The food took about 8 minutes to come out and it was delivered to the table. This Cuban sandwich was excellent and it rivals some of the best in Tampa Bay. The empanada was not as great. The mojo mustard provided with the empanada was something unique to me but not great. As it stands, Box of Cubans has a great sandwich and a fun Cuban theme. Listen, in the age of 10$ and 15$ hamburgers, this place doesn't necessarily rise to the occasion. I paid 14$ for a 7 or 8 inch long Cuban sandwich. Hardly wider than the width of the phone in your hand. Not only is it small, but they charged me 1$ per topping to add lettuce and onion. The sandwich is perfectly average. Tasted good but didn't come with fries or drink at a 14$ pricetag. I've had better tasting, larger Cuban sandwiches with fries and a drink in and around Tampa for less $.
