These promises were never fulfilled, despite constant communication and text message exchanges on our part to follow up. Actions Being Taken: We are filing a formal complaint with the Department of Agricultural and Consumer Services today and will be contacting First Coast News to expose these egregious business practices. Beware of this place. We honestly wish we had never bought this house. The pictures are only a few examples of the quality of home you will get. These pictures were taken of a BRAND NEW Buckhead. Delivered with the wrong appliances, and the wrong tile back splash. Dealer and Manufacture say they will fix the issues, but never do. Look at the reviews carefully, most of the good reviews are from people who just walked the lot. Focus on the reviews from people who actually bought a home. Our experience was horrible. We requested the flooring be replaced in the home because the contractors that they had hired to do the work on the home put scratches and big gouges in the laminate. The laminate also had big gaps where it had separated during the transportation of the section, they replace the flooring no questions asked but in the living room near the front windows the laminate is pushing up has a big hump I emailed Justin at Wayne Frier homes he emailed me back and told me that the laminate was not under warranty how can you have a brand new home and the flooring not be under warranty all we asked was they fix that section and they refused he did tell me to send him pictures but he told me that it was not under warranty. Would I recommend this company to someone else no I would not but I would tell someone that is buying a home from Wayne Frier Macclenny do not sign the final paperwork until you are satisfied with everything in the home because once you sign the paperwork they will not do anything else. read more

We purchased a home in June 2022. my home was delivered in October 2022 to my property. They had a time getting it into the driveway as it is long and narrow they got it in. I knew going in Through speaking with Jared and Brittany what to expect as far as timing and permits and waits for contractors. I am grateful to all involved for taking care of us, I truly am delighted to be in my new home . I am saddened by the negative reviews on this site and hope the folks that are not happy right off get all they need to enjoy their new homes. Customer service is horrible. I had Elliott as my salesman, had he stayed, I think I would have been totally satisfied. Jared took over, so things went south quick. He tells you what you want to hear, lies, then says he never said that. Even with email evidence. His set up crew is a joke. they lie too. I was told I would get my home 'tomorrow'. After work and the home was not there, I was told, 'it's on the side of the road because of the time', so I backtracked. The home was still in the lot behind other pieces. The set up crew did not have the move on permit. They also set the home down on the wires. Do yourself a favor...go to any other Wayne Frier for the home you choose. I love my home, but these people lie, lie lie. They cheat you out of money. Told I was getting one refund to get $3,000 less. Just say no! read more

Took 3 weeks and still never got back to me on my application. Dealt with Misti first, fired her after the second week, then dealt with Elliott the third week. I'm still waiting on an answer Everytime I call and ask about the status of my application he says, I'm not sure what's going on with them, I'll call them today and try to find out! I can't tell you how many times I've heard that story, excuses, excuses! So I went to Lake City to Freedom Homes, spoke with Wayne and he went through the same lender as they "supposedly" did (Casade) and got an answer the same day I filled out the application. We started our paperwork for a new home with one salesman (Chris). We had everything ready for closing within 3 weeks. It then took more than 2 months to go to close (and 6 months for delivery). At that time we learned our sales rep was no longer with them. We closed anyways. Once our home was set up on property we could not reach anyone for any assistance. We kept being told Jarod would call and he wouln't. We had to schedule our own final inspection with the county twice. It didn't pass the initial inspection. We had to contact the electric company to have the new power ran. Though we were told during the sale all of this was included in the sale of our home. The setup was done HORRIBLY. The ground wasn't given time to settle after 10 loads of dirt was brought it. The floor in every room has loud squeeking settling noises when walked across. The outside siding is lifting in places. The interior molding was only nailed down in the middle. So the ends are poking out. Only two interior doors properly close. The hall toilet was leaking water all around the bottom. There was NO wax ring. The incoming water lines weren't fully connected to the faucets causing leaking into sink cabinets. There are two razor gashes on the walls in corners. The ceiling has random plaster blotches in several rooms. There is a linoleum burn where the floor was seamed in the master bath. The master shower wasn't siliconed at all and leaked. Therr has just been issues after issue. They didn't ever come do the final walk through and haven't returned any calls since the closing. I would NEVER EVER recommend this place for a home. Unless you want a brand new fixer upper. read more

We have cheap dollar store glass shower doors in the bathroom kitchen has laminated counted tops no marble. The stover and fridge fell over in delivery. the stove dont even work, fridge has a huge dent in it, I was here when the home was delivered called Bill and he told me everything would be fixed or replace. NEVER HAPPENED I called him every day to see progress He always had an excuse for it all, so I went to Jarod same thing. All excuses Come look at my junk I bought from Jarod and Bill, DO NOT BUY FROM THAT PLACE. AND YOU GET A 6% INTEREST NO MATTER WHAT They get a HUGE kick back on that. All are welcomed to come look at the JUNK they sold us. And they think caulk fixes it all . BTY you have 60 days complain Jarod make sure in his email to me... so after 60 days its on you to fix. Just walked out older gentleman (David walker)would not accept my usda loan without a letter saying how they would get paid. So I put him on the phone with my lender and he tied to convince her to switch to fha loan. In the end I was told I could use their lender out of st Augustine. (The only place that accepts their fishy "construction perm " loans that I was told I needed)Well last year when I tried the lenders there added 15k in extra fees that was not discussed originally and was added on to the final paperwork. Just wanted to update my review. Jared the owner sent over Casey to handle our issues. Casey called me around Monday I want to say. We talked on the phone for a bit but he was very polite, respectful and listened to everything I had to say. After going over the issues with him he told me he would stop by with his crew on Thursday and wouldn't leave until the job was done. Today these guys showed up (Baker, Casey, Gerald, Duncan) and I cannot tell you what a breathe of fresh air that was. these guys showed up with EVERYTHING in hand and got straight to work. I walked the house with Casey showing him the issues that needed attention and as we were going through the house he put a guy on EVERY SINGLE item on my list. no one was ever standing around everyone was working on something or helping each other out. I didn't think they would do much but I was wrong. they came and did what they promised to do. they fixed my floors, carpet, lights they even got underneath the house to make sure things I didn't ask for were in good working condition. its rare to see a well oiled crew together working. these guys didn't even take a lunch just to get my needs done. These guys did an outstanding job today and I am glad jarred sent them my way. I bought this home for my parents and it made me happy to see them smile today as their home was finished and brought up to their high expectations.
