Store my trailer each year with Nick always helpful and friendly would recommend this location to everyone

Owner sold me a trailer jack for $165, used it for one month before it failed. He would not refund or replace citing it was already out of the box and used! Of course it is out of the box and used! That's how I found it was defective! Owner did not take care of his customer and didn't seem too concerned about doing so. Will not go back.... Told him so, to which he replied, "OK." Excellent experience. I called about getting my boat an oil change and winterized for the end of season. They have very convenient hours for drop off. My wife dropped off the boat on her way to work and the staff helped her un hitch the trailer. A few days later we got the call our boat was ready for pick up. I received email itemized billing that was less than quoted. I paid in store during pick up. Sandy and one of the technicians were very friendly and helpful and answered all my questions. read more

Nicest most helpful people for storage and service Fair pricing. Its widely commented on they don't work on boats past a certain age. Do your due diligence on that fact before you complain about it here. read more

Rented a pontoon on a weekend afternoon. Nice boat. Fantastic experience. Great people.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Unless you are interested in getting screamed at over the phone, not having your boat delivered to the location that was agreed upon (x2) and the worst customer service experience ever. The boss of the company won't even let you get a word in without interrupting and telling you not to tell him how to do his job. So rude, and NOT customer friendly AT ALL. We paid a lot of money to have our boat stored here, and I can assure you we will NEVER use this company again. We live on a lake and have many friends with boats, and I can promise you that no one we know or care about will ever use this business. read more

Never commented on Yelp, but I need to warn people of the worst boat service in 20 years. J.R. (Owner) gave us his word (twice) on a mutually agreed drop off time and location for our boat, which was stored with N & K for the winter. Both times he backed out on his word, and was unapologetic and told us not to tell him how to do his job. I've wasted enough time talking about this guy and his company. Don't make the same mistake I did. Check out Wilson's Marine, much more professional. read more

Stopped by a few weeks earlier and discussed some repair work on an older 65HP Mercury. They said that i could bring it by and they would take a look, great. Stopped by a second time and the counter wrote up my work order , looking at at least $500-$750 minimum, agreed and I quickly went home a brought the boat over. just unhooked from truck and some guy comes out and says that too old not going to work on it. Excuse me, just wrote up the order with no problem. I just need to have you look at it and willing to go $500-750 for your work. You don't even know whats wrong with it yet. Probably can not find parts for it either. Since you don't know whats wrong with it how can you even know what parts you need. Get it out if here not working on it,. Apparently they don't need money so I left disappointed. read more

My jet ski trailer wheel bearing failed on the way to the marine for winter storage. N&K made all of the road side arrangements to get the trailer back to the marine and repair the wheel bearings at a very fair wage. I broke a axle on our boat trailer and was stuck in the middle-of-somewhere with no idea what I was going to do. The towing company suggested this business and rigged me up so I could drive it over to them. I cannot praise this business enough. J.R. (Owner) and Jim were so helpful they arranged for me to leave my boat there, contacted a trailer repair shop in Brighton, MI, transported the trailer to the repair shop, FAX'd the total costs to my insurance company and contacted me when the trailer was returned to them. While boating on Halfmoon, Blind, Watson, etc. At the end of the day our starter broke. The bolt that holds the started literally broke in half. We called the Marine shop to get an estimate. We explained the type of boat, engine, etc. The receptionist had an attitude and said, "I mean we can't give you a quote over the phone. You have to bring it in." We called several other Marine shops in the area who easily gave us a quote. If you want the business wouldn't you want to give a simple quote. read more

Their statement " Our customer is our priority" is laughable. I paid $90 in early June to store my boat trailer till October. One week after dropping it off, I had to pick up the trailer because of a boat repair issue. Little did I know the repair would take till after Labor Day. When I stopped by today (Sept 3rd) to discuss srink wrapping and a possible credit toward that cost, I was firmly shut down. N & K Marine charged me $90 to park my boat trailer in their near empty lot for a week. I live on the chain of lakes and generally believe in supporting local business, however that no longer is true with N & K. PS - N&K's quote for the boat repair was the highest out of four. They were 20% higher the Wilson Marine. read more

Terrible business. Bought my boat in for motor repair and was given a quote of $500. They called 2 weeks later and was told it would be $1500 and they would be charging me storage fees each day I hadn't picked it up. The owner was exceptionally rude and arrogant. Don't ever use them. read more

We have stored our boat here for the last 4 years. Have never had a problem with delivery, or customer service. I actually get a call the day of delivery to confirm. I will continue to use this place for all my boating needs. read more

I left my boat to be winterized and wrapped. When I took wrap off boat they left the moisture pack laying on seat never opened it still in plastic. The whole inside of boat was full of mold. Seats were ruined. Would never suggest anyone use them. read more
