When I said I was going to give a poor review, he said "Good! Then I will have fewer pricks like you to deal with!" Sheesh! The owner of Malone Motorsports needs Jesus. I don't know why he treats people so poorly, but he must be a very unhappy man. Promised to exchange it for the right prop and wouldn't live up to the deal he sold me. Also had a problem when he originally installed the motor. One of my two boat batteries disappeared while in his shop. They charged me for a new replacement battery. Not sure who stole it... just sayin' that's dishonest and bad for business. The older guy at Malone Motorsports who I previously bought a motor from was great to deal with. I understand he retired. Too bad. New management will run this business into the ground before long.

I signed up for a deep cleaning, six hours for $243. I gave them a list of rooms to get to and was…read morereally disappointed when I reviewed what they got done. Only three rooms were cleaned, the kitchen and two of our three bathrooms. I've had house cleaning services over the last 12 years or so, so I feel like I have reasonable expectations based on personal experience working with good cleaners. The kitchen is about 10-12 foot square. While some things were obviously cleaned, the details weren't caught. The half bath is approximately 6x6 feet big, with a toilet, corner shelf and small sink. The countertop was dirty, the items on the countertop that stay out (like the toothbrush holder) were dirty, the lights window and mirror frame weren't dusted, the wall next to the toilet was dirty, and sink and faucet were still dirty. The upstairs bath is a 3/4 bath that's approximately 6x12 foot, with a shower stall, toilet and double sink. Again, the lights and windows weren't dusted, the sink and faucet were dirty. The shower wall was streaky, and the water with the cleaned-away dirt was left pooling on the floor of the shower and had dried there. The office was quick about responding to my initial email and follow-up emails. They offered to come back and redo the rooms we were unhappy with but I preferred not to. I asked if the amount of space that was completed was on par with the normal 6-hours of deep cleaning and they said yes 2-4 rooms were normal. I don't feel like that was a value for the price or reasonable for the amount of time spent. The young ladies who came to our house were absolutely lovely in the few minutes I spoke with them. While this is a negative review, my main issue is not with the ladies who did the cleaning. It really appears that the issues are with training, inspecting, and my expectations not being aligned with those of the company. I hope they'll take this feedback and invest the time in setting their staff up for success.

It's a man-made lake fed by a large river, so you need to be careful boating, especially after hard rains or storms. With the above in mind, it is an awesome place to rent a pontoon boat, go swimming, fishing or camping. The campground is really well maintained and has concrete pads with nice fire pits. Latitude 41 is a nice bar / grill atmosphere, and has almost anything you would want. If you want to take your kids fishing, I suggest driving all the way to the back of the marina on the SW side and fishing off of the docks. You will almost always find croppy and other small lake fish that are easy to catch with minnows or worms with a bobber. There are so many recreation opportunities here - our favorite is biking and the nature center.

My 16 year old took his dirt bike into Hicklin Power Sports in Grimes to see if they could do some…read morediagnostics on it to see why it wouldn't start. He asked them not to take the bike apart unless they were able to put it back together as part of the diagnostic work. When he went to pick his bike up, the entire motor had been removed and was in parts (the main parts were in a box and then there were 4 large bags of bolts and other small parts also). Hicklin charged him $500 for the diagnostic work and then said it would be another $4000 to put the bike back together. As a result his bike has been sitting unusable in the garage for several months. Hicklin Power Sports completely took advantage of a child and put him in a position where he would be forced to pay $4500 to fix his bike, unless he knew how to fix it himself.

This has been my worst experience yet with a service repair on a motorcycle in my 64 years of life. I used to sing the praises of this place but today they have failed me miserably. So now I don't know when the bike is going to be repaired. And now I'm waiting for my wife to make the 10 miles trek here to pick me up. Top it all off they don't even know if this is going to fix the issue with my motorcycle!
