From mystery fees, to terrible automated customer service calls when I have an issue, I always hate using Bank of America beyond the ATM. I frequent the Cranston location as the staff here are always wonderful. Megan, the branch manager, is always pleasant and extremely helpful whenever I have special needs. I went in with my boyfriend to fill out an application for a secured credit card and she personally walked us through the process step by step. She even followed up with a couple of calls to give me status reports as she got notifications of approval. The tellers there are always sweet and smiling, chatting with me about different things. The tellers make a personal connection with me every time my boyfriend and I come in. They even give my dog treats in the drive-thru when she is with me on my errands. I highly recommend Coastway to anyone looking for a more personal banking experience. Here you always feel like a person and not another account number. The drive-up banking and ATM is up the hill a bit from the actual Ocean State Credit Union office; this makes driving in the entrance and exit to this area a breeze! Perhaps avoid a visit on icy days as there is a decent degree of incline to access everything. Within the last year or so the, drive-up ATM here was upgraded to a newer model. Screen is easy to read and I can easily pull up and reach all the buttons in my lower-to-the-ground vehicle. The machine is under cover so you can remain relatively dry on rainy days. Seemingly popular location depending on the time of day but the line usually progresses quickly. I recommend this ATM location if you are in need!

I presented my Driver's License and most recent bank statement to R. the teller. He asked me if one of the staff knows me. I asked why and he stated it was due to the amount I was withdrawing into a bank check. I mentioned a staff person and was told that person was not in. He then asked if I had my debit card and I told him I did and he stated that would suffice for verifying my identity. He should have asked for my debit card before asking if a staff person could vouch for me. I put in my debit card and PIN number then he transferred me to the other teller. I don 't understand why I was transferred He was seen chitchatting with another staff person The other teller was disheveled in appearance and had a stained polo top but was nice. I have been a customer of this branch since 1996 and will not be returning. In the past five years there has been a high turnover of staff. It is not the friendly branch where I opened my account . I will be doing my banking at a nearby branch in Warwick where there is professionalism, genuine friendliness,where I do not feel interrogated and the male tellers are attired in suits.
