Looking for help, a handyman that could check it out, maybe clear the drain on the back of the unit if it was clogged and causing the leak. Jeff was the first person I called as he was local and had great reviews. He answered on the first call after barely 2 rings and was happy to check it out for me, we set a time but he ended up needing to reschedule for later in the day. When he showed up he checked the unit thoroughly before adjusting the unit in the window so it tilted at a slightly different angle and suddenly the leak stopped! I can't tell you the relief I felt in that moment. Living in New Orleans the summers are brutal and turning off the unit for periods of time to manage the leak was something I could only do for brief periods of time. The best part is he didn't charge me for it since it took him less than 5 minutes to diagnose and fix the issue. I can imagine many would charge just for their time and gas money, I truly appreciate that he wasn't out to get money for something that was barely a job. My experience with this company has been an absolute nightmare . I hired Timmy and Sons to do…read moreelectrical improvements as suggested in my inspection report for my new home. He did a number of projects that I hired him for, totalling over $6,000. After the work was completed, I began to notice fixtures and outlets that worked before no longer worked and the new installed outlets never worked to beging with. I brought this to Timothy's attention and he told me that he was out of town and he'd be back the following week, so instead of waiting for him to return I reached out to another electrician for a second opinion. This new electrician along with my contractor looked at the new work that was done and found some deeply concerning code violations and dangerous new wiring configurations. I now have to have all of the wiring TimAfter learning of these code violations I reached Timothy with my concerns and evidence of negligence asking if he had any response, he denied any wrong doing and responsibility. After being met with dismissal of my concerns, I began to look further into the company. After searching and contacting both the state contractor board and Orleans parish board I discovered that Timothy and his company are not licensed to do electrical work. He misrepresented himself as a licensed and insured electrician, which if I had known before hand I would have never hired him. His not being licensed also meant that he didn't pull permits for anything of the work he did, which I was under the impression he did. If you want your electrical work done without permits and not to code go with Timmy and Sons, if not avoid this business like the plague.

I found his estimate to be lower or at least in line with the others, providing top of the line industry standards equipment, and of great value and his service and professionalism at or in several cases much better!. As this was full replacement and a very big expense, I needed to get it financed. I did talk to multiple contractors to get my estimates and had I been able to get financing to use him I would have chosen his company. Unfortunately, I was not and had to use another company. The financing its clearly not his decision and it is the only reason I needed to use another company. I highly recommend Rynell and Funches AC, Heating & Electrical and will plan to use them for other issues I might have in the future that do not require the financial costs of this install!
