It really depends on the day of the week here, hit or miss when it comes to consistency. That said,…read moreI never miss out on the rewards program, $3.99 freal shakes for just $.99 is a deal I can't pass up. Not gonna lie, these honestly might be better than the real deal shakes other places make. The employees have always been nice and friendly every time I've stopped in, even on the off days when the location itself is a bit inconsistent.

While I'm still a Wawa guy at heart, I'm always happy to stop at a Sheetz for a change of pace!…read more I'm sure the "Great Convenience Store Wars" will soon reshape the landscape, but until then, I'm happy to support Sheetz, Wawa, and RoFo equally. That said, we don't have many Sheetz around this part of Maryland yet, so a new one is always welcomed. That being said, how did this one fare against all others? Not bad. No issues with the gas pumps (outside of rude customers, who leave their cars there while they conduct business inside the shop for way too long, which is hardly a fault of the store itself). Ordering is pretty easy via the touchscreen kiosks. There's only three, so I can see that being a pain when it's really crowded. I haven't had that issue yet, but we came close the first time. Paying, though, is a different issue. Both times we've visited, the self-checkout wasn't working. Oh sure, you can scan everything, but it throws an error when you go to pay. Boo. And on top of that, the only person who can seemingly fix the problem is the solo cashier at the main checkout. Staff up, people. Anyway, this is probably the biggest gripe I have, though. The food has been consistently good (hot, fresh, made correctly). And the selection is pretty vast. There are tables, chairs, and a high-top counter if you want to eat there, which given the variety of menu items, you wouldn't look out of place in doing so. I like these types of gas station / convenience stores. They offer a nice change of pace from the standard hole-in-the-wall service station, where you would only want to eat if you were on a dare. The joint is pretty clean, the staff are helpful, and the overall experience is worth the visit.

I ordered a latte and some beignets for the road with white chocolate sauce, and OMG - so so yummy! I loved my little piece of NOLA in MD. & my next time in the area, I will for sure be returning. This location is super fitting too, with a lot of customers coming with their laptop or workbooks to not only eat and be served, but to use the space for their own personal development.

This review is about service and class and who I will and will not trust to prepare what I consume…read more I ordered a Velvet ice with oat milk. The woman taking my order added "no whip" because she assumed I didn't want dairy at all. When I asked for the whip they, with a nasty attitude, told me I had to pay extra. That didn't make sense to me considering the photo shows whip cream included. They started having a conversation in the back about me for making this simple request pointing out what their menu shows. I then pulled up the menu, waited in line again, and I showed them the menu and the mobile app which both show whip included and which you actually have to deselect it and neither has an additional fee. The woman preparing my order acknowledged that she deselected it on my behalf since I asked for oat milk. At this point - this is absolutely not about the whip cream or the upcharge, it is the abhorrent service, the aggressive demeanor, and the unexplained disdain I was shown when I treated both women with nothing but respect from the moment I walked in to the moment I walked out of the establishment. ATP the woman who took my order saw the issue and was going to resolve it by, of course, adding the included whip cream! However, the manager, DJ returned and interfered refusing to allow her to do so & going on a rant directed at me when I was not at all in communication with her. Then, as she was returning my order (which included a tip btw!!) she proceeded to attempt to insult me by saying, "if you don't have 70 cents to pay for this, just say so." For the record, the tip I left was more than the 70 cents so that obviously did not land well. Throughout this dumbfounding experience, I was standing there, my voice calm, not raised, in a store full of my customers (after I patiently waited in line a second time) at 10 months pregnant. We all have bad days, but on so many levels, this cannot be acceptable at any point. To insult someone to try to win a "debate" over a non-issue in an industry where some of us remember "the customer is always right," is despicable at best. I hope someone finds a training opportunity in this, but I will not return to ever find out.
