Quaint bistro and piano bar with a clear French influence from the décor and menu to the service attire. We made a very last-minute reservation and were greeted by name when we arrived. Somehow the entire restaurant seemed to know it was my daughter's birthday and her name, which was such a thoughtful and personal touch. It was late, so only a few tables were occupied, and we essentially had the piano bar to ourselves. We ate, laughed, took photos, and sang along with the piano, feeling completely comfortable and never rushed. Service was prompt and attentive. Justin gave us plenty of space while still anticipating exactly when to clear plates or bring out the next course. Justin's recommendations were spot on and he took great care of us. Portions were larger than expected for a French bistro, and we even had leftovers. The mussels were fresh in a delicious garlic sauce and paired perfectly with crispy fries. The lobster bisque was smooth with generous chunks of lobster, and the escargot was wonderfully meaty. I had been craving scallops, and this dish absolutely delivered - the sauce was incredible, and I already want more. Can't wait to return!

The server was very pleasant and the ambiance was very romantic, especially for an evening dinner. The food was good, and my personal favorite was the escargot. Unfortunately I was left waiting a long time for my fries I ordered and had to remind the server but it wasn't a bad experience overall.

It's always a good time at St Martin's when you're looking for an elevated cocktail and food experience. It's one of the most beautiful spaces in Dallas. I've posted them many times but needed to share some recent photos from two separate evenings. Photo #1 is a delicious Espresso Martini (nice pour) and photo #2 is a classic Vieux Carre. Both were excellent as usual. The dessert is Profiteroles which is an Italian cream puff. If you want the best service in Dallas, the most beautiful space, and live piano you need to go to St. Martins. Salute @thejohnnycocktail Espresso Martini 2 oz. Vodka 1/2 oz. Coffee Liqueur 1 oz. Tried this restaurant out for fun even though we live outside of 635 still less than a 30 min drive and well worth it. Located on east downtown it's a newly renovated building with exposed brick and dark interiors. Super well decorated. The feeling is cozy but fancy enough to feel like a romantic special night out. The bar is large L shaped with plenty of room. Make reservations but if you get there early likely they will fit you in. The piano is live and 7 days a week. I thought the prices were good value and the food was of the utmost standards. Good portions for French style cooking. Soufflés are a key dessert option. Enjoy.

Came here for anniversary dinner and loved it! The inside is gorgeous and the live music makes for a very romantic dinner. We ordered the escargot, scallops, and ratatouille. Everything looked and tasted delicious. The complimentary bread was also very fresh and warm. The drinks are well done and reasonably priced. Overall an expensive meal but a great splurge!

St Martin's service was delightful. We loved our host and Charlie our server. He had the best recommendations and was on top our dietary restrictions. We ordered: - SHRIMP ST. MARTIN'S: delicious. Highly recommend having the complimentary bread with the sauce. My wife ordered the - SEAFOOD THERMIDOR: this was market price and cost us $105. It was a substantial amount of lobster and the scallops were delectable. We were not a fan of the almond vanilla dessert. Very basic. All-in-all, a delightful experience made even better by our server Charlie.

We celebrated Mother's Day on May 10th. This was our first time here. The restaurant is really beautiful, the service is impecable, nice live piano music, and all the food is delicious. My wife had the seafood thermidor, my son the rack of lamb and me a my daughter had the filet au poivre...All was fantastic. Their cocktails, wines and desserts are great too. Do your self a favor a come try this place out.

When we arrived our table was not ready, but it took less than 10 minutes to get seated! The entire experience was beautiful. Our server was the best and was incredibly warm and funny. I cannot believe I've never been recommended this restaurant by anyone because I'm never going to stop talking about it. Food was incredibly fresh, vibrant, and full of flavor. Worth the price 1000%. I love you St. Martin's Bistro

My girlfriend and I went here just for a quick app and dessert. Our waiter was very nice and friendly. We got a couple of drinks and then an appetizer and dessert. Everything was tasty! The ambience was nice as there was some live music but where we were seated we couldn't see them. Good date night spot!

Made a reservation for Friday at 5pm and it was the perfect time slot. The restaurant wasn't busy and it was quiet. You were able to have a conversation without yelling over people. The tables are close together so this spot isn't intimate in that regard (depending on the time you go). They have someone playing the piano and the ambiance is dark. We ordered the shrimp appetizer which was fantastic and then the salmon as the main course. Salmon was bland and didn't have any taste to it. If I come again, it would be for drinks and an appetizer. The service was good. Very attentive.

St. Martin's has such a cozy, romantic vibe with its dim lighting and gorgeous chandeliers. The French inspired dishes are next-level delicious. We started with their famous champagne brie soup, which has been on the menu for 45 years! It's rich and super creamy, so be warned, it's a bit much if you're sensitive to that kind of thing. I couldn't finish mine because it was a little too heavy for me, but still tasty! The halibut was the real showstopper for me. Crispy on the outside and perfectly tender inside, it was just divine. The lemony cream sauce was the perfect touch, adding a light citrus zing to the rich cream. We also tried one of their steaks, which came topped with black truffle and foie gras, drenched in a rich, mouthwatering red wine reduction sauce. It was seriously amazing! The service was top-notch too. Our server was super knowledgeable and helped us pick the best dishes. All in all, it was an unforgettable fine dining experience!

Unmatched vibes and service. The second you walk in and hear the piano you're transported to France. Our server, Rene, was truly so kind and knowledgeable. Everything from the cocktails, to the entree, to the dessert was so delicious. I honestly can't wait to go back to try more things!

Coq au vin was packed with flavor. Super rich and filling.

I hadn't been here in quite some time. Actually before their relocation. I'm glad I returned because this place is better than ever. They didn't lose any of their charm it the food and service level has even gotten better. Love the live music and their wine selection is great. My French girlfriend was all a flutter for their food so that speaks volumes.

Although they offered seating down low, it was constantly rotating on availability depending on the performers. If I wanted to find a seat, I could have. I mostly stood near the bar which wasn't too crowded since it was an all ages event. After standing there for about 2 hours, they did ask us to move to the end of the bar for potential customers .. there never really were more than 3 people ordering at a time, but we still moved. We got tall boy White Claws and it was the perfect sipper drink. The lighting and sound was good for the experience here and they had plenty of vantage points (including a VIP upper floor). Security wasn't bad, I didn't bring a bag, so I breezed through. There's a large parking structure right behind the TBF, so walking over was very easy too. We did initially have handicap people in our group who opted not to attend after we shared that the surrounding sidewalks were not very level and that the amount of people might be a little tricky for navigating with a walker. All in all though, I had a great time here!
