This location is small, but effective. There are people waiting at 7:45am for services via "walk-in". The only issue I have is that I needed a chest x-ray, so I intended to make an appointment. After the laboreous take to set the appointment online, I was met with the fat that x-rays could only be made as "walk-ins". I was fortunate in that they accommodated me very quickly by making adjustments so that I could be serviced within 10-15 minutes. The odd part is that my x-ray session only took 3-4 minutes. I am not sure why there are any delays for x-ray procedures. Anyway, they were very nice, and the factility was very clean. read more

This is the most horrible medical facility I have ever seen. I recently had some abdominal pain (too much spicy foods? :) My doctor ordered an X-Ray of the abdomen with just 1 View. I went to Wave 7 times in 4 days and kept on getting the runaround without getting the X-Ray done. I made an appointment online and rushed out from work to get there and was told : "someone just took that appointment! We're going to give you another appointment now." So 3 days later, I left work early and rushed out again, to get there for them to tell me they can't do it because the technician that performs that procedure has left for the day (and I was 12 minutes early!). Then they gave me ANOTHER appointment. When I got there again this time, they told me that their machine is broken and they can't do it. It's just so unbelievable and very unprofessional. So frustrating and exhausting. On and on, they had all kinds of excuses. How could anyone run a business or a medical facility like that? They told me to try the Irvine location. I went there to find out that Irvine doesn't do it! I called their Newport Beach facility and the person that answered the phone confirmed 4 times, "yes, we do perform that procedure here. You need to get here before 4:45 pm." Like a fool, I took her words and rushed there despite heavy traffic on a Friday afternoon. Got there by 4:30 pm and their front desk person said: "I don't know who told you that but no, we don't have any technician here to perform that procedure!" I was at my wit end so I called my doctor's office asking for referral to a different radiology facility. A patient navigator suggested that I go to Memorialcare Radiology Department in San Juan Capistrano and she made the appointment for me. I wish that was done the first time around. Vinyl chairs are ripped, walls are dirty with black stains, there's markings on the floor, stain on carpets, stuff on the ceilings! Vile. It looks like a gas station restroom! I had an appointment at 2pm and didn't start imaging until 3pm. Their front desk staff had constant IT issues including poor printing and slow computers/wifi. My imaging order wasn't attached to my appointment for some reason and they had no queuing system to keep track of who came in and when. To top it all off, they charge for parking and don't validate meaning my visit which should have taken less than 20 minutes and charged like 1.20 instead ended up being like 7 dollars. Whoever is running this office needs to be let go. Your staff aren't being given the tools to succeed. read more

Worst medical experience I've ever had in my life. I showed up at 7:45 for my MRI at 8 despite confirming the appointment earlier in the day for them to tell me that my order never got filled. I got my doctor on the phone before 8pm to give a verbal approval just for them to say that they had turned off the machine that I was supposed to be using. They scheduled me the next day and scheduled me for the wrong machine after all of that. Can't make this stuff up. read more

Super annoying that the times online did not reflect when I went in. It said under 15 min. Online however when we showed up it was over 1 hour. Poor kid was super hungry. Had I known I would have brought him something to snack on. The staff were polite and helpful, doing the best they can despite the afternoon rush. The x ray took less than 5 min. Was scheduled to get an X-ray here by my doctor. When I arrived, I was told the tech was going to leave soon, even though I had an appointment (that I was on-time for). When I got called back the tech was physically and verbally abusive. I was absolutely shocked - he pushed me hard several times to 'position me'. I didn't say anything because I needed the X-ray to be done. All because he wanted to leave and he had to finish my appointment. Definitely avoid this place. read more

