They also have soft ice cream, water ice and a nice size hot menu of burgers, hot dogs and appetizers as well as frozen treats for sale in the freezer. All food is counter service, there are 5 booths and 2 tables in the main room and 3 booths in a side room for seating. House made is the key here! I have been here multiple times and have never had a flavor I didn't like! Today I asked if I could customize a banana split and they said yes! You can get any 3 flavors of ice cream, I choose the Double Peanut Butter and cookies for all 3 scoops with Peanut butter sauce over all and the banana slices, whipped cream and cherries like a normal sundae. This turned out to be a great choice. My wife opted for the traditional Banana split! Candy's has been known to get busy as it is a small place, but they usually have plenty of help behind the counter to take care of the line. They have a nice sized parking lot off to the side of the building and a back entrance on East Bellevue Ave. If you are looking for good homemade ice cream and like options, this is the place for you!

Absolutely blown away by this hidden gem in Fleetwood, PA! I…read morestopped into Willy's Ice Cream Shop expecting a quick cone on a hot day, but what I got was one of the most surprisingly fantastic all-around experiences I've had in the Lehigh Valley. This place isn't just an ice cream shop -- it's a full-on flavor destination. First off, the ice cream is legit Penn State Creamery quality -- rich, creamy, and packed with flavor. I tried a couple of scoops and they were perfect. But the real shock was their smoked meats. Despite the name, they're turning out some serious game-made smoked brisket and pork that rivals the best BBQ joints around. Tender, smoky, perfectly seasoned -- I couldn't believe it. The brisket was melt-in-your-mouth good and the pork was juicy with that ideal bark. Huge props for the quality and the unexpected menu depth. And then there were the Kamikoze pickles, ring bologna, and hot cauliflower!. These are hands-down the best pickles I've ever had. Tangy, crunchy, perfectly spiced with just the right kick -- I bought 6 jars to take home and I'm already planning my next trip back just for more. They elevate everything on the menu. Friendly service, great portions, and a fun, welcoming vibe in a convenient Fleetwood location. Whether you're craving premium ice cream, killer smoked meats, or those legendary pickles, Willy's delivers on every level. This place is a 10/10. If you're anywhere near Fleetwood, do yourself a favor and go. You won't regret it -- I'm already a regular. Highly, highly recommend!

They charged me $.50 extra for onions per hotdog. They were the most cheap generic hot dogs you can buy. They were not hot at all. The french fries that cost $4 had so much salt and some sort of spice mix on them it burned my throat that I had to drink water to stop coughing. I am not a picky eater I will not throw food away however if this would not have cost me $15.00, I would have threw it away. Matter of fact I didn't eat 2/3 of the French fries. And the service it takes FOREVER. They consider their food as artisan per the website.

My daughter and…read moreI both opted for the double smashburger- the sandwich only and my beautiful granddaughter opted for the children's chicken tenders. We also got to snag a French fry off her plate. They sure look to be fresh cut fries! Tasted so fresh but very salty for my taste. The young man who took our order had been the sunflower attendant when I had visited the lovely sunflower field. He was polite and efficient. I like how the order takers read the order back to you for verification. I also like how Heislers gives an electronic beeper to summon you when your food is ready. This is an added value enabling guests to pick a spot to sit, relax, and get the condiments/napkins/plasticware while not having to stand and wait in the blazing heat. Thank you!! When my food was ready I went to claim it. No need to show a receipt etc. It was very organized! I did have to request honey mustard sauce even though I had mentioned that at order placement. The guy was happy to accommodate my request. The food quality was EXCELLENT! It tasted homemade. We loved the burgers so much. Our sweet girl enjoyed her chicken tenders, fries especially and apple juice that was included with her meal. It is a beautiful place to go and eat if it's not roasting hot. Even if it is- cool down with a great frozen treat! I can't wait to go back and try more food! I was talking with another customer who simply raved about the buffalo mac and cheese. I love everything the new owners are doing!!! Don't forget to go into the small room at the dairy bar and buy yourself some merch!!! One suggestion- please have prices of things in the merch area clearly labeled. I had been in there twice and the staff seemed to be at a loss as to how much the ice-cream was and how much the shirts-sweatshirts were. Prices should be clearly visible to patrons. Each time the staff helped me but had to go look up pricing somewhere. I may go after work and try to cut down the last few sunflowers- . Keep up the amazing work!! The only downside to our visit was a rude ignorant customer tying up both the food and ice-cream window- that was not Heislers fault. He was apparently complaining about something when there is nothing to complain about. Remember your right to refuse service!

Baby bees swarmed everyone waiting on the slow-moving line to place order. Fortunately, the bees were too young to sting but if they don't fix their bee infestation problem then it's just a matter of time before people are attacked and stung. Finally got to the window and asked attendant what was in a certain flavor and she had no idea and had to go look at it and ask someone else. Waited about 10 min for ice cream pickup at a second window after placing order. It seems they use a production line method for each order made by clueless teens. Went to seating area to eat (more bees there) and was disappointed with what tasted like grocery store ice cream. Won't be returning here.

The vibe immediately pulls you in, classic 1950s ice cream parlor energy with a fun, nostalgic feel. One of the employees was even dressed in a white shirt and black bow tie, which totally fit the theme and added to the experience. They have a huge variety of flavors and options, so there's something for everyone. We came specifically for their Valentine's Day ice cream flight, and it did not disappoint. The flight included: * Cupid's Milk & Cookies * Raspberry Cheesecake * Red Velvet * Chocolate Covered Strawberry Every flavor was excellent, but raspberry cheesecake was the standout favorite rich, creamy, and perfectly balanced. We also grabbed a kiddie size of white chocolate cranberry cheesecake, which was absolutely delicious and worth ordering on its own. Because it was freezing out (a rare win), we took advantage of that and grabbed two kiddie sizes to go for my mom, knowing they wouldn't melt on the way home. They also had ice cream pies stocked in the freezer, plus homemade waffle cones and waffle bowls, which smelled incredible. The only downside and this has nothing to do with Sweet Ride themselves was parking. With all the snow piled everywhere, we missed a sign indicating a bus stop zone right in front of the shop and ended up with a $50 parking ticket from the borough. Lesson learned: parking in the area can be tricky, so just be extra mindful of signage, especially in winter. That aside, this was a five-star experience across the board. Fantastic ice cream, fun atmosphere, and a great overall experience. We'll absolutely be back just with better parking awareness next time. Highly recommend if you're anywhere near Reading
