My companion enjoyed a lovely Old Fashioned to start. I ordered the Turkey stroganoff, while he had the shrimp and grits. When the plates came out, I thought the veil was finally about to slip. They were well-plated, but huge. And yet...the veil didn't slip. It was haute-cuisine comfort food goodness in what looked like a converted warehouse space. Unreal! Though turkey is often too dry, my stroganoff was moist and succulent. The sauce was much more than just cream of mushroom -- lots of flavor and not too much salt. We had a time of it. I'd happily come back here again and again.

The prices were way too high for what we received, and there are plenty of other places where you can get better food, better prices, and much better overall service. And to be clear, this is not directed at the bartender or waitress personally. They were doing their jobs, and I have no disrespect toward them. My issue is with the overall experience, the food, the quality control, and the fact that I paid good money for a meal that I ultimately couldn't stomach because I was so disgusted. Finding hair in your food is gross enough once. Finding it again after the food was corrected is absolutely disgusting and something a restaurant should never let happen. Unfortunately, this was a huge disappointment, and I definitely won't be rushing back. There are better options out there that are cleaner, more reasonably priced, and provide a much better dining experience.
