Love coming here. Great for some relax time with wine and noshes. Quincy is very informative and helpful. The food is great, had the eggs and arancini so far. Enjoying the quality wine. Great ambiance, they have comfy couches and some board games. Good for groups or celebratory events

Waters Edge Winery & Bistro is an amazing choice if your in the mood for wine flights. The wine flights are reasonably priced and the pours are better than average. My bestie and I came and had an amazing time. They have happy hour Tuesday - Thursday and Sundays until 6 pm. They also have a Chef's Happy Hour Special that consists of 5 pours and 5 bites for $35 for one person or $60 for two. The bites consist of stuffed mushrooms, deviled eggs, toasted ravioli, and parma frites with mini fondue. On Wednesdays they have "Wine Down Wednesdays" and offer 25% off glasses of wine and bottles. I highly recommend Waters Edge Winery & Bistro.

My wife and I stopped in for a drink recently and had a great time. The place is spacious with several seating areas (tables, couches, and bar). We sat in the area with couches and each had a glass of wine. I enjoyed my Temecula Valley Malbec and my wife enjoyed her German Gewurztraminer wine. The staff were friendly and informative. We will definitely be back.

I came here on a random Friday and by Sunday I became a member. The staff that I've had interactions with are great. Quincy, Sean, Preston and Katy have been so kind and friendly. I believe Preston is a sommelier and that is great to have at a winery. I can't wait to watch this place grow in the community and I'm excited to explore all the wines that they have to offer. They even have different events throughout the week on top of happy hour like trivia, bingo, or mahjong. If you're looking to get into wine, network, and be in a welcoming atmosphere - this is the place!

Don't snooze on Water's Edge. The food is absolutely incredible! The appetizer selection is chef's kiss. I didn't have a single bite of food that made me say 'meh'. Every dish was delicious. The environment is cozy and welcoming. The service was top tier. It's decorated perfectly for Christmas!

What a pleasant surprise! The restaurant is elegant and fantastic! The decor was extremely nice and inviting! Food excellent! Service the best in the area! This area has nothing like it! The ambiance is fenomenal with the water fall sound in the background! It has live music later in the day (Jazz). We will definitely be back with friend for a nice quiet meal and drinks!!! Wish the owners great success! Thank you!!!!

Just as perfect as I have remembered. Gretchen was working the bar and is very knowledgeable. She's a lot of fun to chat with, but will leave you alone if you and your friends want to chat privately. (I recommend chatting with Gretchen - super cool and lots of fun!) They have large dark wood tables with benches and a beautiful bar set up. Rustic and inviting. Certain nights they have live music of different kinds. Check their website or call for more detail details. Wine selection is broad and includes a nice variety of European wines. Don't forget the Wines on the left wall just as you enter the restaurant! It's very easy to miss. I had so much fun Wednesday I'm going back tonight!

The cocktail menu is diverse and unique. I took our excellent server's (Kayla) recommendation and had the Bryan St Martini, which is a gin-based martini with a a lemon stuffed olive topped with black caviar. My wife had the Spiced Pear 75, which she loved. Since they are cuisine francaise, our table started with the escargot bourguignon, which has the typical six snails, but instead of butter+garlic+herbs, they were in a cream sauce and then topped with more escargot on top! The complimentary bread (and butter) served when we sat down were perfect to top with escargot and dip into the cream sauce. Our dining friends order the beet carpacio salad and we had the champagne-brie soup. After one spponful, I told Kayla that dish alone is worth another visit. My wife had the duck a l'orange and I had chicken roulade. For dessert, we split a bananas foster souffle, which requires 20 minutes prep time, which Kayla perfectly timed after we ordered when our entrees came. Overall, great food, GREAT service and a truly unique vibe!

We were quickly shown to our seats and immediately brought waters and bread. We each had two cocktails from their booklet menu and they were delicious! You have to order every course at the same time so we were given some time to look over the menu before ordering. We started with the Escargots Bourguignon and the Shrimp St Martins. The sauce that the shrimp was sitting in was TO DIE FOR. The escargot came in a sauce as well but the shrimp sauce was so good I was dipping the escargot in the shrimp sauce! Then out came the Champagne Brie soup- it was my favorite thing I had. I could've easily licked my bowl clean. For the entree I had the Rack of Lamb and my partner had the Seared Sea Bass. We both honestly weren't impressed by either. They were just good, not great. It probably didn't help that we had waited too long for our entrees. Unfortunately, our entire dining experience lasted 2 hours. I appreciate a nice meal that's not rushed... but the time between courses was honestly ridiculous. I'm not sure if it was just this particular night that the kitchen was slow but then again it was a Wednesday night... I'd hate to see a weekend night.

Our trio is vegetarian, and the prix fixe options were not v.f. However, Gary and staff were understanding, and adjusted the selections to fit our needs. The dishes were plated beautifully, there was no delay in service, and they did not serve a side dish of "attitude." Thankfully, as we were dining after 6pm, the dining rooms were not SRO, nor were their guests on the patio, or we certainly would not put upon the kitchen crew the adjustments. The setting and space of McRae's is refreshingly unique, cozy and welcoming. Dress up or down, you'll always feel welcome. And the previous times we have dined there, , the food is always prepared with attention, servings generous and the taste is superb. The creme brûlée? Truly, "tres magnifique." With a covered patio, McRae's is ready for any weather conditions in Dallas. There is also a full bar, and our wine pours were not stingy. "Thanks again" Gary and crew, for your hospitality, support and ever delicious food. "Support local and independent" knowing that McRae's is a top choice and standout in this category.