While talking to employee at a call center by phone to set my appointment I was told no parking fee$ there is a parking fee. When I arrived at business I walked in office. I pased 3 employees. No one wanted to look up to help me! I went to a third employee and asked who or where do I sign in? An employee pointed back at 2 employees. I looked back and stood in front of 2 employees. To my surprise only 1 employee looked up! If this is the kind of C/S you like this is the place. This is the starting point I have not been seen yet. Will provide an update after my MRI is completed. This imaging center needs a full haulover of employees or better management and it needs to fulfilled fast! Their xray and ultrasound team at this particular location seem alright but their other location downstairs and scheduling has issues.. i needed two sets of CT scans done and an xray and also an ultrasound to get done but they could not get everything done on the same day. I was able to get 3 out of the 4 done but ONE CT had to be done on another day (tomorrow when this gets posted.) I get to my CT scan appointment last week on the 21st at 7:15 and saw on the door that business hours was 8AM to 5PM and im like "okay do they know they made appointments before 8am?" Comes to find out as one patient tells me their appointment was at 7:10am at the same office that there was another entrance! So many complaints were made by different people for the Suite 130 location upstairs at 243. NO CLEAR SIGNAGE for anything downstairs. As for me personally, Got a text message saying that i needed new labs done for creatinine and that to call to have appointment rescheduled. In my mind i was like who the heck is this? Then i went to check my email and found a message from wave and im like ok...and went into the portal finding the same exact message and decided to give them a call. I SUPPOSEDLY got a voicemail stating that they needed for tomorrow's appointment a new set of labs for the CT scan appointment and that my appointment was cancelled. I asked the scheduling person who cancelled the appointment and she was not inclined to tell me but gave me the local number for the location to call them when i asked for it. The front desk person for suite 130 answered didnt seem to understand one i said unless i said it extremely slow. FINALLY got the person that supposedly made the call and repeated to me that i needed this labwork done before the CT scan was suppose to be done. So you are telling me THE day BEFORE my appointment there was a requirement for it? Why couldnt have this be said when i was there a week BEFORE when i was there for another appointment or when i scheduled this appointment two weeks BEFORE?!?! At this point i was super pissed off with this person who didnt state their name when picking up the line and told me that once i get that lab work done that i can call back to reschedule the appointment in which i told them i will NOT be rescheduling with them and taking my business elsewhere! The only thing im giving this Wave imaging/Radnet site credit for is their Xray and Ultrasound team in Suite 243 as they were very accomodating to all their patients and informing them about any waits or scheduling issues. read more

I tried calling 3 separate times and the voice system took my data and then hung up after asking if I would want to talk with the same person, yet I never got to a live person. Your system is killing business and upsetting to the patient! My final call I got through and was on hold for 4 minutes listening to a breast exam commercial over and over. Ditto all the other 1-star reviews. Walked-in as mandated for a simple radiograph. No openings, rescheduled for 4 days later. Arrived at 7.10 am. No techs available until a substitute was called in and arrived an hour later to begin a now backed-up waiting room. Seemed unfamiliar with their equipment which indeed everything looked very old. I looked at his screen on my way out. It's my spine with titanium, but it looks like the Black Hole in Space. (Like the MRI I had 2 yrs ago at their now-closed Laguna Woods location, bad experience and bad MRI images. Looks nothing like a spine. I've managed multi-location Med practices each with their own Lab and Xray in LA. There's no mgmt here. Laguna Woods has 19,000 seniors with senior maladies. I am very disappointed with the service I received at Wave Imaging Saddleback. My doctors were looking for cancer and I had an MRI of the abdomen and pelvis done. It took two weeks for the Wave Imaging radiologist to read my MRIs and issue a report to my doctor. This is an outrageous length of time. Then, I have had, and still have, problems using the patient portal. Every time I try to logon, it locks me out. I tried to reset the password, and after I reset the password, it does not allow me to login and it locks me out. The only way to get assistance is to send them an email. They do not have a phone number available for patients. And, no one responds when you send an email. I have never dealt with the company so unwilling to respond to patients problems. I will say that the reception women are wonderful at the front desk. However, with the rest of the employees not backing up patients, it is a center. I will never return to again. read more

