I've used that strategy my entire life, even into my Senior Citizen years. When we began the very short drive to the airport my car indicated I had 46 miles till empty. This wasn't optimal. But it was plenty for the airport trip & getting gas on a day with better weather. Much to my dismay it quickly dropped into the 20's. Having worked for Texaco (now Chevron) for a number years after graduating from undergraduate school, I was certain the 20'ish reading was correct & could go down further. One of my department rotations at Texaco was the State Gasoline Tax Department, each of which charged taxes in a different method. One of my states was calculated by the change in the main tanks in relation to the amount that had come into the state via the pipeline. Temperature variations played a complicated calculation because of the contraction & expansion caused by temperature. My son had enough time for us to make a detour to Military Highway for a fill up, I knew the price would probably be high because of the proximity to the airport & the rental car locations. Not so!! The Shell not only had a convenient location but a great price. The cost per gallon was much lower than other stations. And I was safely able to get home in bad weather. Shell, you have made me a believer. I'll return when in the Military Highway area.

There is no working hard to get the fruit off the core. Slice around the perimeter and just pull the sides apart, leaving only the core and no residue. They are absolutely perfect. Among my purchases was the Costco sized box of the Premier Protein Pancakes that I'm eating on my high protein diet. They come to packs of three and are soft, fluffy & yummy. Included in my food tracking is the 16g of protein that each serving of 3 provides. The final purchase today was one of their store prepared Kirkland Signature entrees. I thought my voice might have improved enough to eat out tonight. But I still have to strain and don't want to risk the progress. Costco's CHICKEN ALFREDO is prepared using their rotisserie chicken. It is made the perfect meal by adding frozen green peas, which make for a balanced meal. Delivery is especially beneficial. Thank you Costco for being my "go to" for some of my favorite foods.

The fried chicken was yummy, no complaints. The sliders I was a bit confused by. Why would you put the cheese on top? The cheese is not going to melt.
