Got to this Wawa 15 minutes after placing a online order, they gave us half of our order on the pickup counter and had the rest of our food just sitting on the cashier counter we waited 40 minutes! This location sucks. The frozen Fanta machine is always broken. It's damn near 100 degrees outside and can't even get a frozen drink. Then they're always out of the same snacks. Wawa is a slightly Southern style store. What most do not know: they make bangin' paninis and sandwiches, hot off the press. Order yourself from a little computer station with buttons. Give it some time, check your order when received - don't hesitate to ask for some extra sauce. Eat 'em while they are hot! I come to this Wawa all the time because its convenient and a life saver for late night food. But I have a problem when staff in the deli area don't take their job seriously or get to the point where they are frustrated because the line is long. I order just about the same sub every time I come in and its never right. I either get a Italian sub or a double meat sub. They both always have mayo, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, vinegar and oil, salt and pepper. I always never get my vinegar and oil and salt and pepper even after ordering extra. I sat and watched what happens tonight. The guy ends up putting the vinegar and oil into the bread with nothing on it. Who does that? I told him that after putting thee lettuce and tomatoes and pickles on the sandwich this is when I want the vinegar and oil. He then almost wrapped it with my salt and pepper trying to rush. Tonight after supervising my sandwich was the first night I got all my ingredients and it taste like it supposed to. One night I found a jalapeño in my sandwich and I didn't order it, what if I had been allergic to it? read more

Chanel and the ladies in the hot food counter are sooooooo pleasant!! They make the lunch rush bearable with smiles and jokes with the patrons. They were in constant communication with those of us that were waiting on our food on what item was up next. They did their jobs with the brightest smiles and the bubbliest personalities. I am usually a patron of another Wawa location that will remain nameless and I've never felt more welcome there than I have today at Store Number 00562. You can never go wrong when making a stop at Wawa. From the great service & gas prices, to the addictive smooties. I've become a fan off the Pumpkin Spiced Chai & can't seem to drive by without stopping in for a cup. They have great subs and delicious stuffed pretzels, sweet cream being my favorite & once you become a regular, they people working there always seem to remember your name and what you normally order. I love WaWa so it pains me to write this but the curb at the entrance was full of cigarette butts and the ladies room was not clean. The restroom sink had a permanent grunge on it and the store needed a good sweeping. The check-out line continued to grow as one cashier labored away checking out customers while another sat pricing cigarettes with her back to the growing line wisecracking with the cashier. A second cashier was truly busy adding change to her drawer but for those in the growing line it was frustrating. In all fairness this delay was short but noteworthy because WaWa generally has higher standards and their staff is intuitive about customer service. This was the first time I've actually not been able to eat a sammich. I ordered a meatball sub, provolone, and grated cheese. When I finally got the sandwich it was disgusting. Not toasted, barely any cheese, and enough sauce to drown someone. Literally gross, when I got it , it was already soggy. This was 5.75 plus an extra .75 for extra cheese. Staff is pretty friendly here and the food is pretty good as well. The inside is generally clean but with the great number of people coming in and out, the floor can sometimes be a little messy but nothing disgusting. Service of food and beverages are fast but of course it depends on how busy they are. The fruit smoothies with yogurt and the cheesecake smoothies are delicious. I've also had a turkey sandwich (hoagie), potato soup, and Mac and cheese and they were all pretty good. The snacks and drinks are always well stocked and there is a good variety. Gas prices are likely the lowest you'll find in this area so there is sometimes a wait for the gas pumps but that is to be expected. Overall, definitely a good pit stop when on a road trip when everyone wants something different to eat or wants to replenish snacks or for a fill up. While my life is one big roller coaster of adventures, fiascoes and hijinks, it's my strict regime and schedule that keeps me on an even keel so that I can deal with the crazy that is my life. Whether it's dressing up as a cartoon (*ahem* anime) character with 300 other normally sane and mature adults, or partying with a minor pop-star before realizing that was indeed what's-his-face that was grinding up against me (both inappropriate and gross), or spiraling in a vortex of surrealism in an Escalade with four other girls in Manhattan, I'm always up for it - because of my obsessive rituals and scheduling. One of these rituals is stopping off at Wawa's. Not just any Wawa's, but this specific Wawa on my way to my wonderful in-laws. However, a trip to my wonderful (and I really do mean wonderful) in-laws, also means several hours indoors with my two adorable young nephews - who eat sugar for breakfast and lunch. The 3-year old even drinks coffee. Yeah, you see the dilemma, right? And thus, the ritual at Wawa's was