Your only hunting choice is to sit in a ground blind from daylight to dark in hopes that a turkey will walk be. I realize that it it hunting and not killing but this is not my kind of turkey hunting. We paid for a 3 day hunt and left half way through the second day because we had not seen nor heard 1 turkey during our hunt (2 people). I give the accommodations 1/2 of a star.

The cabin assigned was pretty bad -- old propane stove with no pilot light, no matches, & ran out of propane through our second meal. (Obviously, nobody checked the tank.) Sign by the only toilet, "our septic tank isn't working well, so deposit your used toilet paper in the wastebasket beside the toilet." 2 days later you can imagine how it smelled! I DO NOT recommend this place ever.

I've never hired a guide and I've had many friends talk about disappointing experiences. I'm bragging about these guys to all of my hunting buddies. They absolutely delivered! We got into tons of hogs each night. We shot 8 and we missed several, but that's our fault. Really cool dudes who know what they're doing and worked their butts off all 3 nights. These are NOT PENNED HUNTS. Longest stalk we pulled was 1200 yards. Totally recommend hunting with these guys. Can't wait to go back!

Texas was beautiful. I was referred to them by a friend. Very professional and very fun. These guys know what hunting is all about. We chose to hunt some Texas hogs and whitetail. The guides were great. The whole experience is one that I will never forget. If I wasn't tied up to my business in Florida, I'd move out here!! But for the guys at Prone Outfitters, I want to thank you all for an awesome experience. Nothing in the world like it. I've been wanting to hunt in Texas for two decades. Great place to hunt for hogs. We came down in June from Colorado so it was a little hot and…read moreovergrown but we had a blast hunting over feeders and spot and stalk. The walk-in cooler was a huge help keeping the hogs cool in the heat. We opted to stay at the bunkhouse on site which was comfortable and had everything we needed, just be sure to bring your own bedding. Rusty was very helpful getting us situated and checked in on us to make sure we were getting hogs. He was also prompt in responding to our needs (ran out of TP etc). If you come here, you will get hogs.
