Please, please, please do not use her services. Long story short, she was very difficult to schedule with and did not want to give me any information. I still went ahead and made an appointment because I had already purchased it through Groupon and apparently it did not go through even though I confirmed it, I did not know it didn't go through until the day of. Then we made another appointment and both of us confirmed, but when I arrived 2 minutes late (after driving 2 hours) she told me I would have to reschedule due to being late. She would not answer her door, pick up her phone or text back until about 10 minutes later and when she did text back she proceeded to tell me that she left her room 10 minutes after I got there and did not see me, so therefor she was lying and had to have left before my scheduled time or within two minutes after. Oh yeah, and then she accused me for stealing from her (even called the cops) even though I never got the chance to go in her office AND she said I was at the wrong place because she did not see me in the waiting area when she left. Found Alisha on Groupon and set an appointment immediately. She responds to text messages very quickly and was detailed on how to get to her waxing studio. She advertises her waxing appointments to take 15 minutes or less. She did not fail on this promise, I was in and out so quickly. I was initially hesitant when she pulled out strip wax to perform a Brazilian (I had only ever gotten a Brazilian using hard wax), but Alisha was so fast and efficient it was over before I could really complain. She talked to me the entire time and practiced breathing techniques to distract me from the pain. In the end, I had such a great experience and would recommend anyone to her. The pain with strip wax vs hard wax is pretty equal to me. I do enjoy the fact that strip wax makes the appointment go by so quickly. Hard wax appointments usually take a lot longer because you have to wait for the wax to harden before it can be removed. As far as maintenance after the strip wax, I noticed a lot less ingrown hair which is a win. I think Alisha sold me on strip wax for Brazilian! read more

When I showed up for my appointment she was very welcoming. She did my brows and a brazilian and it was quick and the easiest waxes I've ever had! NEVER come here for waxing services!!! Alisha is extremely unprofessional. She ended up attacking me over text when I didn't want to confirm a second appointment with her. I've never been talked down to by a service provider like that. She was 10 minutes late to my first waxing appointment. The waxing service was okay. I told her I would be at school 6 hours away so it probably won't work out to schedule a second appointment, but I said sure when she still wanted to schedule it because I felt bad saying no. She sent me a text that said "please text back to confirm your appointment," and I never texted back because I was busy and didn't want to confirm the appointment. She then told me "I was disrespectful and rude. Thanks for playing. I won't be servicing you again." Alisha is sweet, energetic, and fun and that helps with a wax more than I realized it would. She is very fast and the wax is pretty close to pain free, which impressed me since I have very dark, thick hair. She does use strip waxing but it is less painful than any experience I have had with hard or strip wax. She uses grapeseed oil before and afterwards and I feel like that helps a lot as well. Alisha I'm sorry I was late but you honestly need to work on your customer service. Had I known you were scheduling me on your lunch break I would have thought twice before confirming booking. I was 8 minutes late and yes I got the memo about late appointments but I texted you several times giving you a heads up and didn't get your text to reschedule till I was already getting out of the elevator. You could have canceled 2 of the 4 waxing services I was scheduled to do to make up the 8 minutes that I was late for. Plus I think it's unsanitary to have your little puppy in the waxing room. I love dogs but I'm pretty sure the state board doesn't allow animals in the place of service where your waxing. Getting upset and throwing your bag on the table was a bit much. Next time grab a snickers bar take a chill pill or better yet don't schedule anyone on your lunch break sister. When your late for my appointment putting change in the meter for your car I didn't sweat it. She wasn't accommodating at all and paying for parking doesn't help either FYI there's homeless people and crack heads in front of the establishment. No joke read more

I had my first wax ever by Alisha, and wasn't impressed. The actual experience was good-pretty fast, painless, and seemed clean. There was, however, a lot of issues with the before and after. I had to tell Alisha what procedure I wanted done when scheduling (she never asked), remind her when I arrived what we were doing, and the payment was an issue. She didn't clarify beforehand that there were any specifics about payment but then was rude and very pushy about payment being cash or check only, which I didn't have. She also lied to me about how long she booked for the procedure and how long it should take. Alisha booked someone way too soon after my appointment and when they showed up on time and she ran 45 + minutes late, she went out during my waxing and told them that I had said that I had told her I'd been waxed recently (I never said that-I'd never been waxed ever) and that she was sorry, but it was my fault. I didn't receive all of the waxing services that the page on her website detailed but was charged full price. I also received absolutely no instructions for aftercare, which is a little frightening to me. All in all, the procedure itself was good but I walked out feeling disrespected and cheated.
