Shanti is such a sweetheart! During covid phase 2 she definitely makes sure that everything is cleaned before/during your visit. I grew my brows out during quarantine and desperately needed them done. I hate to write this review because I don't want anyone else to know how fantastic Shanti is. But I feel like I have to do it because of how much I appreciate every visit and I want her to know it. I have seen Shanti for facials as well as brow tinting and waxing, and am completely happy with every service I have received. The facials are incredibly relaxing and my skin always is so happy afterwards due to the gentle, natural ingredients. This is a big surprise given that my skin is very sensitive, with rosacea and sensitivity to chemicals and fragrance. Extractions are also gentle but effective. My brow tints are complicated because I have red hair and pale brow hairs that don't evenly take to dye. Shanti has patiently experimented with colors, application method and processing time to get me to exactly the right final look. She goes above and beyond to make sure I'm happy with the final result and really listens to my feedback. But above all else, I need to rave about the waxing. Shanti uses a soy-based "wax" called Nufree that is the only waxing product that has caused absolutely zero irritation on my very sensitive skin. Normally after a wax my skin is very red and hot, and I usually develop a few bumps and ingrown hairs a few days later. None of this happens with Nufree - no redness, no irritation, no bumps EVER. To be honest I was pretty nervous about having some waxing done on my back as my previous experiences have been long, and very painful. Shanti made the process very quick and there was hardly any pain at all. I was in and out of there in about 15 minutes. She is very professional with a great attitude.... always laughing and making you feel very comfortable. Shanti's amazing. I have finally found my eyebrow waxer. That is, if she'll still have me. Today was my first visit and I was a total nightmare customer. Shanti was able to squeeze me in last minute... and what do I do? I get lost, show up 10 min late, and have NO cash on me. What does Shanti do? She says "no problem, we have just enough time, you can pay me later." On top of her kindness and fabulous attitude, she did an amazing job on my brows; best I've been able to find in the area.
