Rose and Toasted Marshmallow Oat milk Latte- The coffee here comes in a fairly tall cup so that was an unexpected surprise! Such a cute bagel/sandwich place! It's located in the very fun colonial city area of norfolk, and the curb appeal is certainly there. The staff were all very nice, and the service was fast! The inside is also very modern and clean, with an upstairs I wasn't able to explore. I got a build your own bagel sandwich: Whole wheat everything bagel, pastrami, pepper jack cheese, avocado, tomato, and lettuce. The first bite was a perfect salty & savory experience. I also loved that the avocado was mashed instead of whole slices. Over all, a really good bagel! I just wish it was bigger, so I could have more to enjoy!! I also grabbed a carrot cake cookie. I thought this was diamond in the rough. The location and overall atmosphere was accommodating and welcoming. There was plenty of seating on the inside, even despite there being a line. And I really enjoyed that there was an outdoor option for when it's really nice outside. I thought for the price and taste. The food was delicious. It was nice to finally find a new bagel place. Our bagels were both delicious. My sandwich was yummy but I'll def ask them to be light on the cream cheese next time when I order a sandwich. It was very messy and kind of ruined being able to eat it. It would have also been nice if the sandwich was cut in half. A real gem of a restaurant. Food and service are perfection. Wide ranging vegan/vegetarian menu. Staff is totally awesome. Food was served expertly prepared. During a recent trip, my wife and I decided to try this bagel shop after reading all the glowing reviews. First impressions were promising--the place is super cute, the staff is very friendly, and the atmosphere makes you feel like you're about to enjoy an incredible bagel. Unfortunately, it didn't live up to expectations. We both tried the onion bagel with plain cream cheese. While the flavor was decent, the texture was disappointing. A good bagel should have that signature chew that makes your jaws work for it--this one felt more like a roll or a piece of bread. We also sampled the cinnamon raisin bagel with a sweet-flavored cream cheese (cinnamon, I think). The overall flavor profile was off--it tasted artificial in a way that wasn't enjoyable. As for drinks, I had an iced chai tea, which had a gingerbread-like flavor. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't great either, and it didn't quite hit the mark for a classic chai. Overall, if you're craving a real, chewy bagel experience, this may not be the spot for you. We probably won't return. read more

This establishment is by far one of the most delicious eateries in all of Va Beach! The staff are so very friendly and clearly enjoy their work. The decor is relaxed and comfortable. Finding an affordable bagel place that is also good had been getting harder each time I move, but Yorgo's has made it so easy to have me coming back. They have a great bagel variety , cream cheese variety, and they have a great selection of bagel sandwiches. I wouldn't just go for the bagels though. They have so many sweet and savory treats that are worth trying - like the challah bread pudding and their banana pudding. I placed an order today, I have a specific order and I repeat it a million times over the phone. Somehow it's still made wrong. I'm not able to go back up there, and it annoys me that I've paid 10 dollars for an incorrect bagel and the only way to fix it is ME having to go back up there during work hours to get it fixed. I am not sure why the bagel I order seems so impossible to get made properly but I'm utterly annoyed at this point. It's frustrating to pay so much and not get what you ordered the first time. Visiting family from out of town and they brought us to Yorgo's. When you walk in you're hit by the scent of a bagel shop and down stairs gives bagel shop vibes. We went upstairs which gave a hip, trendy chic vibe. The bar immediately welcomes you and there is plenty of seating. On this day there was live music which was perfect. The staff were friends of our family and treated us exceptionally well. I was recommended the Grinder of challah but was stuck between so many options. The challah was so soft and absorbed the dressing on the sandwich perfectly. The Bloody Mary was superb, one of the best I've had in a while. I actually came for lunch today, but since they're known for their bagels and I haven't found any fantastic bagel joints in the area. I decided to get my normal breakfast order: bacon, egg and cheese on everything with scallion cream cheese. First of all, it's a superior order. Try it! The bagel was super flavorful. A bit salty, but I'm not complaining. The egg was perfectly-cooked, scrambled but not overdone. The bacon was crispy and greasy and the pepper jack cheese was nice and melty. Adding the cream cheese adds a messy factor that although annoying... means it's perfectly prepared and this bagel sandwich met that requirement. Very cool urban chic cafe vibes. The bagels are great. They go beyond bagels and cream cheese by offering delicious sandwiches with quality ingredients. My favorite sandwich addition is sprouts which most places do not offer. I have been to YB's several times and they have always had sprouts for my bagel turkey club sandwich. There are many craft beverages to choose from. From Olli pop, fresh juices to cold brew YB's has got you covered. In the past they had more of a selection of bagels. But over time (maybe due to COVID) the selection is a little less varied but still enough that everyone should be able to find a favorite. I wish they had rainbow bagels for the kiddos but we are always satisfied with the freshness of what YB's has to offer. Parking is limited but it moves quickly so you should have no issues. There is ample seating upstairs, downstairs, and a nice seating area outside with umbrellas for shade. Go for the bagels but don't forget a signature cup of coffee on your way out.
