I did get additional quotes, but I ultimately chose Vincent's because of the confidence I had in their people, and I can honestly say it was the right decision. I especially want to recognize Brandon, who led this project. From the beginning, he was incredibly thorough, knowledgeable, patient, and professional. He took the time to clearly explain what needed to be done and why, and the approach that would be taken to get it done, which gave me a tremendous amount of confidence moving forward. When Brandon and Sean showed up together on the very first morning to begin the work, I knew without any doubt the job was going to be done thoroughly and the right way. Sean has consistently been reliable, skilled, and respectful every time he has come to my house over the years, and this project was no exception. Beyond his knowledge and professionalism, he treats people with genuine kindness and patience, which matters just as much. Breonna was equally impressive. She worked incredibly hard, was extremely knowledgeable, and clearly played a huge role in keeping a project of this scale moving efficiently and smoothly. Lathan not only helped with the work being done, but also made sure my yard was restored afterward with grass seed and straw. Those extra details matter to homeowners, and it showed a level of pride and care that is rare. What impressed me most was the attitude and professionalism of the entire crew. They showed up exactly when they said they would, completed the entire project in only four days, exactly how long they told me it would take, and stayed positive and professional the entire time. For a project this extensive and intimidating, they made the entire process feel manageable. The organization and cleanliness throughout the project were honestly unbelievable. For a job of this size, I hardly had any cleanup to do afterward at all, which was incredibly important while working full-time, and going to school full-time during finals week. For the first time in the 10 years I have owned my home, my basement is completely dry. No standing water, no musty smell, and no anxiety every time it rains. I had a shower valve on an older shower that needed to be replaced, it was a bit of an emergency. To be frank, they were the only entity that said they could do it that day. A lady contacted me back quickly and was up front with the fact their employees were on another job, but would stop by after. They were also up front with the price - $165 an hour. Now, I'm not sure if that was due to the emergency or if that was the regular call rate, but it did take me back. That said, I agreed, the lady asked what type of unit I had (a Moen) and I waited roughly about two and half hours before the men came to work on it. The two young men that came were very professional, asked what preliminary work I had done, and what the issue was. The unit inside the valve was evidently completely broken, and they had the correct part to fix it. Bottom line, they were able to complete the job within an hour, and with parts it was about $260. All in all, I was pleased with the overall work. Was it more than I wanted to pay? Yes, but I couldn't argue with the work done and the result, which is a better working valve than I originally had.