The front desk people here do NOT want to help you. We were here with an emergency order for my toddlers arm, he fell this morning, it sucked. They knew we were here on an emergency, they watched us walk in with a kid, told us they can't take walk in but told us to sit so we can schedule to another spot. Well, I thought we were getting lucky bc someone else who showed up AFTER us with an appointment is now cancelling! I arrived at 8:50 for my 9 am appointment and was seen by 9:05 and was walking out the door by 9:20. Everyone that I interacted with was friendly, professional and polite. AVOID AVOID AVOID!!! Very frustrating experience. I needed an MRI to schedule a surgery, it was a specific 2 hour MRI so finding a slot that long was very challenging. I also had to be fasting so mornings were the specific needed time. Comes the day of my appointment, I get a call as I was about to leave that their MRI machine is down and they are canceling the appointment!! I was shocked as I had never experienced this anywhere else!! They said we need to reschedule, a week after the original date. I get to their office early AM as scheduled and machine was down again!! They said you can wait to see if the technician can fix it... another patient was sitting in the waiting room very angry with MRI gown on, she said the machine broke while she was inside... this was also her second time being there due to reschedule... we waited over an hour and meanwhile I ask the guy at the front desk to start looking for an appointment at their other locations, of course nothing available until the 29th, which basically means I lost the entire month of February running after this MRI before I could schedule my surgery. All of a sudden we hear there's a chance the machine will get fixed and luckily it did. I would never go back here again, this place is a disaster!!! **I'm adding a star for the wonderful technician that started my MRI, she was Persian or Afghan... but then the Asian woman came in to administer the contrast and she was extremely sloppy in her work. read more

I visited this location when it was in the 4th floor. They have now moved to a bigger location on the first floor. Parking is not comped, so unless you can get in and out within the 30 min free option, you are going to have to pay. Irvine's location is bigger and parking is free. When I was here, I was livid that the young kid was disclosing very loudly what my procedure was and other HPI and major legit Hippa violations. NOT GOOD AND NOT OK. I had to sternly take him to the side along with his supervisor and teach this buck a lesson. I guarantee he won't be doing that again. I came back to get records in the new location and was impressed with the layout. It is open floor plan, very spacious, and inviting. The lady at the front was nice and helpful. It was getting a bit backed up. But solely Based on previous experience with the idiot on the upper floor I probably wont come here, unless 100% last resort or emergency basis from clinician's in the building. I would probably go to Irvine instead. Maybe things have changed with employees. Who knows. read more

To be honest, I was shocked by the poor service here. Due to I had some confusion with my MRI test and like to asked for help. The manager Ms. Gabriela met me and told me that she will be call me next Monday, but she didn't. I had gone to their office. The front desk asked me to wait a few minutes she will to see me. However, I waited their office for an hour and didn't see her came out. I had to came their office again next day. But was told that she was in meeting and don't know what time the meeting would end. When I asked to talk to a top manager, she came out soon to meet me two minutes later, but had a bad attitude. It was a terrible experience. read more

Not a good experience. After their web server came back with an error code when I booked my appointment, I trusted that they would see walk-in appointments for X-rays, as is announced on the website. When I showed up at the appointment time, I was told that I could not be seen and I was given an appointment for three hours later. The waiting rooms were filled to capacity when I returned. After I had waited ca. 40 minutes, the receptionist announced that they had technical difficulties and that the wait was much longer (no estimate was given). During my wait, I saw one person called ca. every 10 minutes, so I figured it would have been another two hours. I left w/o my X-ray and I will try to book with a reputable imaging place like Crown Valley Imaging, who are excellent in my experience. read more

