Relatively new to the Lewes area and visited Waves a few times. I give them five stars because they pay attention to details. They have an army of people drying the car after the automatic wash. On a full service wash they wipe down the door wells and remove the floor mats from the car for cleaning. They are also very honest. They must have found some loose coins on the floor. They put them into the cup holder. Did I mention they have a senior discount on Tuesdays? There is no doubt I will continue frequenting this business. I also leave a tip in the tip bucket for these hard working staff members. read more

I had to share the best customer service and car cleaning experience I've ever had. To start the friendly host informed me of my options and processed my requests quickly. And the wash was quick and entertaining (as a kid, I would have loved it.) Even with the basic wash my car came out shining and I can only imagine how amazing it would look with the additional services. The most impressive part of my visit though was the time, effort, and dedication the employees put in to making sure the inside of the car was spotless when I left. We have a dog who loves the beach and the staff took the time to vacuum out all the sand and hair that had accumulated, and then cleaned up my coffee stains and the mess I make up front on a daily basis. And to top it off, they helped me arrange my car radio antennae to a position that was better than when I arrived. I'm not sure how the staff are motivated but the owners deserve praise for how wonderful their employees are. And I would recommend this car wash any day! read more

Great automatic car wash in Lewes. I signed up for $29.99 unlimited monthly and it's worked out well for me. All the staff are friendly and hard working. Love the free coffee, too. I know many people loves Waves, and their exterior wash is pretty good. But if you are under the canopy for full service you might be disappointed. Their swam of bees lack coordination and leadership. Nobody seems to have a clear roll, hence much redundancy and many gaps in service. Yesterday while in line I watched three bees enter to rear of the small SUV in front of me and wash the same windows three times. Likewise outside windows washed over and over. The line advances and it's my turn. I ask, as I always do when stepping out, "can you please blow the water out of the mirrors?"., and I'm always met with blank stares. I often repeat my request once or twice until I think someone understands, but do they do it; not a chance. Most every time I drive away, and once the sun hits the interior, boom, the swam missed half the dash, or half the front window, and always the underside of the steering wheel. Many bees, but no leadership or quality standards. And they charge over $30 for a full service car wash. read more

I just stopped by Waves to get my car washed. I love this place ! Very friendly hard working crew !! I read the previous reviews and feel Waves has been judged Harshly! I feel some people are never happy. Waves does a good job. My car is full of dog hair and sand. I know when I leave Waves it is so much better then when I came - clean, and dog hair and sand free!! Maybe some people confuse a car wash with a detail ?!? The owners here are passionate to serve their clients with top notch customer service. I do not know these owners personally. The finish on all 4 alloy wheels is damaged/discolored with fine abrasive marks engrained in all directions on each wheel. The wheels were NOT damaged prior to entering the car wash. They denied responsibility and said it's because my car is old. Pollen left on roof and other places. Workers are kind and I can overlook the pollen but I can't recommend a place where the man I complained to was rude. Very disappointed at the lack of professionalism, especially to a local who has used this car wash before. This is my first review and hopefully my last. read more

Very disappointing, as Waves came recommended. I got the pipieline package and, at additional cost, a full service interior add-on. Basically, I paid so the car would be clean on the inside and outside when they were done. A few minutes after leaving, we found garbage under the seat, dust on the dashboard and all the doors, and the mirrors all had streaks and smudges. Overall, poor service at a high price. read more

Tried this car wash for the first time recently with my wife Donna's car, our 06 Lincoln Town car. Was impressed with the service provided by the entire staff from the first interaction to the last at the final detail area. Everyone there goes above and beyond to ensure that you are satisfied. Upon seeing how well they do I decided to bring my car in, a 2015 Mustang GT Black in color, and I was not disappointed in the workmanship the staff and equipment provided. Needless to say that I am a regular now. As for the price very reasonable for the service provided. My only problem is should I join their monthly unlimited car wash program and which car should get it. Any opinions would be greatly appreciated. read more

If you are a new"local" to a beach area and have lived away from the ocean, you need to understand something important. Your car is not in the city anymore it is in an environment that is different and if you do not keep your car clean it, it is not going to look good and is going to have issues --mechanical and cosmetic crop up due to the impact of salt and sand. The closer you live to the water, the more important this becomes. If you buy and keep your car long enough to care, go to Waves and buy a wash unlimited package. It's worth it. Its modern, fast and in an easy location for Rt 1 and Savannah Rd. This is critical in summer when traffic changes everything. If you have errands, knock off an entire list within 2 minutes of Waves. Its newer cleaner and well staffed with shiny faces! I have an unlimited package-If you wash your car a couple times a month it pays to do it that way. Ive been away and suspended it, no biggie. If I need something special they handle that too. Bathrooms, coffee and if you want to sit outside and watch the pit crew do your car there are plenty of shaded chairs to sit outside and relax. You save water, time and potential injuries letting a pro do it. I abhor wasting money and this, gentle reader, is the way to go. read more

Plus my shed-happy dog comes with me quite a bit, so her hair gets everywhere, no matter what I do to control it. I go monthly and get the Works and the interior done. Love these guys!
