Update: I think it's been over 2 years now since I've started going here and it's still amazing as ever. I get Brazilians every 4 weeks with Kamryn... LOVE her! She is very easy going & has done an amazing job every single time. They keep it very clean in there. And it is a great location. You have options to park in the parking garage or there is parking across the street or really anywhere. They offer many services for male & female but I've only ever done a Brazilian. The prices are fairly priced. A full Brazilian is $59 plus tax. Which in my opinion is a good price for some I have seen. read more

Ok so I have to be honest that I really didn't enjoy my last experience here. The Waxxpot system automatically added an event to my google calendar, which I live by, and then it ended up being the wrong time. They blamed me because I guess it was correct in the reminder texts they sent me, but I work from my phone often, I get a lot of incoming messages, and often don't even think twice about those if there is already an event in my calendar. I got a call that basically I was 30 minutes late thinking my appointment was hours later, but that if I came right then that I could get in with someone other than who I scheduled with. That was my only option without being charged and losing the appointment. I really wanted it done, so I dropped what I was doing and went for it.. maybe not the best decision. The gal who did my lashes and brows seemed honestly to be inexperienced. Both were uneven and I really just wasn't satisfied with the results. At a place like Waxxpot I expect a little more consistency in quality between the work of each esthetician and that just wasn't the case on my last visit. read more

Parking is conveniently located in the attached garage, just be sure to validate your parking ticket inside! Scheduling is easy to do online or over the phone. Unfortunately if you do need to cancel or reschedule you will have to call. I've been going to Waxxpot for almost a year now and I highly recommend you schedule your appointment with Amanda. She's incredibly efficient and professional and she goes out of her way to make sure you're comfortable. First time trying any of the waxxpot's and wow what a great first experience! I had the pleasure of having Raven for my eyebrow tint and wax and she did such a great job. So first she dyed them slightly and asked if I wanted them darker. Which was fantastic, she didn't jump in and go too dark right away. I said yes I did want them darker so for the first time she was slightly cautious. Then same thing with the wax. She said she was just cleaning them up the first time and I could get more off if I wanted. So another great way to go about my preferences as a first time customer. I'm sure the receptionist could tell I was nervous but she was very kind and helped me schedule an appointment. I have seen Misty multiple times and she makes the entire process very comfortable! I have VERY sensitive skin and have never had an issue with any waxing services I have received at waxxpot. The entire location seems very clean. The lighting in the rooms is not always great and it can be difficult to see as I have extremely light hair, but the ladies are very patient and accommodating and make sure I am happy with the services every time before I leave! read more

Sorry - no photos! I had my first Brazilian wax at this location and it was definitely painful and uncomfortable but was a way better experience than what I had anticipated. I found that it was super easy to book an appointment online. I then had to reschedule which I did over the phone and that was simple as well. When you go to Waxxpot in Grandview, park in the parking garage behind the store. You can bring your ticket in and have it validated and BOOM - free parking! Because I was pretty nervous, I ended up being thirty minutes early to my appointment. I booked with Sarah based on the reviews and she ended up taking me back early which was really kind of her. Sarah really helped to calm me down with her soothing technique. While it did hurt to have my hair ripped out, it went really quickly and I am very pleased with the result. Sarah helped distract me and make it a very pleasant experience. I appreciated that she explained what she was doing and really worked with me to keep me from freaking out. They have a special going on where you buy three and get one free so I signed up for that and have already scheduled my next appointment with Sarah. I am really looking forward to it! Went in for my first visit. Making the appointment online was easy but if you need to modify or cancel it you have to call which is a bit of a hassle. I am glad I called though as the person I spoke with was great, adjusted my appointment as needed and explained where to park. I arrived early for my appointment and was greeted immediately and those at the front of the store were great. Welcoming and fun. I filled out the necessary paperwork and due to a cancelation was able to be helped early. Sarah did my brow wax & tint. I was only scheduled for a brow wax but she suggested the tint and how great it would be. Since your first visit has a $25 off incentive I figured I go for it. She then waxed my upper lip complimentary. Sarah was fabulous. Her personality and service was top notch. Waxxpot is a bit pricey for me especially when a monthly service is the suggested time frame. I had been here several times as the location is convenient and the people were friendly. Had an appointment for underarm and eyebrow wax at 6:30, due to issue with parking in the garage, I arrived at 6:36. When the 3 ladies sitting behind the desk checked me in they informed me that I could only have one service because I was beyond the five minute grace period for my appointment. I waited 3 minutes in the lobby for the girl doing the service and it took her about 8 minutes to do the wax. There wasn't time to do my brows????? She was quiet but nice and I could tell she was a perfectionist because she took her time which I initially appreciated. The reason I give only 3 stars is because Angel overly waxed certain areas of my brows, leaving me with wounds as seen here. I have had various areas of my body waxed, including the intimate ones. I have had almost all positive experiences at Waxxpot, with the occasional "bump" in the road (no pun intended!). Grandview is my favorite location because not only is the waxing amazing, but the customer service is second-to-none. Everyone is *incredibly* nice, beginning (and ending) with the front desk staff, and culminating, of course, with the Esthetician (honestly Amber is possibly the nicest person ever). I am sure there are plenty of people who are nervous about waxing - let's face it, it can be awkward for anyone - all the more so, in my opinion, for a dude! Getting my first wax, I had an AWESOME experience here (as awesome as having hair ripped out of skin can be). The front desk girls laughed at my nervous jokes and assured me that I would be ok. My wax specialist walked me through every step of the experience and kept the conversation going to distract me. I had a fantastic experience here! They lured me in with the first free wax promotion, and I mean you can't beat free right?!The building is so beautiful and clean without looking overly sterile. When I first tried to schedule over the phone, the receptionist seemed a little spacey but we were able to find a time that worked well with my schedule. I am new to waxing and tried the waxxpot gahanna location in march 2018 and decided to give the grandview location a try out on 4/5/18 to see which location I would like to make my wax home. Sarah B was my wax specialist and she was great! Getting a Brazilian can be a little awkward and painful but she made me feel super comfortable even if I was jumpy during the wax (I have a low pain tolerance!) In fact, Sarah was so great I went a head and booked with her again for may 2018! This location was clean and the desk girls were pretty friendly. Prices are pretty decent for the services they provide. I'm only knocking off a star because per the other reviews I had no idea they validated the parking tickets from the garage (no one offered and I didn't ask because I didn't know) so I had to pay for parking. Next time I'll ask. All in all, if someone was looking to get waxed I would definitely recommend any Waxxpot location although I thought the grandview location was a little nicer than gahanna. read more

