Wow! I went here today after she reopened. All the precautions in place, you walk in she sprays something around you, takes temperature and gives hand sanitizer. She doesn't have a thread in her mouth anymore it's moved to around her neck. I will keep coming as I used to pre COVID! read more

Giving one star coz cannot give zero. (Coming from a person who never reviews bad, but this had to be done) The owner is polite but the service is horrible. Went in for a basic clean up but was out in 15 mins with a clean up and eyebrows. Extreme rush God knows why, there was no one in the Salon even after me. Started directly with scrubbing my dry face ( did not even use a cleanser first,which is the most basic step). I was left with red, burning face after the whole process. Would not recommend. (Editing after reading the comment from the owner: Wow!! I can post a screenshot of getting a call from you 5 mins before my service to confirm if I'm coming (appointment: September 4th 2020, 5PM). As said before, I've never given a bad review to anyone, but had to say this because of my experience. Atleast don't try to accuse someone of giving fake review, I don't have so much free time to give fake reviews to anyone. My twin sister and I come here to get our eyebrows threaded and they are always amazing!! I will never go anywhere else! Had an appointment today to get them done, first time in a while and first time since COVID regulations. When I walked in I was sanitized with a spray, my belongings were put into a sanitizing station (phone, keys, wallet etc) and I was given hand sanitizer! The worst waxing service and customer service! Would not recommend it to anyone who is looking for a decent salon.

She is doing a good job making sure that everyone feels safe and protected while getting parlor services. She checked for temperature when I entered the place and offered hand sanitizer and disinfectant wipes. She also offered UV sterilizer to customers for things like car keys, mobile etc. She has masks and face shield for customers. I was wearing my own k95 mask and gloves but she offered me a face shield and I felt safer after taking that. She sanitized all the things including combs, scisccors etc. She also wiped the chair with disinfectant wipes. Overall great job in ensuring safety of people in these unprecedented times. read more

I won't go anywhere else to get my eyebrow/lip threading done! This place is a hidden gem. Param is so quick and remembers me every time I walk in, plus the price is crazy low for the quality of work you are receiving. It's only $10 for eyebrow and lip threading! I always call when I'm on my way to make sure they have room for me, but I've never had issues getting in last minute. I am always in and out within 5 minutes. It's so hard to find a good eyebrow place. I went through my fair share before stumbling upon Bombay. Highly recommend!! Like I said, I refuse to go anywhere else. read more

I've only recently started going to this salon for threading and waxing. I was pretty skeptical at first given the lockdown situation, but Param takes extreme caution and I felt pretty safe as I walked in. Param has a face shield on and the place is kept sanitized between appointments. She also checks your temperature and even sterilized my phone after I entered the place. I only went for threading the first time and I was so impressed that I went back for waxing as well. Param is extremely quick and thorough at the same time. I have on appointment on 22nd may 2021 at 11.45am for eyebrow, that lady is very rude and when it started she was in so hurry to finish the threading and didn't even care wheather it hurts or not, within few mins she finished by hurting my skin and it became red and now also its burning, seriously this a eyebrow threading ????????????????? Eventhough i was telling some hair are visible, then she said no hair and her reaction was very bad. Its her problem if she cant see. And if only cash then why she didn't infirm while taking an appointment rather I should say I am your first time customer and ask are you accepting cash or not, she is saying while I am paying and also I have to go bank to give money to her. Overpriced and a very unhygienic place. They don't even clean you after waxing. They hurt you a lot since they don't care if the wax burns you, you are just a task for them. I am burned and cut at my upper lip area. Such a rough treatment. They expect you to "shower" after cleaning. The owner Paramjeet asked me we don't clean or put oil on you, please shower. She literally killed me during Brazilian wax. The brochure says it's 35$ but then she increased it to 40$. Never going to back to this salon. Please stay away from this salon. A word of advice for this business, don't worry about the incoming customers serve the customer who is sitting in front of you first. So disappointed. I have been going to this place for my eyes brows and upper lip for a long time. I return for some occasional waxing from time to time. Param (Owner) does an amazing job. She knows I don't like certain things and she follows my directions. Compared to other places, I think this place is efficient, cheap, and friendly. I would give this place a 4.5/5. Overall I think the older reviews do not do this place justice. After a long day of work, I am looking for a quick and clean job, this is what they provide. They don't pamper. And I'm not looking for a spa. Reading the other reviews from a few years ago, people need to recognize what they are walking into. Also, if someone leaves hair on my body, I tell them to remove it, rather than just walking out. I don't agree that patches of hair are left and it is only their fault. They charge me what they say because I always ask first before receiving service. This place is in my top 2 on the east side. A job well done! I have been going to this place at the Bellevue location for a while now. Wow. This place really knows how to treat customers like cattle. Customer service is an alien term to them. The only thing they know is to rush through their service and the work they do is not worth mentioning. Over the years all the people for whom I had recommended this place, have stopped going there. I did till today. Today I had gone for a waxing. I stepped into the salon at 5:31 and was done at 5:32. They hardly care whether it hurts you, you bleed or you cry in pain. The only thing which matters to them is doing the crappy job that they do. I asked them to at least give me a small mirror to check, they asked me to go fetch it myself. I have been going to this salon for about 2 years for eyebrows and waxing. The only good point is their prices are less compared to any other spa or parlor in Bellevue but for that their service is really below average. The ambience of the parlor is not good. They do not provide the best customer service and want to get things done as early as possible. Two people do the wax at the same time and they really don't stop even if it Hurts. As for eyebrows the owner of the parlor does a great job where as the assistants do it so slow and it feels that they pluck one hair at a time. It also hurts a lot. I did my eyebrows and haircut in this salon and it was done in under 20 mins. It was super fast for my thick hair. I am not satisfied with both my haircut and eyebrows. The way that my haircut and threading were done was very painful and I felt that the attention mostly was to complete the task than customer experience and quality. After experiencing a few bad eyebrow threading locations in the area -- Bombay Beauty Salon is the best I've come across. They take walk-ins and the wait is never too long (less than 10 minutes). The ladies get right to work and are good about shaping the brows to match your face and leaving them thick/thin based on what you prefer. Though I can tell the ladies do not feel comfortable speaking English, they understand English and are very friendly. The prices are very reasonable and affordable. Once in a while there is a new person who might or might not thread it painfully, but overall they are very great. The staff is friendly and they generally don't have a long wait time.
