A multi million dollar renovation several years back has elevated this course to an elite status. We've hosted the WSGA State open several times. Stricker won the last one here in 2000 in a very tight match on the 18th hole. Talk is it'll be back soon. Last year we held a USGA Senior Open qualifier to rave reviews. No player broke par. I asked about 30 players about the course and everyone of them congratulated us on the conditions and fair and challenging layout. Ride or not. The steak came with caramelized sautéed mushrooms and onions that were a wonderful compliment. The asparagus was nicely grilled with great flavor and a good crunch, something that I loved because I hate mushy over cooked asparagus. The baby red potatoes were also perfectly cooked and seasoned. I have an extremely high appreciation for the culinary industry and the art that goes in to quality food, and the meal I had here today clearly presented the strong passion of the Chef who prepared it. I would definitely recommend scheduling a tee time in advance, especially if you have a group. The course is in great shape and I especially loved the back nine with the flowers and a few holes along the brook. After playing, you can get a half priced drink at the bar with your receipt. The Bloody Mary was delicious, made spicy and garnished with a seasoned pickle, and the bartender was kind and friendly.

Coming out here from Chicago for a guys weekend, we were welcomed by everyone at the course, which is NOT typical of other places we have visited in Wisconsin. I would highly recommend this course. Proved to have some difficult holes but was so much fun. Bathrooms are very clean, easy course to get to and no issues getting a tee time.
