But if you like being submerged and also appreciate learning things along the way about your hair, you can tell the students are happy to answer with what they know. The price point is so affordable, and you leave feeling pampered because each service comes with a wash and blow dry/style. It's also conveniently located near a shopping strip, which includes places like TJ-Maxx, Old navy, Nordstrom Rack, j-crew and Whole Foods. Kaylee seems very confident and knowledgeable in coloring, and also has such a positive attitude. It's relatively a busy space, mixed crowd.

My cut took about an hour and 30 minutes, which is longer than expected for something so simple. However, since this is a training school, students need to pause for instructors to check their work, which explains the pace. In the end, only about an inch was trimmed off, and my hair looked the same. I saw there were very little hair on the floor. It was a ln ok experience for $15, but not something I'd likely do again.

Some are more confident, engaged, and eager to learn than others--which makes a big difference in the overall service. The same student did both my pedicure and haircut. The pedicure was good overall--the lotions and massage were really nice--but I was a little disappointed they no longer remove dead skin, which is something I personally look for. Color selection is somewhat limited, but still decent. My haircut was pretty simple--just a cleanup with added layers. The instructor did step in to guide the student, and while it wasn't done exactly right at first, the instructor finished it off and it ended up looking good and much healthier. I also got a shampoo with a really nice scalp massage, which was a highlight. I do like supporting the students and the learning environment, but it's important to go in with realistic expectations. When I finished the course she said the certificates would be mailed but I never received mine and had to call regarding it.
