This place is huge,…read morewith plenty of parking, although parking fees have gone up $10 on Saturdays and $20 on Sundays. From what I understand, they're open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekends, and Wednesdays and Fridays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. There are lots of food trucks and plenty of seating throughout the market. It can get pretty crowded at times, especially on Sundays, but overall it's manageable. The restrooms have always been clean whenever we've visited, and there are ATMs available on site. You can find almost anything here clothes, household items, snacks, and more making it a fun place to spend a few hours with family. There's also a large produce section with a bakery right in the center, which gets very busy but is worth checking out. Overall, it's a lively spot with plenty to see and do, making it a great place to spend time with family if you don't mind the crowds. The value is decent if you plan to spend a few hours browsing, grabbing a bite, or making some purchases, though the high weekend parking fees do bring it down. One thing to note: we've occasionally encountered teens and sometimes older men approaching people asking for money, claiming they need it for food. Later, we've seen them gathered in small groups. Just something to be aware of stay alert and mindful of your surroundings.

When we asked workers can they direct us to like 2nd hand items, rummage or garage sale stuff, they couldn't direct us to resaleable items either. It makes you wonder how much are they charging their vendors. We are looking for second hand items, antiques and vintage clothing at low bargain prices. DON'T SPEND YOUR MONEY!!! It's not a place were merchants can sell second hand items. Go to Capital Flea Market Saturday and Sunday instead, parking is free, and $2.50 a person.

The selection was small compared to similar outdoor markets, as was the event as a whole, with vendors selling jewelry, clothing, baskets, animal themed merchandise, and even Groot planters (at the Sassy Succulent Designs tent). Nothing too unique, but it was a carefree and positive atmosphere that beats your typical black friday shopping. Not much of a crowd, not much parking available (tiny lots were packed), not much music, and not much food on site (I only saw one food truck and one kettle corn stand)... Though a couple of the vendor tents were selling tasty desserts and treats to take home, and that alone made up for what seemed to be missing here. I got a cute baby size loaf of banana chocolate chip bread from the sweetest ladies at Lisa's Sweet Treats, and it was super delicious, I regret not getting more. That was the highlight of my visit!

Super cute and with a boho-chic vibe. During my last visit to Santa Cruz my friends and I enjoyed stopping by and getting some gifts for ourselves while walking around. By far one of the better Flea Markets in this area. We used to live in San Jose and came a couple…read moretimes a year to wander around and get some snacks in the early morning. It's been years since we visited and decided to come back. We got lucky with parking but it can be chaotic. The parking structure and spaces are small and you will inevitably get blocked trying to leave or get in from people waiting for spots. There is a good mix of new and old here and the booths and stands are in general very organized and orderly. I also love the shaded covered over most of the parking lot, it provides some protection from the elements. Some highlights form our last visit: -There used to be a vendor here that sold really nice wool socks that were soft and thick. We weren't able to find him anymore, it was a middle aged man with a mustache, if anyone knows the name please shoot me a message. -A really nice guy was selling pokemon card repacks with cusotm packaging and my kids loved them! He was super nice and was giving away free pokemon stuff to kids. -2 booths had very clean vinyl records and cassette tapes. My brother enjoyed digging through these.

I attend maybe two or three times a year, whenever I'm looking for special, vintage treasures, or the occasional seasonal plants or succulents for my garden. You really can't beat the variety and prices here. This visit I found two gallon-sized plants for $5 each, a purple kale plant for $3, and 11 mini succulents for $1-2 each, plus a pretty glass bowl to hold an orchid plant. I spent nearly 2 hours here and only managed to walk through half of the flea market! It's fun to see people walking through the parking aisles sometimes pulling wagons or carts to hold their many purchases or cradling their new orchid plants. If you're hungry, there are food trucks near De Anza's Euphrat Museum. Come early for best selection. You'll definitely get your steps in here!
