My experience was disappointing. His designs are incomplete and therefore many decisions had to be made with his crew, which led to many misunderstandings. I asked for a water feature and he gave me a pond. The flagstone walkway was badly done, and is not walkable with bare feet since the gravel around it (which I did not ask for) spills all over the stone. He built a trellis that is dangerous. He fixed part of it but my 2 year old grandson just founds the flaw and fell badly. He won't finish the planting part, and has left me high and dry, without documenting where the capped valve is. He can't take criticism, and won't fix mistakes without charging you. Not a good vendor. read more

I was very disappointed in the final outcome of our landscape from Waterwise. I was pleased with the hardscape but it went downhill from there. After spending more than $45,000, the final result was spartan, unimaginative and not at all what we envisioned. All the plants were small and very expensive and Waterwise Landscapes would not listen to my directions. Design was nice, but in my opinion would have been maintenance intensive. Gave two months notice to remove hold so Waterwise could fill my slot with another customer. Our agreement was to pay Hunter for his time, which I did for initial plan and every revision. But when requesting my $200 hold deposit back, I was then told that it was being kept because he had put in more time than he billed me for. How is that my problem? Never signed anything, nor was I informed that the deposit would not be refunded. If you deal with these folks, be sure to get "everything" in writing. Hated to rate at even one star. read more
