Well I am like 5 years late on this review. I used to go the the Brow Bar at Ulta, but as I moved to closer to here than Ulta, I thought I make the switch. So i came here when it first open. My oldest daughter had just finished middle school and going into high school. Her first experience was great, and so we all started coming here. There has been a couple occasions where my daughter has left with cuts on her eyebrow ridge or super red. Now my daughters no longer want to come here. I have the hardest time trying to get an appointment to get in. Personally, I love Paris, I know I am gonna get a good wax when it's her. Couple months ago I decided I wanted to get a lash lift. I tried to book it online, and from the time it took me to grab wallet, the appointment disappeared. So I tried to call to find out what happen to the appointment, and was told the website was unreliable. I looked at the website and it does say that.. I have come here for years getting Brazilians and last Friday was the WORST one I've ever had. Slow painful and I had to pluck countless hairs after and still more to go. It was so bad I had to hold my own skin taught for her and even then hurt so bad. She also kept putting hot wax over already cooled wax which was just weird. So don't get the new girls there. I also got lash tint and she told me to open my eyes while laying down and product got in both my eyes and burned so bad. -1/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND read more

I get my Brazilian wax here with Parus and she's the absolute best. She's comforting and truly great at what she does. It took me a long time to find someone I was comfortable around because these types of waxes well they are intimate and honestly you want to feel comfortable and Parus really helped me with that. I come here all the time now, and I've recommended here to everyone I know so if you're looking for someone friendly and super nice and great at what she does then Parus is an excellent choice. I have been driving by this place for months and finally made the plunge to try a new place for my brows. I saw they had a 50% discount for first timers so I figured what the heck! The establishment is much larger than I expected. It's very nice and the staff is welcoming. They have tons of private rooms for all waxing and the staff does a great job of getting to know your preferences. I have never had to fill out a waiver or anything to get my brows done, so this was comforting knowing any allergies or concerns would be taken into consideration. The price is a bit steep ($25 for an eyebrow wax) but honestly it's worth the $$$ because their wax dries quickly and doesn't hurt when you're getting your hair yanked out! For this reason alone I'm hooked. I'm pretty sensitive to wax and really hate when I leave feeling like half of my forehead got taken off. It doesn't burn and you leave looking super fresh. I would just like to say that I've been coming here for a few months and I'm just so impressed with the level of customer service provided here. I had an appointment a few weeks ago and had to call and reschedule kind of last minute and Medha was so respectful and helpful (I actually found out today that she's the owner!) I rescheduled my appointment for this past weekend, but all of the Cerologists were sick with the flu (I don't wish that upon anyone) but Medha called and left me a voicemail explaining what happened and offered a discount on one of my next services to make up for it. She didn't have to do that, and I just thought that was so sweet of her. So now I want to talk about today. Previously I've been seeing the same Cerologist, but when I called to reschedule I found out that shes no longer there. No big deal. I scheduled with Paurus, who answered the call that day and she scheduled me with herself. Awesome! Yall, she's amaaaaazing. I've never had a better wax OR a better experience during the whole process. She's seriously the sweetest and she's funny and makes you feel so comfortable. It's safe to say, that she will be my Cerologist until one of us moves away lol she is passionate about what she does and she is incredibly skilled. This place is fantastic! I recently moved to the area and was looking for a place to go for waxing, and now I'm a regular customer. It was easy to make an appointment online and the prices are very reasonable. They even have packages where you can buy multiple waxes at a discount! Everyone from the front desk to Ashley who did my waxing was so friendly and personable. This was my first visit to Waxing the City. I usually go to Gene Juarez but I have not been able to get appointments during the week lately so decided to try Waxing the City. I highly recommend Waxing the City. The staff are very friendly and trained. I've never had such a painless experience with Waxing. I get waxed to save time and usually have to not flinch during the process. This time I barely felt any pain (I'm a red head so have thin skin...lol). I didn't have the experience everybody else did. Although friendly, my esthetician missed hairs that should have been captured in a good wax - which is so frustrating. They charge more than a nice hair salon so I guess I'll just go back to visiting those. I thought since their specialty is waxing they would be great at it, but that wasn't the case for my visit. Mikayla was my cerologist and I couldn't have been happier. She was so friendly and immediately put me at ease. She was quick, yet very detailed and I was surprised by how easy it all was. I was gearing up for a lot of pain, but it wasn't bad at all! It was hands down the least painful Brazilian wax I've had! The studio was very clean and everyone was so friendly and nice, it was a great experience all around. I've been going here since it opened and its amazing! Booking is so easy, and they almost always have someone available. I can call on my lunch break and ask if I can just stop in for a quick brow waxing and they almost always are available. I've had a bikini wax here and it was the best one I've had, they make you feel so comfortable and pay such attention to detail. The staff was really friendly and cooperative and it took me no time to book an appointment with them. My cerologist was Parus. She is competent, experienced and knows her job well.
