At least that way you might stay warmer than any structure Brent would build for you. He built half of a structure for me and then walked off the job with an extra $150,000 in his pocket. Brent just disappeared from the job and called me later to say he messed up on the budget and overspent by $40,000 so he left to figure it out but never came back! I had to spend 2 years in court to finally get a resolution. Brent will take you for every cent and will not deliver on any building. He was drinking on the job daily as well as his guys. He co-mingled funds from several projects and could not deliver receipts to show where the money was going. I have the facts and proof to show this is the case with him, as well as the law suit ending in my favor. The structure that he did complete was not to code and not to plan!!! I spend more money on a new contractor to fix all the code violations than Brent's initial bid for the Barndominuim. Do yourself a huge favor and stay away from Cascade Custom Construction and Brent DeArmond!!!!!! This is how Brent treats a disabled veteran when building his retirement home.

Horrid communication by the contractor within his org and with me. People showed up that didn't know or have the skills for the job. The contractor didn't know of any of the verbal agreements I had with his sales people. (He substituted an inferior siding for what I wanted and had agreed to. Didn't even ask me or talk about additional cost - he just decided!) They completed the work this spring and I made the final payment within a week of final inspection. I thought I was done with these folks and very happy to part ways. Well I received a notice from Builders First Source (BFS), Intent to File Lien, on my property because they didn't get paid for materials they delivered. I called the owner, Brent, and thought I had an agreement that he would pay BFS within a week. That was two weeks ago. The painter threatened to sue and I found out that CCC hadn't paid the concrete sub either. I'm hiring a lawyer to get advice on how to proceed. There are more transgressions on the part of CCC then room to list here. Work with these folks at your own risk!

They had the skills to handle the full job, including installing cabinetry, appliances, tile, plumbing, electrical and hardware. They did a stunning masonry job on our fireplace, complete with a custom mantle. They built a faux beam to match the mantle and installed all new lighting and fans to finish the room. There was no shortage of delays caused by the cabinet distributor, but Brady and Steve were smart and flexible, allowing them to keep the job moving along. They said they would be happy to come out and do an inspection for me. They were extremely communicative and Chris Newton showed up at 2:00 just as scheduled. He walked around the house with me. Explained what looked good and what could have been done differently but was still ok. After a half an hour he said he was going to get out his drone out to see places we couldn't from the ground and snap photos. We then reviewed all the photos and I got a thorough roofing education, much appreciated! I don't know if they normally spend so much time for a free inspection, but regardless, Chris spent an hour with me and the roof and it didn't cost me anything. No sales pitch or request for me to write a review. I wanted to write a review because I wish I had found them instead of the other company I used.
