They've now added Burgers, tacos and Chicken sandwiches to the after 4pm dinner menu!! I'm so excited about this and I wish they would add these things to the lunch menu. This is the closest Wawa to my house and I've gone 100's of times and never had any major issue. Love the coffee and food and come here at-least once a week. Location is good and the people have always been friendly. Prices are standard to pretty good on most everything they sell. I prefer Wawa to sheetz but this is a good store to come to if you're in the area. read more

Wawa is wow wow! This one especially! I came in late morning and the Sizzlin' croissants were gone, but the deli manager was so accommodating and made me one fresh and hot! Then, the General Manager, Joe, asked if he could help me find anything.... I was looking for portable hand cleansers, they didn't stock it but he offered to bring me some moistened paper towels and was so polite and gracious! Now that's wawa-nderful service! Honestly, if someone doesn't like interacting with people, seems to hate crowds, and can't handle a bit of a rush then they shouldn't work in a convenience store-that being said all of the employees at this Wawa should find alternatives to income. I love Wawa, they are usually my preferred pit stops, but this store presented the worst environment. Wawa overall has changed their coffee to-go style, impacted by COVID originally they removed the pour your own station all together, and now while they brought it back there are still limitations (i.e flavor shots, community creamer choices, etc). When I attempted to make my coffee, I asked an employee if she knew where I could access the flavor shots that used to be out on the counter. I was trying to clarify if they were put back in, now that they re-arranged post-COVID, or if I still needed to create my coffee from the ordering system. The lady literally yelled at me, 'what do you want? Coffee flavor just use what's there.' When I tried to calmly explain I was just wondering how to make a flavored coffee, as I couldn't find the flavors or creamers out on the counters and I didn't see the option on the custom screens. After she continued to make rude comments at me, I decided to just pump the coffee and use milk & sugar..when I went to drink the coffee it was already luke warm. Ordered pizza that was made incorrectly and had to be remade. No problem.. this can happen. But was then RUDELY told that they were out of the garlic crust when I asked when dbl checking on what they were remaking. I said that it DID let me choose it when ordering..at which point the girl raced to the back and got my order slip and shoved it at me telling me it wasn't on the order. I said, you are out of it.. so that's is the bottom line.". So about 15 minutes later was told here's my pizza and they threw it across the counter and I asked her to open it and dbl check.. then she threw it in the window pickup area and told ME to check it there.. still not opening it. Usually my experiences with all Wawa's is superb! This location has some of the worst customer service in the deli. The Indian woman prepping food wouldn't even acknowledge that the order was correct from the other associate working there which was completely wrong. We even asked her about them as she was prepping the food and she completely ignored us. This is the last time I shop at this location for food or gas. read more

The employees here are awesome, but how are you always out of oatmeal by 6:30 am? This happens at least three times per week. I assume breakfast lasts until 10, so that's three and a half more hours with no oatmeal. Of course I only discover this AFTER I order and the line is held up while we try to figure out what to do. One day I overheard the manager say you aren't making more and it was still during the time period when people were still headed to work and wanting breakfast. This particular wawa in Mechanicsville used to be my all time favorite store. I would go in there regularly & see my favorite employees faces and talk with all like we were friends. Ever since the new manager KIM has began there, that store has been the worst environment. Now, everyone looks and seems miserable and Kim does NOT interact with customers at all. Kim is extremely rude and disrespectful as she is always throwing product into shelves and yelling at her employees very obviously in front of customers waiting on subs to be made. When I go in there and employees are slam busy Kim is hardly there to help. She is definitely the bad apple. Using profanity and disrespectful mannerisms to employees rubs off on them and customers SEE this. Other daily customers agree with me on this too. I have in fact seen one employee crying in the bathroom because of treatment from her. This store is falling apart ever since Kim has been in there. She's like the devil on your shoulder when your sitting in church on Sunday. Kim will cause this location to lose a lot of regular customers as I never thought I would be writing a 1 star review on this store simply because of her. Hopefully something will be done about her, otherwise she will cost wawa alot of lost money due to volume slowing down. Nobody wants to support a publicly awful disrespectful manager. If reprimand needs to be done, she needs to pull them in the office and not talk to these employees like DOGS. The best convenience store around. Best coffee selection. Always consistent and hot. Love their hoagies reminds me of northern style. Love all their made to order Items as they are always fresh. Also enjoy having the hundred plus choices for a soft drink Wawa's customer service is above all the other convenient stores as well as the cleanliness of the store. Don't waste your time on any of the others --- no names to mention ; just stop at Wawa and you won't be disappointed!!! read more

I really love Wawa and this location in particular. In addition to buying affordable gasoline, my wife and I enjoy all of the different Made-To-Order items that are available there along with fee-free ATMs. My favorite food from Wawa are their breakfast Sizzlis. I think that they are superior to most other fast food sandwiches that I've sampled over the years. The only reason that I'm giving this location four stars instead of five is that usually when I go in there, there are an abundance of bagel sizzlis, but they are out of the other types. Then someone comes out and brings even more bagel sizzlis. read more
