and work was awesome. If I had to do it over I would have specified copper piping, but our budget was tight with all of the work we needed to have done right away after moving in. They had "specialists" for each, the plumbing, gas line and electrical. These guys worked in unison, everything was fault free and did a great cleanup after they were done. We plan to have the piping replaced with copper at a later date and will be calling them back out to take care of that when it's time. Great work without breaking your wallet.

Rather than mill up their mistake and resurface the drive correctly, Slonaker's poorly patched up the mess. Now, almost three years later, it looks terrible. New cracks emerge all the time. Other contractors estimate that the $5,130 Slonaker paving job is going to cost us up to $25,000 to fix. I cannot recommend Slonaker. Addendum: The owner has replied to my initial review and fabricated details about a tree being the cause for cracks. This is inaccurate, and certainly would not account for asphalt cracking all over the driveway, or the uncured "goo" in several locations on the drive. Plus, the job was under warranty, as per the contract. As for his crew spilling sealant all over the street in front of my neighbor's home, I'm surprised he admitted to it. I had not even mentioned that episode in an effort to keep my review focused on the major issue. But my neighbor was furious, and the incident is another example of Slonaker's bungling. The crew, who arrived six hours late, decided that hosing down the spilled sealant with water, which flowed into, and fouled, Craig's Run, was the ideal way to deal with the situation. We are very disappointed. We stand by my original conclusion: we cannot recommend Slonaker's.
