However, he did not take our Insurance and so we had to leave. It didn't take me long before I came across Cherrydale Dental Associates who 'did' take our Insurance! They have female Dentists which I had never had! Plus they are just a little more than a mile from where we live! To give you an idea about them is, a short time ago I had a pain in my upper back tooth. It was painful and I called them to see when they could see me. They were able to see me that afternoon and 'we all found out' I actually had a hole in my tooth! Very unusual, but, the next day they were able to fill it and that is what I call 'Awesome'! My husband and I are both thrilled we have found these wonderful Professionals and a knowledgeable group of caring and kind individuals!

The staff are all welcoming and friendly. That is huge when going to the dentist. Today was my third visit with them. Attention to detail and overall care from office staff, hygienists and dentist. I didn't need any of those crowns! Today I did go back in to repair an old crown. Highly recommend headphones especially for any major issues. It made the time go by quickly and with less stress. We all need less stress! I prepaid since insurance wouldn't cover this problem. At the end they told me I was getting a $192 refund as they didn't need to do as much work as expected! I've had a lot of experience with dentists, and Dr. Kenna is the only one that (I've learned) I don't have to be afraid of. I know whatever happens he's going to be kind, gentle, and he won't gouge my wallet. His hygienists and dental assistants are equally as gentle. I've been a patient since he first opened this office and I've never been disappointed with the care. His office is convenient in downtown and it is beautiful. The staff and hygienists are always super friendly. Overall, my teeth are healthy for my age, but my gums are very sensitive. I had a crown break (I only have one) and eery time I have needed any kind of drilling or other operation in my mouth, I have always endured great pain. Not so with Dr Derrick. He was able to get the job done with almost no discomfort. I'll be his patient for as long as he'll have me!

I thought he and his assistants were very pro, better than other dentists I've experienced. The dental hygienist was just as professional and friendly. There is nothing I can complain about. Same goes for the office staff. And, you can't beat the location!