Worst ever! This place is more frustrating than calling the IRS! Horribly trained staff if you do manage to get a living body on the phone. Website sucks can't set appt. Called 12 times trying to get help, yes 12 times, today 1/10/25 simply trying to set an xray appt. Talked to 4 people all trying to set xray appt and first 3 reps, the call mysteriously dropped while setting appointment. So phones suck too. No one bothered to call back of course. All reps tell you different information. Not sure if reps I talked to on phone are on site or if it's call center but either way horrible service. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE - Read other reviews before goong to this place!!!!!! Mismanagement and unprofessional staff and training failure!!!. I came to this radiology center for an MRI and, after almost an hour of sitting in pain, I asked how much longer I would have to wait. They told me the technician was running behind and it would be at least another 40 minutes before my turn. I contacted their office manager (Ronda), and she acknowledged that the delays have been happening every day for the past few days because the equipment is new and takes longer for the technicians to operate. Additionally, the staff, who are also new, failed to inform patients about the delay. This is clearly a terrible case of mismanagement and training failure. The worst part is they are dealing with sick patients who are often waiting in pain and anxiety. read more

Run from this place! The Cat scan tech (Asian) is probably the worst, bad mannered employee ever. I went in for a scan and he told me to put my arms above my head. I had just had shoulder surgery as well as suffering from frozen shoulders. He proceeded to run me through the scan with my arms not able to go through. My body weight stopped the machine and he continued to shame me saying he's done this for 22 years and never had a person not able to do as he says. He finally let my arms go by my side when he stated this will not be a good scan. He had me take off my necklaces, but not my bra which was full of varies pieces of metal. In a desperate attempt to call him on this, NO ONE RETURNED MY CALLS. DO NOT GO HERE. Period! read more

It is now ten days since my MRI and I still have no results. I have called various numbers and been told they flagged it as "urgent" but still no results. I understand that there may be a shortage of radiologists, but if that is the case, then they should stop scheduling MRIs until they get rid of the backlog. Or they could tell you when you schedule an appointment that your report might not be available for a long time. I think it is malpractice to let you come in for a test and then not provide any results in a reasonable period of time! read more

Reading my past review here, I believe this Magdalena address is a new location for this office. I do not recall ever coming here, but I do remember my experience from my past review. I was here earlier in the week for an MRI of my lower back. I parked in a parking structure in front of the building, and went up to the second floor. The notice on the door states their hours are 8am - 5pm, but my appointment was at 7:30am with a 7:15am expected arrival. Of course, I was early, and the door was locked right up until 7:15am, which was fine. I waited in the hallway. The sign on the door was very confusing, and a woman from another suite saw me, and stated they usually dont show up until around 8am. I was the first patient, and after filling out some paperwork, I paid my bill - which was $400. My insurance works with a third party who denied my MRI, stating I didnt need it. Its awesome when someone behind a desk has control over your medical health without knowing anything. I was a cash patient, and my insurance company told me I would pay $562, so the $400 was welcomed. I was taken in the back and shown the dressing room and given a gown. I was prepared, no underwire, no zippers, etc. so I got to wear my clothing that I came in with. I locked my purse in the cabinet and went right in for my MRI. I was given earplugs, and headphones and asked what kind of music I wanted. The MRI was to last about 20 minutes, I think it was closer to about 10. The room was on the warm side, but it was comfortable. Again when I was done, I had trouble getting up from the table. During the MRI, the pain was unbearable and I started to cry a little bit, those tears you dont know are coming until they roll down your face, and you cant move during an MRI so you have to just let them go. When I sat up I started to actually cry, and the gentleman who did my MRI was very nice and patient with me, and it was appreciated. After I was done, I grabbed my purse and was on my way. They validated my parking ticket in the beginning so that was nice. I asked to have the results faxed to me, on top of my doctor and I received them the next day. read more

