We came for lunch before walking the trail around the nearby White Rock Lake trail. The brewery is conveniently located near an access point for the Santa Fe Trail (which then connects to the White Rock Trail). The restaurant gives you both indoor and outdoor options which was perfect on this beautiful sunny Saturday. We enjoyed both the beers and food we tried. My husband started with the Triple A Amber Ale and then had the Bringing Mexi Back. The Triple A was his favorite of the two. I enjoyed the Dreamsicle Kayak. The flavor wasn't overbearing. For food, we started with the Brussel Sprouts. They had a great flavor with a bit of kick (but not too much). My husband had the Light Patty Melt featuring the turkey burger as a great, flavorful option. I enjoyed the Sriracha Chicken Wrap. I really liked the combo of the ingredients and their sweet potato fries are fantastic! We feel like we've found a great place to keep coming back to before more trail walks!

Food was amazing and the drinks were ok but great service will defiantly visit again soon

Woodrowfest night. Great live bands tonight along with baseball, college football and local beer.

Esthetically appealing inside. Lots of seating, inside and out. It wasn't super busy so it was surprising the service was quite slow. Not sure if there just wasn't enough help. In fact, the appetizer came out with the food which was really disappointing. The alehouse salad was really good. My son enjoyed his burger, and my husband drank up the sourdough chili bowl. Other than the slow service, I would try again

Beer: Great! Tried several. Like them all. Location: Great! Patio is comfortable even in summer. Indoor and bar seating as well. Food: Mediocre. It's average bar fare. It's not bad but it's nothing special. Service: Bad! Servers - spend more time with customers and less gossiping amongst yourselves. Manager - stop flirting with your staff - they're not interested... Prices: Over. At least there's plenty of parking...

The atmosphere of the restaurant is very chill and laidback. I would make sure you check in with the host when seating on the patio so they are aware to send out a server. If not, you'll be sitting a while before anyone notices you're waiting for service. Once our server did come out, he was very nice and make good beer recommendations. He also let us know they are about to open another location in Trinity Groves. We including my dog enjoyed our visit to ale house. If we come back, definitely for the beer and environment. Their menu options were just okay.

    Let's get it.

Great for walking, jogging, cycling, skating, or whatever! 9 plus mile loop! Clean and safe.

Could order any draft on the flight.

Service was great due to many workers walking around with a tablet on a Saturday evening and there was a live band playing.

I came here for a dinner with a large group and was blown away by the fantastic service and excellent food. The server was with us as soon as we sat down to get orders and checked in regularly to make sure everything was going well. He handled a group of around 20 without any problems at all. The creamsicle beer was interesting, but also refreshing. However the fish and chips really stole the show. I would order that again any day. I would definitely recommend White Rock Alehouse!

Nice place near biking & walking trails adjacent to White Rock Lake. Ahi Tuna Nachos are an absolute must try. Seems to pair with most of their rotation. Attentive staff is fairly knowledgeable in their space. Great place explore your craft beer palette

We enjoy coming to White Rock Alehouse but this visit, sadly, wasn't the greatest experience. The chicken sliders had a sweet and slightly spicy sauce on them, were topped with coleslaw on brioche buns. They flavor was pretty good but there were a couple of tough, dried out edges of the chicken which did not make for a pleasant bite. Their homemade chips would've been much better if there were made fresh to order, most were pretty crisp but there were a few, tough and soggy ones that again, really took away from the flavor and overall dinner experience. It's not very far from our house and we definitely love visiting locally owned restaurants in the area so I would go back and order something else as we've eaten here before and everything else had been excellent prior to this visit.

We arrived early and grabbed pre-dinner cocktails on the patio, which honestly set the tone for the evening. The fire pit tables + evening atmosphere were perfect. We kept it classic with Old Fashioneds and martinis, and both were very well executed. Simple, balanced, and clearly made by someone who knows what they're doing. There was also a blueberry graham cracker cocktail (can't remember the name, unfortunately) that was surprisingly delicious and easily could've been dessert in a glass. The tasting itself was an 8-course menu and absolutely incredible. Since this was a one-night pop-up, I won't go into detail on the food, but every course was thoughtful, creative, and genuinely delicious. One of those meals where you're excited for the next plate the second the last one's cleared. Service really stood out. The team was attentive without hovering, cleaned up seamlessly between courses, and made sure our drinks were never empty. They also offered solid wine pairings that complemented the menu really well and elevated the experience overall. One extra thing that really sealed it for me: after dinner, the second chef Taylor and the owner/manager Tanner came over and hung out with us for a bit. As someone who's a bit of a foodie nerd, I genuinely appreciate when chefs and operators take the time to talk food, concepts, and the thought behind the menu. It made the experience feel personal and intentional, not just transactional. If this pop-up is any indication of what Rye is capable of, it's definitely a place worth returning to. Great atmosphere, great drinks, and a team that clearly cares about the experience. Would absolutely come back.

Our dining party enjoyed the Chef's tasting menu, which was expertly presented and beautifully prepared. Our server, Trinity, explained each course and was readily available for follow up questions. She was friendly and knowledgeable about all aspects of the preparations. Executive Chef Taylor Rause was frequently in the dining room, too, assisting in service and in explanations, sometimes tying the food back to personal experiences, which was delightful to hear and understand. The overarching theme of ancient grains permeated the entire tasting menu, creating a delicious and unifying thread. The small courses ranged from good to outstanding. Standouts for us were a pavé of celery root and green apple with a spelt crisp, a tiny masa tortilla stuffed with turkey chorizo, and a stunningly smoky wagyu spinalis with an unbelievable Bordelaise. A couple dishes missed those high marks a tad, such as a chicken leg with an einkorn biscuit that was light on flavor and a bit under-seasoned. All of us likewise felt the desserts lacked some of the same uniqueness of the previous plates. But these are small quibbles in an otherwise memorable experience that was capped by a brief visit to the kitchen, a good chance to wholeheartedly thank Chef Rause and Chef de Cuisine Jay Vopatek for a great night. High recommended.

We were seated immediately and our server was very friendly and got us started with water immediately. My wife informed her of the food allergies and informed us that whatever he is interested in, she will let us know if he can have it or if they are able to modify it. I ordered the Deviled Avocado (their play on the Deviled Egg). First it looked so cool and the avocado was the base and instead of the creamy egg it was a chick pea cream with some salt and seasoning. It was topped with onion straws. OMG it was really good. I really loved it and the texture was similar to deviled egg. For my main dish, I got a fresh kale salad with ranch dressing. It also had chick peas croutons. The ranch was light and very good. The kale was crisp and the chickpea croutons were unique and crispy. It was large enough for two. I also ordered a side of fresh cut fries which were cut thin. It was crispy and lightly salted. I can't skip in ordering fries especially if they look good. And looks matched the taste. The service was great and she kept checking on us. The tallow fries that came with were warm, not hot, and just ok. I was expecting more. I would not order fries again. Others ordered the brussel sprouts, mashed tators, all were very good. And lastly a falafel burger. It was pretty tasty. All in all a great place. I think the execution for some of the menu items were off, so maybe warrants another visit.
