Let me start by saying a "5 stars" rating isn't high enough!! I had been looking for someone to install a recycled power pole. It was very important to my husband whom is a disabled Veteran my husband can proudly fly the America flag and the Marine Corp flag. Consumers energy left us an old power pole & said they would come back but never did. So, we searched but we couldn't find anyone to set it. Trust me I looked. Then comes this AMAZING Godly, Veteran supporting Company who did it as a showing of their appreciation to him for his Service to this Country. At no charge to us!! Many folks can say " thank you for your service", and that is so very much appreciated but to put those words in action, PRICELESS and healing!! Let me just say, they were outstanding. They sent a crew of 3. They had an auger to drill the hole 7 feet deep. Then this huge machine also switched out  to lift this beast of a pole in the air, place iit gingerly into the hole. Then, they took a level to make sure it was perfect!! They truly have attention to detail in their work. They were so kind and professional and very well coordinated in the art, yes art of setting this huge pole. The foreman Gary was excellent. The assistants Liz and Andrew were extremely efficient and so very kind. They needed the water hose inorder to set the pole and Andrew actually hung it up on the pump!! He left it better than he found it! We would like to thank them from the bottom of our hearts. It is hard for a Military wife to see her husband suffer. It is very nice to see him physically supported in tangible acts of service. They put their words in action!! We would like to thank the owners of the very special company. Where do we start?!?! Every single step of the way through our process of consultation, selecting, and install was amazing! STOP looking NOW! Waters Edge Dock and Hoist is your team!! Waters Edge Dock and Hoist goes ABOVE AND BEYOND. You cannot and find a company with this type of service anymore. We are still having a difficult time wiping away the smiles :). We called to schedule an appointment, with a pretty immediate response; we had a date set with Andrew to come out according to our schedule. At this time we shared our ideals with Andrew in which he added in his professional suggestions. We were able to plan our Lift, Dock/ Type and location with no rushed feeling. Andrew was extremely knowledgeable and provided excellent advise. Within a day we had multiple quotes per our request for purchase comparisons. We went back and forth with some of our decisions and Andrew replied extremely fast. We were able to make a decision on our Lift, Dock, Jet Ski ramp along with our installation date and move forward....it was that easy! No messing around. Exceptional customer service and everything that Andrew indicated that he was going to do- he did! The best team ever came out and worked to get everything completed in one day. We have a very mucky bottom so we had some challenges. The team never gave up and were very persistent in completing the job. We let the Lift settle slightly and they came back out a few days later to make some final adjustments. They still couldn't get it to set right, so they brought their machines back out, lifted the Lift back up, built the platform that they needed to make it right! Beautiful!! Products are top notch! Positive: Professionalism, Quality, Responsiveness, Value I needed a sea wall badly and I was given this company's number by a good friend. I had a lot of special requirements. Waters edge said they could handle anything I could throw at them. They didn't lie. I was amazed at what we watched. 1. The crew each had a full skill set including front loader, barge captain and welding experts. They were personable, ON TIME, respectful of my property and maybe the hardest working team I've seen. 2. The process was really something to watch. From the giant barge bringing the supplies and front loader to the relatively quiet driving of the tall steel panels to the expert welding beads along the cap, it was a perfect system. They used my friend's driveway barely and gifted him with a new, graded driveway with high end decorative gravel for their trouble. First Class! 3. Initially I thought it was pretty pricey, but when they were finished, I really thought I got the best end of this deal. A bargain for the work put in. This company did so many extras and were so focused on detail, that we're more than satisfied. My property looks better than when they started. They graded the backfill so smoothly, I don't need a landscaper to fix anything, including raking and seeding. That saved me good money. 4. Communication was perfect as well. I was given phone access to the foreman, front office and crew. They were extremely reactive to any inquiry I had. From the sale to the execution, I was well informed and there were no surprises. The price didn't go up a penny. In a time when companies are so busy and unresponsive, Water's Edge shines above the rest. I'll put my reputation on the line and recommend them with full confidence. We purchased a new boat at the Novi boat show and the salesman recommended Andy from Waters Edge for a new dock. Always suspicious, we walked by other dock companies and met Andy. I got home and spoke to neighbors and called a couple of dock companies. I called and asked for timeframes, 2 companies started by saying they have regular customers, rain is affect their schedule etc. I called Andy he said May 13 if ordered by the end of the week. He came out for measurements and had a price list by the end of the day. I decided base on professionalism and his efficiency. On May 13 his team showed up, his team, including Nate worked until sunset, got most of the dock in for boat delivery, needed a couple of additional pieces and parts and said they would be back in a couple of days. They were back in a couple of days and finished. I had no problem with the return, unlike some of the trades I have used Waters Edge hit every timeframe they communicated. After using the dock and boat for a couple weeks there was a section I wasn't happy with, contacted Andy and he said no problem he would be out in a week to make it right. So me and my partner went for a walk this morning came back and decided to take the boat out for a ride. The tweaks that were to be done next week were completed and perfect. Didn't even know they had come and gone. Unbelievable service, great communication and solid materials, you may be able to find a "cheaper" deck, not sure because I didn't price shop, but if I could get other trades to be this good I would be a very happy man. read more

Waters Edge Boat Hoist and install services are excellent. Andrew promised a date for delivery and a professional install team. All promises were met or exceeded! The install team was courteous and professional. The hoist install barge was impressive to say the least.
