Was in the mood for a burger so stopped in here to see what this place is all about. With Burger in your name, you would assume there would be some good eating in this spot! Walking in there was nobody else in there, so we were able to order right away. You order at the counter and you can pick from burgers already created, or create your own which is nice. I decided to try one that was already created. I do like that they are on the thinner side. Most of them are doubles I think because they are thin but I requested just one patty vs two. I had the cajun style burger which was really good. Loved the what seems like fresh cut fries as well. My only complaint is that there were several tables that weren't clean, so we had to walk around to find a clean table. Since it wasn't busy one would assume that there was time to clean the tables. It was also really really cold, so be sure to bring a jacket! Pricing is okay. 4 stars. Popped in today to observe National Burger Day and take advantage of the $5 Classic deal. No line, no wait. The cashier told me everything that came on the burger and asked if I'd like to make any changes. I appreciate her sharing the setup with me because I'm not a fan of raw onion on my burger, so I 86'd it. My burger was freshly prepared and it was hot and juicy. The only gripe I have is that it wasn't seasoned. If I'd had a lil salt n pepper, we'd be cookin' with gas. Lost a star for lack of seasoning. Otherwise, it was fantastic. We were greeted when we walked in. The store was clean including the bathroom. I was really excited that they offered a garden burger since I don't eat impossible meat. There was a miscommunication when placing my order, but its my fault for not looking at the screen. My total was $24 before tip. I ordered a garden burger, fried pickles, onion rings, and a drink. When I got my food, I took everything out of the bag. A long dark strand of hair was sitting in the middle of my onion rings. No big deal. I took it to the counter to let them know. I then opened my burger, and it was really meat with bacon on the sandwich. I still didnt get upset, just let them know I had a meat vs garden patty. I believe it was the manager on duty that ended up helping me. She became very agitated with me and said, you ordered a cajun burger. I in fact did not because I dont eat meat. I looked at my receipt, and it did say cajun burger. I did ask for the cajun sauce on the side but I never ordered a cajun burger. They corrected my order. I asked if there was a price adjustment. On Wednesdays in August 2025, they offered BOGO classic burgers. I customized mine with mushrooms, probably Swiss cheese, etc. Burger tasted fine, but I think it needed more flavor. So I'm just going to tell you this place has gone down hill when it comes to the night and weekend shifts. Really young staff likely teenagers. We came in around 810 this evening and placed our order at the counter. There were two staff members one who was consumed with cleaning while the other took care of the counter and the kitchen. We ordered the value baskets they have on special right now, one single and one double basket. I got the double with tater tots and they gave me 9 tots. Everything was hot and fresh, my burger was cooked maybe to medium well so I endured through it but my preference is no pink. My other family member got the single and it was cooked barely to medium. So he took it back to the counter and the girl and the counter took it from him said nothing and walked away rolling her eyes. When our food was finally ready the kitchen the guy put it on the counter and told the girl cleaning the order was ready and she just kept cleaning for a few minutes before finally bringing our food. We confronted her about the attitude and eye roll and she denied it, she was also making so much noise with the chairs it made the experience unenjoyable. Food is alway good here it's the service and portions (this time) that's the problem. I am pretty sure the manager that's here during the day is also the owner, things go a lot better when she's around. You won't get a better burger around here but service must improve for us to continue to dine here. read more

Tried Wayback Burgers for the first time today, grabbing it to-go after a long day of running errands--and it totally hit the spot. But I did think their response was odd when I informed them of missing items. To preface: the bag was sealed and I met the delivery driver outside. I sent an email to Wayback letting them know I had missing fries and the ranch that went with my chicken tenders "boxed" meal. The reply from Wayback: "Sorry that happened. I reviewed the cameras and everything went into the bag. I'll reach out to the delivery partner and let them know your concerns." I emailed back asking what was seen on the cameras? Because my bag was sealed upon arrival. No more communication from Wayback. I wanted to see the camera footage. 1. A newer place. I'd never been to this location before but had eaten at the one in Evansville a few weeks prior. I like their menu. Lots of burgers, plus stuff like cheesesteaks and other handhelds. Salads as well as shakes. I ordered the A1 Steakhouse Burger. It's very very good. The fries were good too, and the bill was fine. Counter service. They have a rewards program that's excruciatingly confusing and convoluted to figure out how to enroll in and use. I eventually gave up, even after two of the employees tried to figure out how to do it (they were unsuccessful as well). I can see this being a once or twice a year kind of place.
