From the moment I walked in, I felt relaxed and welcomed. Alexia was so kind and attentive during our visit. I got a brow and lip wax and she walked me through each step she was doing to ensure I was happy with my results. My skin can be a bit sensitive but she was gentle and made sure the wax temp was ok before proceeding. Julia is AMAZING!! I really love her whole vibe. She makes you feel so comfortable I don't even realize the appointment is over. Lol She's gentle and also very knowledgeable. The products are great on my sensitive skin and the add ons, like the eye patches, are a plus. They are full but usually uneven and most places that say they fill in the brows after don't fill mine, but this service includes the brows being filled in/highlighted with kelley baker products which are best of the best. If you're a first timer or looking for a new wax specialist you can trust, look no further. She is kind, welcoming, and cleanly. A good wax is hard to come by. I have spent a long time looking for the right place since moving to the East Bay almost 3 years ago. I was going regularly to another big chain but did not love the results. I also tried going to other highly rated places with spa owners who have been doing this for decades. I am so relieved to have found Mershaney! She is so sweet, good at what she does, and so pleasant to hang out and chat with. She is always professional and making sure that I am comfortable in all ways. You know you are getting a great service when your hair is growing back noticeably thinner and more sparse and you have little to no ingrown in the time in between. Her technique is great because I have sensitive skin and it is quick and painless with no reactions at all. The place is incredibly clean and comfortable, and their products are great. The only thing I wish they had was the ability to reschedule appointments online. read more
