Went for Blanton's and they had it in stock! The workers were very nice and helpful. They had a lot of other bourbon and whiskey. Other spirits were limited, but a few options of each. They also had a decent selection of beer, wine, and seltzers. Fairly priced. read more

Waterfront Wine & Spirits is a little gem in Louisville. They have all the hard to find allocated whiskies, of course you have to be willing to pay the up charge on those bottles too. Waterfront also has your regular whiskies at not so badly prices. One cool option here is the tasting bar, which allows you to taste those expensive whiskies before you pull the trigger and buy them. read more

Owner was great, but make no mistake, this place is charging secondary prices for popular bottles. You can do better elsewhere.

Distillery tours aside, we had our best tastings here at the bar and bought a couple of harder to find bottles at very reasonable prices. This is a hidden gem of downtown slightly off the beaten path, and we had a fantastic time chatting it up with another customer. Amine, one of the owners, was also incredibly hospitable and shared his wealth of knowledge about bourbon. We will be back! read more

Dope place. One of the better locally owned liquor stores in the whole city. - Great Selection of wine. They have it separated by region and type. France, Spain, California, Australia... And then go from there. NOTE: If you're a vegan, they have their vegan wines labeled. So you know that you're drinking a vegan wine. - Good bourbon selection. Not an unreal selection, but a good one. And they have a couple of store picks, which is cool. - There's a tasting bar, so you can taste something before you buy it. Terrific. - Legit beer selection. Imports and craft. Fantastic wine and spirit shop! I love the attentive service that I have received every time I've visited the store. They have a wide variety of wines that cover many price points - something for every occasion! In addition to the wines, they have a selection of fine bourbons, including some that are difficult to find. The atmosphere is great, with cute tables set up adjacent to full length windows providing a nice view of Waterfront park. It's a great place to have a glass of wine and hang out for a while. The owners are eager to help and very knowledgeable, and helped me sort through their large selection to find the right bottle for me. This is my go to place for a special bottle of wine or bourbon! I don't write reviews ever. I'm just not a social media person. This place is an exception for me. I was traveling from California looking to enjoy Kentucky bourbon. I was attending a concert at the waterfront and stopped in with my wife who loves wine. What we discovered was an establishment that catered to both our tastes. The two owners were exceptional. They not only showed us what Kentucky had to offer at a wonderful price, they had beautiful wines from all our favorite regions. I cannot say enough about the friendly welcome we received. Amin and Steve (the owners) didn't oversell us. In fact they displayed Kentucky's real value bourbons and we tasted the expensive ones too. How fun it was. Thank you guys. If your a traveler or a local, you're wise to stop in. We went to 20 wonderful bars in Kentucky but it was the Waterfront Wine and Spirits that was wonderfully memorable. Have visited Waterfront Wine & Spirits a couple of times since their opening and have enjoyed it tremendously each time. Took a couple of friends with us last time and their reaction was the same. Steve and Amine are great at making wine recommendations - and what a perfect atmosphere to relax, have a glass of wine and enjoy a river view.
