First, I was booked in with the wrong type of professional. That ended up being a waste of time and caused delay in my orthodontic treatment, but one mistake is no big deal. Unfortunately there's more. I was then booked in with the right professional and charged a full fee, because this was the second consultation (even though they had made a mistake). This professional thoroughly examined my mouth, and then while we were talking he asked "you don't have any wisdom teeth left, do you?". That was very concerning since I have a clearly visible wisdom tooth. Of course I wasn't going to work with this person, so I booked in with another specialist and paid the price they quoted. Then, two days before my appointment, they asked me for more money (about double what I paid) and refused to see me without the extra payment. You can't quote a price and then ask for more money after the patient agrees, so I asked for a refund. I also asked to speak to the practice manager and after 10 days I haven't been contacted. This has also caused months of delay in my orthodontic treatment.

The miss information across the dentists in the practise is beyond belief. When I questioned them about this I was told " well dentists have difference of opinions". I could possibly accept that however when it involves removing some of my my teeth you would have thought they would agree. If you go to a doctor they don't quibble not like these cowboys. I spent a fortune with them what a waste of money. Their work was so bad that when I went on holiday for two weeks I ended up in a French dentist twice with the dentists commenting on how bad the workmanship was on my teeth, this was two separate dentists. Don't go there.

I've never had a thing against dentists until I experienced this abysmal service. Spoiler alert: it…read moreends with the dentist drilling into my tooth to put a filling in, me crying with pain and waving my hands for it to stop and him just carrying on. I came here after going to a private dentist somewhere else that same week for issues with my jaw and wisdom teeth. Obviously I shouldn't expect too much from the NHS but it really felt pointless going to him. He had an initial look in my mouth and check of teeth then he made me do another scan which was inconclusive. He couldn't tell me anything about my wisdom teeth. I showed him the scan from the other dentist and he said if I wanted to get my wisdom teeth removed, he'd refer me to a surgeon. He didn't advise me at all if I needed to get them removed. After insisting loads on hearing his opinion on my wisdom teeth he FINALLY said that I needed a small filling in another tooth which would cost me £90. Thanks for not answering my question at all. I went back to get my 'small filling' which turned out to be a horrendous experience. I've had many fillings in my life and never have I had such terrible treatment. First he injected my gums without telling me what to expect. Then I got told after getting the injection that I should have eaten first, then they commenced with the filling. He gave me no indication of what to expect, how to tell him if it hurts etc. At one point I could feel he was touching the nerve and it started to be really painful so I was frowning and flinching, then it got really painful so I waved my hands frantically and started to cry. He continued to drill and a bit later stopped and said 'It's ok, we're done with the drilling now.' By the end I wanted to burst into tears and was shaking from a simple filling. He said 'ok we're done now, it was actually quite a deep filling which is why we touched the nerve.' That would have been useful to know during the procedure. Overall, never going back there unless I get a different dentist. I seriously think he needs to go to be trained in patient care.

Not a great dentist if you can see through the funky decor in the reception. They do offer NHS and…read moreprivate services, but the quality of care does seem to vary. Don't expect any sympathy with symptoms, you are rushed in and rushed out Had a filling done here which got severly infected and the dentist did not care at all when I went back 2 weeks later to complain of pain! Not impressed at all, would not recommend!

On my first appointment I was given stage by stage written guidance. Whilst having my treatment for a sinus lift and the insertion of the implant, Dr Martin Wanendeya was excellent. He kept me informed of each action carried out during the surgery and I was given useful aftercare advice and guidance. The next day, a member of staff phoned to see if everything was OK. Very impressed with the customer care and service I received. My next appointment is in November. I would definitely recommend Ten Dental and especially Dr Wanendeya, Thank you for taking good care of me. Ms P Bhatt