born. My husband wisely always stops us off at this Wawa's, which always has exactly what I need - exactly where I am expecting the items to be. A bottle of diet coke with lime (you nut), a bottle of water, and a bag of spicy nacho Doritos. These three small and disparate items create a barrier of caffeine and happy tummy that allows me to endure 5 hours of rambunctious kids without headache, frowns, or a temper tantrum (from me, not the kids). They always stock these things in the exact same spot each week, so there is no hunting around and getting needlessly frustrated. There are plenty of choices of these items (I always have to take the bottle/bag behind the one in front - another one of my bizarre rituals), and the store is clean and fairly well organized. The few times that we have to get to the in-laws early (oh X-mas morning, how I hate you), this Wawa's always has hot, freshly brewed coffee - in several different flavors in blends ready to give me the jolt I need to finally wake up. Most importantly - the staff here doesn't talk. They will say "hello" and ask you if you would like a bag for your purchase, but otherwise, I think they are mute because they never speak and they don't try to make friendly chit-chat. I know, I'm horrible and rude, but honestly, who *really* likes spending 5 minutes talking about your purchases every time you go to a store? I know what I bought, I know why I bought it. As a store clerk, I'm expecting you to know what your products are, and why people would be purchasing them - so the chatter is unnecessary. The staff here clearly understands this, and I appreciate this with every fiber of me being. They are fast, efficient, and rings you up with the minimum of fuss. It really doesn't get better then this. This Wawa's is the cornerstone of my Sunday afternoons with my in-laws. It's not that I don't love them, because I do. It's not that I don't enjoy being with them, because I do. It's just that I'm a lazy slob that can only deal with kids for short amounts of time before I just need *quiet* (and yes, spoken like a true non-breeder!) and just curling up on the couch in peace. I look forward to seeing my new family and my nephews (especially the 9 year old, who enjoys the same video games and cartoons that I do), but for me to be able to do it without getting fussy and annoyed, I need my Wawa. My rituals hold my world together. It is what makes my crazy world of extreme highs and lows make sense. So if you will excuse me, now that I'm done with writing this review, I need to walk around the bathroom, backwards three times. I love Wawa but the cashier I delt with today ends my visits to this location. Blessing (yes that was actually her mane) was down right nasty. I asked for a pack of cigarettes (I already had my license out so when asked for it I would be ready) even after she took my ID and scanned it she refused to sell to me for rains she wouldn't provide when I asked. Finally decided to tell her to call her manager over which she also refused to do. I decided to just pay for my food and call it a day and told her I needed my receipt and the end of the transaction and she was huffing and puffing and sighing and then threw the receipt at me. When I walked away I heard her call me a bitch. Needless to say I'm happy I got her name because the manager blew me off so now I'm going to corporate. My favorite thing to get from here is the frozen vanilla chai drink, delicious! Their subs are also amazing! I don't like how you don't know how much the made-to-order food is until it's time for you to pay; the prices aren't on the electric kiosk while you're ordering or on the receipt printed after you have completed your order. I think they are overpriced when it comes to the made-to-order menu, but it's usually fresh and delicious, so I accept it. Stopped in tonight at around 9:00 PM. I waited 20 minutes for the sandwich maker to tell me that they ran out of meatballs, mind you this is after I had paid, opened my drink and chips because they were taking so long and I was really hungry. Took manager another 10 minutes to come out of the back. Once she came to the front, refused to refund drink and chips as I explained to her that I had bought to eat with sandwich. Ended up getting into an argument at which time another young female employee jumped into the discussion....very rude and unprofessional crew. Wawa is great for subs, better than any Subway type chain around. They have fresh made bread, good ingredients, and each sub is made fresh with options like, toast bread, toast entire sub, etc. Breakfast bowls and burritos are great too. Is seems to have slowed down production to add items like quesadillas, iced coffee drinks, and such, but even those are worth a few minutes extra wait time. For a sub, the touch screen kiosks are great to order with no confusion and little chance of a mix up. But, let customers pay at those kiosks instead of making them pay at another line. read more

The employees at this establishment are friendly and fun. It's been really nice getting to know these people over so many years of visiting this establishment for midnight snacks and smoothies. There's are several friendly employees I've gotten to know, and gotten to expect to see during my visits. It's nice to see a gas station where the employees have such an endearing work ethic. They provide fresh food, made well, with some occasional lapses in consistency (because sometimes the get very busy, and there can be considerable variation in how food is prepared based on the employee preparing it).
