Upon moving in, an immediate and costly repair to plumbing was incurred - not to mention a whole of other issues that will require a great deal of money to repair - dishwasher not secured in place, outlets not working, outlets loose, garage door apparatus not hung properly, sinks not draining properly, deck considered weathered by inspector is actually rotted and needs replacement, sprinkler systems not working properly, dangerous holes in backyard, there are a whole host of other issues. As most are not trained in what to look for in terms of inspection, I counted on this business to advocate on our behalf - I usually do not complain but this was the worst inspection and I feel very taken advantaged of. I would not recommend this company at all!

In my particular case, Jerry arrived on site at the specified time range and was conscientious as to not track dirt into the home by wearing shoe covers (very detail-oriented). He did not rush through the process and when a potential sign of trouble or malfunction arose, he paid extremely close attention to be sure that his assessments were correct. At the conclusion of the inspection, Jerry went over the documentation item by item, pointing out to me the things that were of paramount importance and those that could wait until a later date to address. Later that evening, PDF copies of the home and termite inspection were in my e-mail inbox, ready to print and review. Because of Jerry's attention to detail and thorough nature, I was able to go back to the seller with a professional and well documented list of the things I needed repaired before the sale could go through. Without a doubt, I would recommend SunView Inspections to any prospective home buyer. First they came in walking all over my home with no shoe cover or taking shoes off, I messaged the company and asked them to remind the cleaners to wear shoe covers as my child and spouse both have extreme allergies and they went out to the car to grab them, came back in and only one cleaner proceeded to put hers on while the short haired woman said she didn't understand why they would call to bother her about that and proceeded to walk my entire house without the shoe covers. Next, the short haired woman was dragging the vacuum into the primary bedroom and slammed it against the wall and peeled a piece of it off. Lastly, I mistakenly left my wedding band on my bathroom counter as I was rushing to get out of the house and the short haired woman stole it. I contacted molly maid and instead of asking for proof they said they spoke with the cleaner and she said, "she doesn't recall seeing a ring." because yeah she would just tell you she stole it. What makes it worse it I just got it back from being repaired, I hate thieves and liars. This is so disappointing, I was hoping to use their service and promote it in this area but knowing the caliber of people they hire I will not be using this service. Please avoid this company at all cost!

The previous contractor had left it with visible drywall screws wide exposed cuts, etc. It looked terrible. After panicking because our countertops were scheduled for installation and looking through Jasons Yelp photos, we knew we needed to get on Jason's schedule. He books out sometimes 3 weeks, and this was last minute. We ended up delaying our countertop installation by 3 weeks in order to have him do the work. Waiting for Jason to do the work was 100% worth having a plywood island top for those 3 weeks. He showed up on time and got right to work. His cuts are precise, and the extension he built looks like it's always been there. We ended up hiring him to extend our kitchen cabinetry to the ceiling and add crown molding to it, as well as add trim pieces to our cabinets' blank sides before we had them painted. We also hired him to modify and install a wood hood over our stove top. Everything came out perfectly. We are more than impressed with his work and wouldn't hesitate to hire him again. This guy is a professional and the best kind. There was not one bad surprise with him. He even gave me some tips, as I was filling the cabinet handle holes prior to getting them painted. We are SO happy with our recent solar panel and battery system install!…read moreWe were kind of guinea pigs for one of the 16.7kW popular LG batteries that Solar CenTex is starting to carry and install. There were some things that they had to work out to make sure that the system was working the way that it was supposed to, but I told Scot that I'd rather the system take longer to put in and it be put in RIGHT than it to be put in fast and not well. While it did take longer than initially anticipated, they were still well within their contracted time for the install... AND I still recommend them to others even with some of the hiccups. What I appreciated the most apart from the quality equipment and supplies installed with care was how well their team works together to help their customers. Scot, Sabrina, Chris and the rest of the team were very patient with my concerns and questions throughout the whole process. This is huge because sometimes I have a lot of questions! Also, they don't just do the installation then forget about you after it's done. They are prepared to offer kind and thorough customer support on their work and the equipment they installed. While this was expensive for me, I feel good about this purchase. Especially because of what happened recently with the ERCOT debacle.