My first experience here was very bad, I arrived about five minutes after my appointment and they told me I couldn't get my eyebrows waxed anymore because I was too late, so I left. I came back a couple months later to get my eyebrows waxed and arrived about ten minutes before my appointment so they didn't kick me out again. My appointment was at 3:30, and they didn't start on my eyebrows until 3:47! So I had to sit and wait for almost twenty minutes. And my eyebrows looked bad when they finished waxing them, they were literally so thin. Won't be coming back. read more

Additionally, the prices are slightly lower than some of the other salons around, and who doesn't want to save $10 to use towards that Starbucks you're going to drink anyway! I think this may be the first time that I didn't wince after getting my lip waxed! Hope was thorough & quick! She ensured that everything was to my liking before I left the studio, and I did ask her to touch something up. I received no attitude upon asking, only "Of course! My apologies for missing that!". This review is only for Bri. My friend and I booked appointments for the same time, we walked into the store and the receptionist checked us in at exactly five minutes past our appointment time. Bri walks out a minute later and says to us, "I can't take you now because you are over five minutes late, and we have a five minute cancellation policy, so you can come back later. I have appointments booked back to back. " When we kindly pointed out that we actually walked into the store a while ago and weren't six minutes late, she looked at the computer briefly and just said, "well, I just saw that you checked in and it's six minutes past now so I can't take you". Interestingly, neither the receptionist nor the other technician we booked said anything about us being late and the other technician was all but ready to bring one of us inside. We completely understand that we were late for the appointment and that even if we check in at five minutes past, it takes time to actually go into the room, lie down, etc. and start service. However I just felt like since we were not technically late to check in, the situation was still ambiguous enough that as the customers we deserved a much more sincere explanation such as "unfortunately, you were five minutes late and I'm worried that we will be rushed. Would it be possible for you to come back later?" instead of the abrupt and condescending tone that Bri used to shoo us away. Didn't give one star because everyone else there was very nice and helped us book another appointment for the same day. Nothing to complain about in terms of quality of service. But Bri's attitude was so off-putting. read more

Have been going for about a year- started as a 5! I had a great aesthetician named Nina, who was doing a fabulous job with my brows. Because she was so great, I kept going back despite the major sensitivity reaction my skin was having to the wax. They offer no solution or alternative wax for sensitive skin. Nina has left, and the next time I came in a chunk of my eyebrow was peeled off. I let it grow in, and came back thinking it was just one bad aesthetician. I also had a brow pack I paid for and wanted to finish. This next time, a different aesthetician (sweet girl) finished my brows asymmetrically. That combined with the major redness of my skin after with no alternative wax will stop me from coming back and finishing my brow pack. read more

Understanding life happens, I was willing to reschedule to try this place out again. When arriving to my appointment 5 minutes after the scheduled time, because life happens, I receive a call from Waxxpot Grandview notifying me that they cannot accommodate my service and will need to reschedule. I have been getting my brows waxed for over ten years and this is hands down the worst experience that I've ever had and the worst my brows have ever looked. It was my first time there and diamond didn't even ask how I liked them just started waxing. She gives me a mirror five minutes later and my brows are basically gone, they look like the 1990's pencil thin brows when I like mine fuller with a full arch which I would have explained if she would have taken the time to even ask. She took off too much in the middle on either side, failed to give me an arch and they're way to thin. read more

I had my eyebrows waxed here today by Shelby. It was my first visit to waxxpot and I normally get my eyebrows threaded due to my sensitive skin being a ginger with light skin. Shelby did a great job!
