I regularly used the self-service wash 2001-2011, and now again in 2024. Good price, used to be $1, now $2. Bays are well maintained, in good working order. Plenty of water pressure. My favorite carwash, I drive here from Ann Arbor. read more

Always been hit or miss with the workers who "prep" your vehicle before sending it through the automatic wash. Lately its more miss than hit. Paying $12 for a very small car to come out looking like this after, never again! Complete waste of money! read more

Well... I have a monthly pass and they are the most lazy dudes I've seen at a car wash. The guy with the bug removal will not move. I mean not at all... he puts the spray on one side of the car and that's it. The other side away from him ... forget it. Even if you tempt him with a good time... he probably wouldn't move. I'm happy that I pay $36.00/month to have one side of my car cleaned especially the bugs. I like how my car looks with the bugs. Give it an "edge" and when people ask like "wow that's so dope! How did you do it?! I'll just tell them to go to this car wash and they give you that buggy edge." All joke aside... I'm canceling the pass. It isn't worth it. The staff is very nice and friendly and if they're are any concerns you have they address them. And the Owner Brian is AWESOME!!!! So I don't know why these other people have said such negative things but obviously they just don't have anything else to do. If you want your ride to look mighty fine then come on down to Waterworks Car Wash. They are the best. Because of COVID a lot has changed for us all but don't keep going on yelp trying to smear this business bcuz that is not right. I just had a terrible experience at this Water Works! It definitely did Not Work Well for me and my F-150! I never heard such an awful banging sound on my truck at any car wash before! I heard it especially when it banged hard on my sun roof ... then on my tonneau cover destroying it and my hard-earned cash! I could have saved a fortune by Not going to this Water Works Auto wash! At first the employees were very nice to me when I complained and said The Owner Brian is cool and will probably at the very least, repair the damage to my truck! I felt relief. Then when I talked to the owner I received a very different response with excuses and lies! He claims that his equipment did Not do what I said it did (When I heard it Louder than my radio's Volume and I felt it! ) basically denied any fault by him, his business, or his equipment especially. I Never even received an apology! He offered a Car Wash Gift Card for another wash??? Why would he ever believe I would Ever go to any of his car wash facilities after costing me over $1200.00 or More in damages to my vehicle! UNBELIEVABLE and INCONCEIVABLE ! Car # 898 4/22/24 I told myself after the last time i went and my jeep got scratched in several spots that i wouldnt do it again. well shame on me i tried it again today and paid for the $18 package. only half my jeep was clean. Hard top side scratched to the whites of the fiberglass. i complained last timer and got no response so here we are. take it or leave it. two out of 3 times have been bad. read more

The pro is establishment is a mile from my home. The cons are that I purchased the best and ultimately most expensive monthly plan and would expect a little TLC. Each and every car this time of year should have its side view mirrors and front bumper/grille sprayed with bug spray and scrubbed to loosen up the bugs. Unfortunately, this would require a little bit of effort--so as long as they don't need to move, your car gets sprayed within standing distance of the employee working the bug spray. NEVER is the passenger-side rear view mirror sprayed for bugs. Good customer service is hard to find. Minimum effort seems to be satisfactory and the status quo. read more

Paid $8 for the superworks got out n went right across to meijers when i got out i could still see tons of dirt went immediately back and asked if they would take care of it was told no because i left the parking lot literally 500 feetaway. I did the manual car wash so can't say anything about the staff or automatic car wash. It was below freezing so I was actually impressed that they kept the ports clear of most of the ice and ran hot enough water to keep all the sprayer options going. The foam brush was a joke though and totally unusable. It had a flexible head that was thoroughly shot. This place is a good option for getting the salt off, and not much more. read more

Our friend kept saying how great they are. So we went . It depends on who working. If the owner is there on Fridays it's great easy. Young guys with nose ring and other fatt guy car will look like garbage. Bought the $10. Wash it looked awful. Like I say 2 different experience. Went back to let them know my car was still dirty. I've been going to this car wash ever since I moved to Van Buren Twp. But after today I am completely finish going here. The little "manager" creep was nothing but a mouth. Didn't care if the car was clean or not. He had a real bad attitude when I complained to him. My BRAND NEW Lincoln was covered in BLACK spots, and I had garbage bags stuck to my wheels. The entire facility has been upgraded with all brand new state of the art wash equipment. The wash entrance has all been re-paved, widened to two lanes, and lengthened to accommodate more traffic. They now have self serve computerized wash selection and payment capability. They also now offer unlimited wash plans. The new equipment is gentle but does a thorough job. The cost has increased, but so has the wash quality. My only issue was the computer didn't issue a receipt, and told me that if I wanted one, I'd have to request it from one of the attendants. OK; this car wash is strictly good for cleaning the salt from your vehicle. I paid $7, for their "WORKS". One below the best wash they offer and my car was washed........but it didn't have that high gloss clean shine you get from say a; "Jax Car Wash" or "Mr. C's". So my over all rating is 6 out of 10, obviously the two car washs I mentioned are a little pricey $10+ a wash, but you get what you pay for. No good.. strictly for emergency purposes only.. when I got out to go into my appointment, the back of my car looked like crap. There was still dirt around the lisence plate and on the bumper. The side mirrors were cloudy. Again I will only be using them in emergency situations only. read more

Extremely poor ownership. I put 7 quarters in the manual wash car wash and it did not become operational. This service only requires 6 quarters but I wasn't sure if one of the quarters did not register. The next step was to notify the owner about the issue. He reset the service but would not refund me the 25 cents that I over paid. His response was that he did not really care. I stated that he was willing to loose future business for a measly 25 cents. He said business was booming and he did not care. Will not ever come back. read more

This automatic car wash does not always clean your car as expected and the staff can be very rude if they are called out on any problems and a re-wash is almost always out of the question. This is unacceptable in a time when the value of the dollar is so low and competition is so high. One should at least be able to dispute poor service, but this falls on mute ears here. Better off driving farther away to get better service. read more
