In all fairness the previous owners did have a dog, but we don't see any other issues that dog caused so I'm doubtful. It's also gotten significantly worse since we moved in and we don't have a dog. I'm giving 2 stars since the rest of the flooring looks good, but just beware that if their installation doesn't stand the test of time (fairly minimal time as homeownership goes), you're likely on your own.
