This is their second year managing here and the state of disrepair and negligence is closely nearing next level. The staff who handles phone calls are rude to many and the guys who inspect the apartments once a year are especially wordy about people below their economic class line while gloating about the land they own in Florida. It is truly unfortunate that tenants living in Wisconsin don't have more protections and safety nets. The people at Murphy Development only know one god. And that god would be money.

One bedrooms don't get a storage locker so garage became storage. Two bedrooms get a storage locker across the hall from apartment. There is no basement. Location is very nice. Quiet, albeit your backyard is Hwy 172 @ I-41. They built a noise barrier wall which helps but now the view isn't fantastic. Neighborhood includes a retirement community, church and nearby high school. Blocks from Oneida Street, banks, restaurants, and the mall. No dishwasher in unit, on-site laundry consisted of 1 washer and 1 dryer and the dryer took two cycles to dry cottons. A/C in the living room instead of bedroom. Maintenance takes A LONG TIME to fix stuff. Averages 1-2 weeks after request put in. Examples: my air conditioner was broken. Dials fell off and front plastic cover wouldn't stay on. Submitted a work order. They replaced the dials and that was it. Garage door wouldn't lock. Maintenance took 4 weeks to fix. I was lied to upon application regarding power to the garage. Was told it would be put in in the future by one of the landlords - Gary. The lady at the office who answers phone calls has ZERO customer service skills - treats you like garbage. Summary - If you're looking for a quiet, safe neighborhood and keep to yourself, this is a great place. Just pray nothing breaks cuz you'll be waiting a while before anything is taken care of.

The 1st time was when temps dipped lower than -20. Yes NEGATIVE 20. The property provided a space heater which was very insufficient to adequately heat the apartment. Heat is included in my lease. Because I was without heat I asked for a credit on my rent payment. The property denied the request. After the 3rd time of the heat not working the property offered me a $20 credit on my rent. I've been without heat for 7 full days in 2019 and felt $20 did not properly account for the lack of heat- especially since heat is part of my lease agreement.

If I call for something to be taken care of like wasp nests or a garage door not opening they are out there that day. If I have lease questions they may have to call me back but they do...that day. I've had to be late on rent a few times just for basic life things coming up, and while I did owe the $40 fee they were very pleasant, no questions asked. It's embarrassing to have to do so that was a relief. I will say a big downside is that their office is only open Monday - Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and that consists of less than 40 hours a week...not very convenient.

I requested they send a service out to clean up the individual's blood on the concrete in our parking lot. THEY NEVER CAME, And the ground was stained. Imagine having to walk around that every single day on your way out of your apartment. Every time you pull out of your parking spot or go on a walk, you are reminded of what you also witnessed, which was the case for my partner and I. Now- there were many other things going on in this apartment building that we're not being addressed. From a tenant housing a sexual offender off the lease, to neighbors violating quiet hours on a daily basis for the two years we lived there and NOTHING being done.. this fully impacted my partner.