AVOID-Do not go to any wave imaging center. A year ago, my husband was sent here for an exam. He gets there and is informed that the location doesn't have the right equipment, but the location in San Clemente does. They call ahead for us, say you are all set, and they are waiting for you. We get to San Clemente and are told their CT machine has been down for days. Today, I was supposed to have 3 exams done. I scheduled them 2 weeks in advance to ensure I could complete them in one trip. I fill out all forms online ahead of time. They have no record of that. I'm sent upstairs, where the nice ultrasound tech informed me they only had me down for one exam and that the scheduling was messed up, and I had to come back. I also needed an X-ray and was told they are done on a walk-in basis only and cannot be scheduled. So i say - well can i at least get my xray done? It's 1 pm, they closed at 5 pm and told me no, they were booked, and again- come back another day! To top it off, the 14-year-old secretary was discussing another patient's prior pelvic exams and medical history so loud you could hear her down the hall. Has no one told her about HIPPA? Most poorly run, unprofessional imaging facility i have ever been to and I have over 30 years of radiology experience. I would be embarrassed to work here. What a joke. read more

2 weeks after the MRI the report is not sent to me or my Dr. No matter how many times you or your Dr's office call their medical record it goes to the voice message. It seems like no one is working there in their medical record department. Do Not make the same mistake as I did and take your MRI somewhere else. This is my second review, my first review I explained that I had wait 1,5 hour with appointment for the actual MRI and no one there can explain why or help you with your complain. read more

Let's start with the fact the parking is a structure that takes you a half hour to find a spot where a car fits and you don't get someone slamming their door into yours. The structure is so far from the building, but it is another 20 minutes to walk. To make matters worse, you pay for the parking. When you get into LabCorp, they will most certainly lose your orders. He will sit on the phone for many minutes with your doctor faxing the orders back, but this takes time because things are slow behind the counter. Highly recommend going elsewhere. After having a nightmare of a visit at Good Samaritan Hospital up in LA to have the same procedure done (ultrasound guided thyroid biopsy), I was very pleased to be in and out of this place within 30 minutes. It was quick and minimally painless. Well, as painless as it's going to be to have a needle stabbed into your neck jiggled around multiple times. All the staff was nice. Minimal paperwork. The only gripe I'd have is parking. Luckily I found a street spot right outside, but I can see how that might be a problem for others. read more

My husband was diagnosed with Prostate cancer (moderate/aggressive) on May 17, 2022. We would still be waiting for a Pet/CT scan appointment from this facility. Today is June 14, 2022. Our insurance company APPROVED this procedure, but they REFUSED to schedule him. Summer is the on-site scheduler. We had to go to a referred doctor to get an appointment from their staff. We are now scheduled; NOT THERE, thank you Lord! They had the audacity to call on Friday (June 10th), to advise him they were still working on it. After waiting a week to hear from Compliance Customer Service, I'll post a review and see if this gets their attention. DO NOT USE THIS LOCATION for an MRI or MRA. The female technician for my MRA needs extensive retraining--she was short and abrupt, acted in a hurry to get the procedure done, and most importantly, shoved earplugs into my ears (one in each hand at the same time) without any warning or permission. It felt harsh and my ears throbbed afterward and the next day because I have extremely sensitive ear canals and NEVER use earplugs. When I told her what I thought of her behavior, she said, "most people don't know how to insert earplugs into their ears, so I just do it." She hurriedly put a basket-type mask over my face with no heads up or explanation. When I left, she was long gone, no one was at the front desk and from what I could see, no one else was around. Reading other complaints, this place doesn't seem to have a very good reputation. read more

First of all, my paperwork said I was supposed to go to MemorialCare Imaging. I couldn't find an address in the paperwork so I googled it and found an address on Google. Turns out that address was wrong and I wandered around Calle de la Magdalena for 20 minutes. I even wandered into the right building but the sign downstairs has no listing for MemorialCare Imaging, only Saddleback Radiology. Called the phone number ask for directions and got a recording that the office was closed. I scoured the paperwork again and turns out the list of centers, which is listed by city, alphabetically, lists this particular center as Saddleback. Despite the map section listing it as Laguna Hills. And the map section is completely useless. Finally got into the office only to be told that I'll now have to wait 40 minutes for the next appt. Just a little bit of consistency would be good here. Updated signage would be AWESOME! read more
