The resort has so much to offer, including a gorgeous golf course, a volleyball court, and three swimming areas. When we first arrived, we spent some time walking around the property and taking in everything. The grounds are beautiful and very well maintained. The location is also a huge plus. It's not far from Universal Studios, and if you don't have a car, an Uber or Lyft is an easy and inexpensive option. There are several restaurants on the property. The food was decent, although the prices were a little high--which I guess is to be expected at a hotel resort. One of my favorite surprises was the 24-hour shopping area on the ground floor near the pool. It was so convenient because they had pretty much anything you could need during your stay. And the pizza there was actually really good! Our room was clean, smelled fresh, and was perfectly fine for what we needed. Nothing over-the-top, but comfortable and well maintained. The staff, however, really stood out. Everyone we encountered was friendly, welcoming, and helpful, which made the stay even better. Overall, I would definitely stay here again, especially if we're taking another cruise out of Orlando. It's a convenient location, beautiful property, friendly staff, and a great place to spend a night or two before your cruise.

The staff are always very attentive and kind. This is a private course tucked into the heart of Dr. Phillips. They have a putting green, driving range, short game practice area, pro shop, beautiful locker rooms, restaurant and bar with large patio. The course itself is an 18 holes with varying obstacles; lots of water, sand traps, elevations (for Florida standards) and some narrow fairways.

This place was perfect for that. Paid $24 each for 9 holes and a cart. We paid $15 to rent clubs since we didn't bring our own clubs. We didn't bring golf balls so we bought 2 dozen gently used balls. The staff was friendly and helpful but the course (especially the greens) was in rough shape. I played hundreds of rounds growing up in Indian River County for amateur golf. 25 years ago the…read morecourse was in pretty good shape for a municipal course, but having played it just recently for the first time in nearly 15 years, what their head pro and management has accomplished is nothing less than remarkable. It literally gives many of the private courses in the area a run for its money. Greens fees for 18 holes are affordable; if you are from out of town 18 holes can run you around $135 with a cart, but the premium is totally worth it! I believe if you are a county resident you receive a pretty good discounted rate. Nonetheless, they are in the midst of building a new clubhouse, and have completely renovated most of the course. The tee boxes are OK for a municipal, but the fairways and greens are epic! The greens roll true, and it's a fun Florida dune style course. I had a great experience and a pleasurable round. I see it possibly becoming the premier public course in the State of Florida.

I used the resortpass to help plan the best daycation at the pool and cabanas at The Ritz Carlton Orlando Resort. The cabana was absolutely beautiful and very accommodating fully finished with stocked mini fridge, tv, daybed, 4 lounge chairs, ample seating, and towels. We had a pool attendant who took excellent care of us and made sure we never went hungry. The resort pass day pass for the cabana included chip, guacamole, salsa and a fruit platter which was almost too beautiful to eat. Although the fridge came stocked with water and beverages we decided to add on nonalcoholic piña coladas and strawberry daiquiris to quench our thirst. They were so delicious! Later in the day we ordered chicken wings, a chicken quesadilla, and cheese burgers and fries. It's hard to believe that the cheese burger came from the pool restaurant, it was excellent!! If you haven't booked with resortpass yet, what are you waiting for! Thank you ritzcarltonorlando for making my mom's birthday so SPECIAL!!

The city claims they are not liable for this although no warnings or netting is up to prevent this incident from occurring! We could have been seriously injured and/or it could have caused a major accident due to zero negligence on my behalf and yet they hold zero blame. I didn't even get an apology. I will now dedicate my personal time towards changing this situation!! The complete and utter lack of accountability is astounding!
